PH - We're thinking of going October 2009...we like cruising in October....I have another question for you...You said we can get our past guest discount applied after booking (if we book a balcony or suite)...What about C&A coupons?

You can use your upgraded coupons later too(of course, depending on date restrictions on them--they are starting to crack down on them)but so far,no coupons for the FR for next OCt................we're going Oct 4th,2009.........

J and A, M P & J are coming for dinner tonight.....so I plan on having a good day. A&A are in martha's Vineyard today......road the ferry over this morning....I think they're ready to move there....not really, but they like new England.

NE is really pretty.............have to agree with them.....

Lauren and I were headed out and saw her tire was flat!! Put air in but heard it still leaking..............saw a nail...........called AAA and waiting on them.....................fun,huh??

Done cleaning this house and washing clothes and rugs for today. All I have left is to do a really good
cleaning of the showers and that will have to wait until Friday. Wised up and don't try to do it all in one
day anymore.

Company has come and gone. We didn't get to do anything beyond hanging out on our deck due to lots of rain, thunder and lightening. Turned out to be a rather crummy day. Now the sun has decided to come out. That figures.

PH - That stinks that Lauren got a flat. Hope AAA got there fast enough.

San - FYI ... We don't have freeways in Florida. We have to PAY on some of our roads! Have fun with the gang tonight.

K2 - When you get finished cleaning up your way, want to come do mine? I'm getting to the point where I hate to clean the house any longer. It only gets dirty again!:cool::D

AAA came and put the spare on.............we then went to Tire Kingdom(where I was just a few weeks ago).........dropped her car off and we went bowling........had fun........ran into a old high school friend of L's and she had her 3 month old baby.......of course, not married... :cool:

then we got Brusters ice cream and her car and came home...............nasty out now.......

Shes feeling much better since she stopped taking calcium......

time to go make tacos..............Im making her eat......Dennis asks me how come I dont cook as much for him.........hahah.........

time at all.......

PH - Thanks for the info...sounds like you and Lauren had a great "unplanned" day together. Rain here, but no lightening and/or boomers...had some at work earlier.

Today, it was announced that Debbie (our second in command) would be interim supervisor...more like a permanent position. I already knew as I did the PSN...I think it will get much worse before it gets better. Looks like no increases next year, which we already figured out, no step-ups, so salaries are basically frozen across the boards, any insurance increases will be passed on to employees, and looks like we will close down the week of Spring Break, so it will neccessitate taking your vacation at that time. That's the only item that really bothers me...I don't vacation at Spring Break, as everyone and their brother is vacationing at that time...so the district is taking our 19 vacation days and telling us when we have to use 14 of those days. You can not take the time uncompensated...so you only have 1 vacation week a year that is of your choosing. Oh well...at least I have a job with retirement.

Okay, done with my little rant...tomorrow is my Friday...woohoo.

[large]PQ: I know how you feel about having a job, but it just sucks when they make it so hard on the good faithful employees. Times are tough, but companies seem to be making them even tougher!! But like you said "At least you have a job". How long before you can retire? Art is soooooo glad he got out of Fords when he did. He loved his job for all those years, but it would have really killed him to go to work the way things are there now. He has friends that show up at the bar they play cards at and they keep them up to date as to all the CRAP that is going down there. UNREAL.

Off to hit the couch.[/large]

this fancy luncheon to go to and I can just hope that it will be INSIDE and not outside in the heat and humidity.
It's going to be up to 90 degrees here today. It rained again in the middle of the night so it's muggy as all get
out already. (td) This house I'm going to has a "lovely pool" and huge backyard, but I don't want to drip out there
today!! HELP..........::eek: Later all I've got to get ready to rub shoulders with some really "wacko" women. Although I must say that one of them is a nice little old lady from our church who is 87 years old. Too cute. I'll stick with her.

Looks like another day of t-storms will be heading our way again today. It rained for a couple of hours last night. At least the sun is shining right now and it's already over 80.

Jimmy and company just used the sod cutter to cut up the sod in the oval area I want plants in to the side of the house. Now we just have to figure out what to do with the sod!:cool:

PQ - Don't you just hate all the cutbacks that are going on in the school systems right now? I remember about 10-12 years ago when we didn't get raises for about 3 years. It sure didn't make for happy employees! Having to take your vacation over spring break really stinks. Would Gary have to take his then too? I hope your "Friday" passes quickly.

PH - Glad Lauren is feeling better. How long will she be staying by you?

I am usually up till 11:30.....just dont get on the puter that late..........have fun at the luncheon today K2 and enjoy your lunch too,Marcia....

Everyone's going out to lunch...........Im feeling left out........hey BB,wanna go to lunch??:)D

Dennis just left for Miami(not a fav place)but hey,its money..............truck purchase on indefinite hold...........interest rate too high and we both just did not feel 100% comfortable with it.............I fell much better about the whole thing since he decided not to go ahead buying one....at least not at this time.............
