I'm calling various pharmacy's to see if they have these special drops that I need to use after the surgery tomorrow and it's amazing the price difference from one to another.
CVS = $86.99
WalMart = 74.78
Meijer = 76.02
WalGreen = 89.00

Sure glad I have prescription coverage.

We got a breeze that came through our area about 1 hour ago and it took away the HUMIDITY. YIPPEE. So much nicer outside without it.

No, I can't imagine K2.....how do they act?

Good luck tomorrow with the eyeball burning and cutting.....try not to give it a second thought. I thought that you were only having one eye done.

Let's just say I hope to be able to still "SEE" when I get done with this!! ::eek: So far I'm not nervous about it. Of course, that may change once I get in the office!! Hee Hee!!

Couldn't find anything on Vanlousky. Bet Marcia could dig up her old SIGN-ON name from the old CC Threads she has saved all these years. I looked at one from 2004 and couldn't see any posts from her. That's the only one I have saved.

Marcia - There's a link to kitten pictures on Shutterfly at the end of the post. Hope it works. They are just crazy...right now they are jumping around on the couch and watching the cursor on the computer. They're just waiting for me to head to bed...then they will follow...they sleep with us, Brandy stays on the floor, as it's too warm this time of year for her to be on the bed.

K2 - Good luck with the surgery tomorrow. Poor Art...cutting into his card-playing time. :D

PH - You sound more relax now that you and Dennis have decided to stay with your current truck. Hope things stay "well" with the truck.

Well, I better get going...tomorrow's my Friday...yippee!

Quick post from work...Thanks for viewing the furry kids...they rule the house.

Need some help from my RCCL-knowledgeable friends...Approximately how far out do the shore excursions show up on the website? Dining opened today for our Mariner cruise, October 19, but still no shore excursions. Is it 70 or 90 days out? Or just the luck of the draw? I usually do my own excursions, but we want to do the Canopy tour in Jamaica, and it's only offered through the ship....or at least the one we want to do is offered through RCCL. Not that I wouldn't hire San as a tour guide ;) ...just this time want to be safe.

Back to work...Thanks for the TGIT, K2, hope the eye surgery goes fast and painless.

Thanks for that heads up on the restaurants,PQ...I see ours is open now too.......for Dec Mariner......

I dont know if there is a set amount of days before the excursions open up..............sometimes they are there earlier than other times..........sorry.......

I think the restaurant were set up by ship...each ship had a different date on the schedule I saw on CC - I think it's great that you can reserve ahead of time...us lowly gold members (will be platinum after October), don't have the priviledge of pre-booking. When you do pre-book the restaurant, you pay via credit card...so it's prepaid.

Shore excursions for Jewel Trans-Atlantic in Sept, have been listed for several months already on the Internet..... The mail out book arrived Monday, I think it was.

PQ-ok,we have Portofino for Wed night.............BTW-----we couldnt prebook before just because we were D.......sure some got in touch with the concierge to ask,but it wasnt something we could call C and A and tell them to reserve.............for my own experience, we booked just by being on the ship ASAP and getting to the restaurant to reserve..........


speaking of food,Im hungry.............

So - we went to meet Grandson and his wife at Applebees and then to the Business Expo. I won a $25.00 gift card from Meijer store and then Carl just got a call from
Mercy Hospital that he won a $100.00 gas card. Wow, was that a worth while business visit.

[size=medium]Hi GANG. Yup......I'm doing just fine. Surgery went as planned and painless. I didn't like the feeling of the Valium, but was glad I had it. The whole thing took all of maybe 10 mins TOPS and I was out of there and home in what seems like a flash. Slept a lot today and tried to listen by keeping eyes closed. I have a cool looking plastic google mask to wear at night for a week. Dark glasses when going out in the sun and DROPS 4 times a day to avoid infection. Also, drops for dryness right now. Nothing hurts, but the eyes are DILATED and sensative to light. I have these dark GLASSES on right now as I type. Too funny.

Marcia: Loved the picture of you holding your Grand Goat. Too funny. And any part of the Grand Caynon is just AWESOME.

It was another HOT day here today and I was glad I was inside with the AC on.

Take care I'm off to bed now!! Not sure when I'll get back on tomorrow. :wave[/size]
