Busy day yesterday.....Matthew, Joseph, Anthony and I worked on trailers and ATVs most of the day, getting ready for our camping trip the end of the month. We will spend the labor day weekend in Shasta/Trinity national Forrest.....going up Thursday and returning Monday......just in time for packing in order to fly out the following Friday. The whole family went to dinner at a nice Mexican Restaurant in Morgan Hill in the evening. I sat beside Joseph because he behaves better if I am close.....I still have the evil eye when I need it.

Uh, to the contrary, PH........last night I had a conversation with him about guacamole and what it looked like to him....i had fajitas, so we decided the tortilla with the stuff on it looked like a dirty diaper.....he's kind of obsessed with poop at this stage........also, her bursts into the Boom de ah Dah chorus every time he heard someone say "I love.......". The little guy's a kick in the head! He wanted some of my marguarita.....but, you know, I have to draw the line somewhere......don't mess with my drink, buster! But, you know what....I got him to stay in the high chair the entire meal......which is something his parents can't do.

Yeh a couple, but I get slapped down when I do them:cool:.

Took the Corvette north on California 1 this afternoon. Really nice weather out there. Had dinner at Costanoas north of Davenport and south of Pigeon Point. Nice restaurant. It's a place where you can sleep in a fancy tent.....it's like a first class campground. M&P stayed there a couple of weeks ago.....A&A last spring. Not sure I want to sleep in a tent.....but it sure is a pretty place right on the coast ..... a lot of outdoor fireplaces.

Time to get ready for Ice Road Truckers.

Sounds like a real nice day,San....Bet PQ knows all those places you talk about...........is gas prices under $4 yet out there??

Dennis said he paid 60 cents less a gallon yesterday than the beginning of July......Of course, its still too high......

saw unleaded around here for $3.55............

No, gas is still $4.139 here.....$4.399 for Premium. Not sure what diesel is, haven't noticed lately.

Come on, PH - You know better than to think we're too good for the rest of the riff raff in our group! Been doing very quick stops today to see what's been going on. In between I've actually been doing some work around here. Surprising, huh?:lol

Timer is just going off on the dryer, so I guess it's back to work for me.

I was busy on this computer looking into our land trip to Boston. Still have to firm up some things.

And then I didn't have much of anything to say and didn't want to just report on the WEATHER AGAIN. Even though I really love weather reports. It finally turned out to be lovely here today. This morning was touch and go.

Too Ashley out to that nice Italian resturant when she was here on Sat. It's a pleasure to spend money on a good dinner for her because she EATS! Eric would just take Chocolate Cake/w Ice Cream and be happy.

Out of here for now. Keep looking for me ...........makes me feel soooooo special.

You notice that K-2 will NOT be in Boston when we are... I think she timed that real well.....

San, sounds like a wonderful drive, but no sleeping in a tent for Carl and I. We both need our Tempurpedic Mattress.

Gee, first we were Elite and now we are Riff Raff...... Sure went down hill fast......

We're not going to stay there either Marcia.....but the tents have a queen size bed with good mattresses and a heated mattress pad.

[large]Got a message back from John telling me he was playing around with the "Cruise-Addict Site" and screwed things up for awhile and had to run the back-up to get it up and running again. He's such a nice guy to reply to my e-mail. Told me to direct any other problems to "BOB"!! :lol Not sure if he was serious or just being funny.

At 7:45 a.m. here in Michigan it looks like it's going to be a really nice day. At least those big black clouds are gone this morning!!

Marcia: I have a hair appt on Sept 19th or I would have tried to book our little trip to Boston when you all were coming back home. Nobody ever messes with my HAIR CUTS!! And besides you guys would all be sooooooo tired from your cruise and long plane ride and trying to get your connections that the last thing you would want to do is have breakfast, lunch or dinner with Art and myself!! I'm so looking forward to our Boston vacation!!

SAN: We had to close up all our windows AGAIN last night because of those stinky outdoor fireplaces. Someone was taking advantage of the "Cool Night" and had the smelliest fire going. Even Art got up and closed the kitchen doorwall because it was so strong. I'd never make it at your camp-outs!! So where do you and Nancy stay if you don't stay in the tents with the others?? Are there motels close by??

BB: You need to take some pictures of your LAWN ART for us all.

Good morning to all my elite/riff raff friends!:lol My nice quiet morning has been ruined by the lawn guys showing up. Thanks goodness they work with a crew of about 6 guys. That way they're in and out of here in about 30 minutes.

K2 - What's the matter ... You afraid we're going to nickname you Vany, if you keep giving weather reports?

I saw on yesterday's happy hour sale that they still had balconies available on the transAtlantic. I tried to get Bert interested, but no luck. D*mn! I thought I had him on that one!!!:(

Time to have some breakfast and then get to work. Also need to do some shopping and to pick up a spiral sliced ham for Thursday's dinner. I'll be sooo glad next Tuesday when our company will leave!
