I'm sitting in front of this screen without sunglasses on right now. The eyes must not be as DILATED as they were
last night. One seems like it has a slight scratchy feeling to it, not as smooth when I blink as the other. All normal according to the discharge papers. I go to the Drs office at 9 a.m. and will find out how I did then. I can see BETTER already so something worked RIGHT!! (tu)
Okay enough about my silly eyes.

SAN: Hope your STATE sees a little break in those fires. Still a lot of horrible pictures on the TV news.

PQ: Saw your Kitty pictures and those 2 kitties and your dog are just too cute. The dog looked like he swallowed the kitty when he had a BIG GRIN on his face!! Adorable.

BB: How's the curbing coming along. Does it look better than the first time around?? Is it a "color" or just natural cement color? What do they do with the OLD CURBING that was on there? I suppose it gets hauled away to the dump??

Yeah, I know too much SUN, but would you really use the pool area that more if it was half covered?? And how secure is this cover when you guys get all those hurricane storms coming through there?? I hear very little from Hugh, K2. I think that he is very leary of me right now. One of his sons told him [before I was able to] that I had a big problem with how fast Nadine was replaced. I believe the woman has moved in with him.....he couldn't empty Nadine's closets fast enough.

I don't think that he has much time for others....including his sons right now.

K2-you crack me up.........you have an opinion for everything.............anyway,I wanted the area covered over where we eat,not over the pool.......not a very big area.......just so we could sit there when it rains or is too sunny..........BUT it would cost $3000,so forget it for now......(for the record,lots of people have part of their pool area enclosed.........Im one of the few that dont..)

Sorry to hear you have "lost" your good friend,San......his priorities are messed up and nothing you or his own family can do about it.......

Had lunch at El Taxco today and ran into PQ there......maybe next week we can go to the Burrito place????

D*mn....timing is really uncanny. Hugh showed up here this afternoon unannounced.......and we had a really good visit. Nancy was even civil to him.....which I had my doubts about. He and the lady are sailing on Monarch Monday....LAX, SAN, ENS, CAT, LAX. He wants to bring her down here to visit.

I just figured everyone left them open. What the heck do I know! =huh I guess a table with a BIG Umbrella would do the trick for eating outside too!!

Oh I dont mind you have an opinion K2.....it just cracks me up cuz you do have one on everything.......you say what you think...and thats ok........

We do have a table and umbrella right now,but it would be nicer not to......but at 3K,I can buy a new table and umbrella every year, if I want...In FL, like I said ,most have a covered lanai area(with ceiling fans too) and it is just an extension of their living area......we should had thought about it when they built the enclosure but didnt......

[size=medium]Whewww.........we just had a HORENDOUS RAIN STORM out there. SAN, I think it would have put out at least 1/4 of those Calf fires. The ducks are just going to love the extra water in the creek. I love the fact that we DON'T have to water the grass! It's been amazing that we get a rain at least once a week and it's enough to NOT put on the sprinkler system as of yet! Love those savings!!

I'm going to google the weather in "HELL, Michigan" and see if Art and his bike buddies got any rain over there. Bet they did.
Yup, just checked and they either already got rained on or are getting now. Looks like at 2 pm they're going to get even more rain. He's NOT going to be a happy camper. Doesn't like getting his new bike all wet. It takes forever to clean all the chains and stuff on it.

Just a night time check in.............rained here on and off all day.....bet the grass will need to be cut again,even though it was done yesterday.......it grows so fast......

Like you K2.at least we can shut off the sprinkler sysytem........saves a few bucks.....

[size=medium]Time to hit the sack!! I'm tired. Made some cupcakes and a small little cake from the same batter and then made a neat frosting for it. Can't wait to get the stuff out of the house. I can't be trusted with it in here!! I love to cook and bake, but I really am trying to not to eat sweets.

Art said his group of bikers lucked out. They were at the FOOD STATION when the hard rain hit in "Hell, Michigan" so they didn't get wet. His poor bike did have to go through all the puddles and it was a mess when he got home. Spent hours cleaning the chain, gear, etc.

You all have a fun Sunday. We're off to the 90 year old ladies birthday party tomorrow. Her name to all that have known her for years is "Grandma Kitty". Yup, she always had a cat in the house. :daisy[/size]

Not much going on on any of these threads in the last couple of days. Everybody is busy, I guess.

Marcia: I have a 7 passenger mini van reserved for leHavre on September 9. It has to be back before 7 pm, but I think that that will give us plenty of time for all the beaches etc. Maybe you can get the research done so you can do a little narration.......I'm too lazy to do it. Tips for the driver will be expected.

I'm going out to water my flowers. Just amazing how the wind today sucked the ground dry. It's calmed down now and is just peachy out there.

Marcia: Got word that Michigan Blueberries will be ready to pick at this one farm on July 26th. They said they haven't figured out a PRICE per pound yet!! Hmmmmmmm, you know it will be high! Really shouldn't be. They didn't have to water this year and we're spending the money to drive out and PICK the little berries. The bushes have been there for years, so that wasn't a expense either. Should be interesting to see how much more than last year they really will be.
