The flu is really bad up in G'ville right now. From what I read this morning in the Orlando paper, as of right now most of the key players should be ok to play. Just keep your fingers crossed that they stay that way. They really are going to need the week off to get healthy again.

Went to Walmart.....they were outta the size bag of dog food I needed.....I'll go check out the other Walmart or Petsmart in town............hate to buy it in Publix.too$$

went to Aldi for the 1st time.......they opened one across the street from Bealls.................kinda strange store.........the packaging all looked familiar but the names on it were different..........didnt buy anything,but the prices did look good......Im just not sure on the brands......maybe Im a brand name snob

Came home and washed the dog,then the laundry........vacuumed and now it relax time.....that was enuf energy for me.....hahah

PH - I was told up in NC that Aldi is somehow connected with Trader Joe's! Wouldn't it be nice if we got one of them here in Florida? That would be much better than having to drive to NC to get my Two Buck Chuck!

Gordon - I hope the rain treats you gently this weekend. You guys need a chance to dry out. Saw a picture in our paper of a roller coaster at 6 Flags. It looked more like the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel with all the low parts under water. Really strange looking.

Straightened out the kitchen after the work yesterday. Then I washed windows that open onto the lanai (fancy name for deck!!LOL). Now I've quit. Time to relax while Bert is at the store. Then it will be time to head for the Grill for dinner before BINGO.

We are under flash flood warnings through tomorrow night. Supposed to get nasty later tomorrow. The ground is so saturated right now that the water has no place to go. It's either feast or famine with the rain.

Aldi's carries off brand label items. They are a German company. I have never shopped at one. They do decent here in the Atlanta area. I stick to Publix. As a matter of fact, just got home from making my weekly deposit. I can't stand Kroger.

I do 99.99% shopping at Publix too............we dont have any Krogers.......

Waiting for Dennis to get home and Im gonna be a good wife and make big breakfast for him............eggs,sausage,hashbrowns, and biscuits(with honey--for him--not me!)...........I never make breakfast,much less eat it............rather have it at dinner!!

Gordon - Hope the creek doesn't rise up your way. You've had enough rain for a while. We haven't been getting anything here. Even with the sprinklers coming on occasionally we still have to water the new landscaping the old fashion way - hold a hose and aim at plants!!!

Actually won a game a BINGO last night. Gift card for Chili's. I can do that!

The gang is coming over to watch the game this evening. Oh Joy! 2 kids and a PIMA son who will be rooting for KY! :bbat:He'll root for any team playing against Florida. He's an FSU fan, so what can you expect? To make matters worse, his wife is a Canes fan! UGH!!!

Morning everyone. I'm a late riser this morning.

Not a good day for the Gators. Tebow, Major Wright and Joe Haden all have the flu and traveled on a separate plane to Lexington. No word on if they are playing today. I will be happy with a one point win today.

Ooooo ... Hadn't heard that, Gordon. This isn't looking pretty. I hope they stuff them with meds. Knowing Tebow, he'll still play. I'd hate to see them break their streak against KY, plus drop in the standings. Guess we'll just have to wait until 6 to see what happens. Now I want my family here even less!!!

We're headed to the winery then to the Villages.........Coldwater Creek just opened up there..............now i dont have to go all the way to gainesville!!

Have fun at the winery. What are you going to buy? We picked up some San Sebastian port last time we were there and brought it up to NC for the wine tasting.
Never been to Coldwater Creek. What do they have?

Need to send Bert to the store to get some muchies for later. Also want a bottle of Concha Y Toro. I think I'm going to need it when the crew gets here!!!

We were gonna go to San Sebastin,but decided to stay a bit closer to home.............not sure what or if we'll buy........just something to do...

Coldwater Creek is sorta like Chicos...........lots of travel clothes(no wrinkles!!) Been to the outlet in Orlando.........its huge!

Not planning on buying much of anything,anywhere............just window shopping.............
