What if Dennis doesn't like the truck?? Can he not take it?? Seems like a hard way to buy something so expensive without seeing or driving it. Sure glad I don't have to make that decision.

SAN: Did your Margaritas have Triple Sec in them? And some frozen Lime-Aid?? And Tequilla. Do a good for Margaritas and you'll find all kinds of recipes. I did the google for Strawberry Margaritas and the one I choose was great. [/large]

Yes, dennis has a say when the truck comes in..............its a used truck san,so no choice in color,,,,but in this case,its white.....cant afford payments on a brand new truck...........

I wound up googling drinks with rum and pineapple........thats what I had.......made pineapple daiquaris........very tasty.........made 2 each.....sat out by the pool and drank them.............

Gonna watch Ice Road truckers now............recorded from last night...........

Afternoon all...............been real busy today.............

Dennis decided against the Volvo................no dealer in town..........automatics would cost a FORTUNE to work on(compared to manual)..

Now hes torn between keeping his truck or getting a Freightliner...........he is so worried he is gonna make the wrong choice........

Gotta go clean the pool..................

Lauren is coming up this afternoon and staying till Thursday........she'll get to see her new room..........

OK, I need to apologize to PH on here. I made a couple of uncomplimentary remarks on the bunny thread in jest to try to smoke her out. Bill called me on them because they were pretty tasteless and wrong. Bill was right, I was wrong.... and I apologize PH. {it had to do with the lottery, pregnant and about tight fitting clothes that you mentioned on another thread} [This is just so you don't have to go back to the bunny thread when you said that you wouldn't]

It is nice to see Marcia and BB post on here. Please keep it up.

The fire on the Summit of Highway 17 turned out to be small and no real threat, Marcia.

[size=large]Just got home from dropping Eric off. The kid ate really good tonight. Amazing what a full day of exercise and jumping around and biking 8 miles can do for a kid's appetite.
I'm not as tired as I thought I'd be. I did want to jump in the shower with him though!! Can't wait to take mine when I get off this computer thingy!!
It's been a LONG DAY.
Art had a great birthday. He's biking right now and that's all that counts in his book.

San - the fires look horrible in Northern CA...I hope everyone stays safe...Nothing like dry, dry weather.

After a couple good storms this weekend, it's been dry at the house...at work we get the afternoon storms.

Need some advice from the resident RCCL experts...originally I was going to book the Carnival Glory, hoping to be transferred to the Dream since the debut was to be fall 2009. I know, I'm a switch hitter Carnival and RCCL. But the dream won't be at Port Canaveral until December and the Glory leaves mid-September...so by default I get to go "deluxe" and cruise on the Freedom of the Seas. So my question is...do I book now or wait until October after going on the Mariner? Two reasons I would wait..one - I'll be platinum after that cruise (no diamond or diamond plus here ) and I can do a "next cruise." Should I wait or look at booking now? Are there any plantinum credits for oceanview/balcony cabins? Can they be applied later. I'm so confused =huh

I look forward to your opinions.

You can book now and when you become P, you will get your $100 balcony discount applied......as far as when to book, you can wait and book while on the MA so you get OBC too........BUT chances are it may go up more than $100(the amount of OBC) between now and then,so it would be a wash..........

No discounts on oceanview........only balcony and suites..

When are thinking of going???

Belated happy birthday to Art, K2. Sounds like you had lots of fun being cool grandparents to eric!

Can't stick around too long. We've got a friend and his 4 kids (YIPES!!!!) showing up at 1. The kids are like a plague of locusts. They eat everything in sight that we put out for them and then we'll go to the Grill for them to get more food. I just don't know where they put it all.
