Environmental Compliance Officer
Good morning from a very soggy Amherstburg.
Yesterday’s toilet quest got the thumbs down from the builder. Their interpretation of what the new home warranty covers and mine differ. I may contact Tarion, the company who oversees all new homes on behalf of Ontario, to get their interpretation.
Karen, I hope you’re feeling even better today. I get jabbed Monday and it looks like after Pfizer for the first one, due to supply chain issues, I’ll get Moderna this time. I think l’ll take a Tylenol with me and pop it when I get out. Good luck to Jane on finding a reliable installer.
Great update on Rita, her reaction to your new home and, well, everything Bill. It’ll sure be easier on you having your fine lady home.
There have been lots of fog horns over the past couple of mornings, evenings and during the day as well Kathie. I’m hoping you and Art have a distinct one on The Ark so we know when you’re coming down the river. I’m assuming that because your vessel is The Ark, it is pet friendly. Sorry to hear about your knee thingy being postponed. Has Art started to call you ”Festus” yet after the character on Gunsmoke?
Good to know things went well with your procedures Dave. Ya, this toilet which we didn’t choose, has two buttons on the top. One for “number one” (less water) and one for “number two” (more water). No good old change me in 5 minutes flapper valve. After I couldn’t find the part I needed anywhere I simply epoxied the suspect part in place so it works.
As mischievous and annoying as pets can be Pat, they always have a way to show you how important you are to them. Our friend Joyce who lives in Anthony, FL echoed what you said about increased prices, shortages and “hoarding” of some products. Yes, those cotton candy grapes have a really great flavour. As I recall they were pricier than red or green grapes but well worth it!
Time to try to feed the pups between the rains. Katie and Ava will eat but it’s a hope Bear will.
Have a good and safe day my friends!
