Marcia - Poor cat...I can't imagine anyone hurting an animal, especially like that. You have a great and loving family.

Lucky is doing fine, and we think he will be okay. Of course, this is helping Gary get over Clarence...and when Lucky does his little purr, it makes all the work worth it. I just go to bed a little later and get up a little earlier. I'm glad it's not real hot or humid yet, as I will be taking him to work with me for a couple of weeks. We bought a camp fan (battery and AC operated) in case I need to cool off the inside of the truck during the day. Well, want to check out the other boards. Between work, kitten, dinner, Brandy, and trying to get 30 minutes of work-out in, my day is a little longer and full.

Good morning all,

PQ, some years ago, our dog killed a rabbit and then my son found the nest with 3 baby rabbits in it. They did not have their eyes open yet. I put a towel into a tupperware bowl and wrapped them up, went to the store and bought baby formula and an eye dropper and started feeding them, every 3 to 4 hours. Took them to work in a shoe box and kept them on a shelf in the school library so I could feed them during the day.
When they got bigger I would put their cage in the yard with the bottom out so they would eat grass, etc. and when they got really big, we took them to a nature preserve and let them go.... Couple of weeks later, we went back and one of them actually came to us and was doing fine. Everyone said I could not save them, even the vet...... "Don't tell me I can't do something".....

Hi all.............whatta bunch of animal lovers........no wonder we all get along so well.........

Busy running around day........bought curtains at Lowes(when did they become so expensive.......--jeez.used to get a pair in a package,now it a panel)......anyway,our Lowes only had 3 so I went to the Villages to get one more...........on the way home,Dennis called.......truck trouble.......the gauges went out on the dash.........but they did come back on..........he was on his way to key west...came home and back to freightliner........hope its only a loose plug or something cheap,....even since they screwed up the other day, they cant do enough for Dennis.........\

He's outside cutting the grass now.............i could take a nap.........Im tired..........but would feel guilty...........

Hey all, It has been beautiful here again. 72 and sunny again. But rain headed in and that always means falling temps.

Sounds like a loose connection of the ground on the guages PH. Shouldn't be that hard to find.

OK PH.....how about seconds?

It's cooler here today Marcia....and cloudy. Heat comes in Thursday......we'll see how the insulation and A/C for this house works. Has to be more efficiant than the SJ house. So....what did all you little women at church decide Marcia....decorating or recipe tips I suppose=sleep

Real Quick..........weather is just right here today. Cloudy up until 1:00 or 2 pm and then the Sun was in and out. Perfect for walking around Animal Kingdom from 9:15 until it closed around 5pm. then allow some time to get to car and home. Fun day. (Hate this LapTop keyboard)

PQ" Hope the kitty is doing better each day. I think she's going to be part of your family for sure after all the care you're giving it.

Got to get off of this and hit the sack.

I did go into the swimming pool with the kids tonight and it was nice. Of course the temp is at 90 degrees so it should be nice. It has a cover that we pull around it when we're gone and at night that must help keep that temp nice and warm.

San, part right, we were planning the menu for the Mother Daughter Banquet in May... And then started on setting up a Scholarship for High School seniors starting next year..... I brought all the info home and will write it up and then take it up again next meeing..... Requirements, who is able to apply, what they need, GPA, etc.....

Hahahah Kathie........I agree................Disney isnt bad off season when the lines arent long,but to be forced(cuz thats the time you're here) to go every day for a week is not fun.............anyway,enjoy the rest of the week........

Tony-Im working on nanoseconds............

Semms they couldnt find the problem with the truck.......its related to the computer module and the only way they can find whats wrong with it ,is they have to hook it up to the machines in the shop while the truck is acting up......sooooooo,for now,he'll go get the truck and hope it doesnt happen again..............Freightliner still feels bad about the snafu the other day, they are not even charging him for the 2 hours of labor to check it out...........

I had the same problem with a Ford Ranger I had once..........and it took forever to figure it out cuz it would never break down while I was at the Ford dealer.........

Sounds like you have a busy day ahead Marcia with your latest project...

kathie glad you are able to enjoy disney... I have 1 word for you... Baby swap!!!!! well thats 2 words.. but if you have little ones i would definetly do it.... it saves lots of waiting time...
Ph.. Hope the truck is getting fixed this morning.....it is no fun knowing you have work to do and not being able to it done.... Looks like a nice day today.. boys survived last night they were up till midnight,,, but slept late today....
We have been enjoying the pool.... looks like another nice day... ~p

Nothing they can do about the truck Patti............we're just hoping it doesnt happen again when he hits the road today........hope it was a fluke..

Good morning.

Hopefully they have fixed the electrical problem just by tightening connections etc.

Spent the morning doing administrative stuff and making phone calls.

I called Rita and changed the 2009 TransAtlantic cruise to a 14 day Ultimate Alaska on September 19. John and Angelia will be joining us.

heading up to San Jose for the memorial service.

You're not getting too old Kathie.....just smarter. Atleast, that's MY story.

K2 - Listen to PH...you just go to Disney at the wrong time. Tracy and I would go to Disney (when we lived in California), in September or October. Longest line may be 20-30 minutes. I would take her out of school for 2 weeks, but she went to a parochial school, and as long as she did her homework, the nuns/teachers didn't have any problems with her missing school. We were planning on using our last pass day (had 6 months to use and is up 4/27) this weekend, but it's still break for some schools and we need to take care of Lucky, so will wait until a later weekend.

Lucky is doing fine...he's up to 7 ounces and getting quite spunky. He's still sleeping a lot, but showing a lot more personality when he's awake. Brandy gave him a "mommy licks" today, so is getting more comfortable around him.

Well, want to check out the other boards before going to bed.

I have returned.... Honest......

Had a nice drive and a good visit. stopped part way in Eaton and picked up food at Bob Evans. Chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans with ham and biscuits. Aunt Willy baked a pie and had ice cream.... Good lunch. Then we sat at her table and watched the squirrels eat corn on the cob and the birds eat suet and bird seed while we ate. I'd love to have a view like that..... The trees are just beginning to bud out.
She gave me a beautiful Carnival Glass Bowl that was Aunt Marguerite's.
Then when we got home, of course, I had to call right away to let her know we were home, and was told not to stay away so long next time...
Ooooops..... Yes, Aunt Willy........

Hope everyone is having a good day.......

I went to Walmart and Dinkin Doughnuts(all sizes of ice coffee was only 99 cents).....how could I pass it up???

Read outside then grilled wings.........
