TGIF Bunnies!
And to U.S. federal employees, Happy Juneteenth Day. Technically it's tomorrow, but the 19th is a Saturday this year. For this year the postal service workers get screwed out of a day off, saying that it couldn't reschedule things so fast since it was signed into law just yesterday.
So nice that you checked in BB. Sorry to hear about your breathing problems. Hope they clear up soon. I would have lost a bet about Bert eating a few of the White Castle hamburgers. I would have guessed he'd do "quality control" by eating at least 3.
Wow, that is one mighty tasty looking BLT or club sandwich, K2. You wouldn't have to talk me into ordering one. When you do try ordering your groceries from Krogers, will that be for delivery or Art picking it up? Some grocery stores will do it either way. Many restaurants are now being forced to jack up their prices to cover the cost of meat, like you mentioned. Others are thinking about reducing portion sizes. From what I've seen, portion sizes are way too big, anyway.
$40 plus a tip to come to your home and trim the nails of 3 dogs sounds like a great deal to me, Lee. Some businesses will charge you $50 just to show up at your home, before they do anything. You were so right in moving to a place near a waterway. (And all the wineries. Wink, wink.) So where did the Canada Post deliver your package to?
More rain, or a little pool time yesterday, KC?
I can't remember when BB returns. Any of you remember?
The sun being out the last few days with warmer temperatures is something I've gotten used to. But today and tomorrow are forecast to be soggy, windy and cooler. Oh well, at least it'll be sunny on Sunday.
STILL waiting on that doctor to send that order to the pharmacy for 2 prescriptions. I called yesterday and they said it might be sent today. I don't know what that office is doing. It should have been sent on Monday.
