Good morning! Getting a late start today. I really was tired last night going to bed and pretty much slept through the night. Going to be another soggy day around here with frequent rain, heavy at times.

Kathie - Cappi is doing pretty good with the dogs in the house, but we have had some funny moments, like slapping the lab (Gypsy) in the nose and chasing him back to the bedroom. He just growls at the other dog (Daisy). He now spends his nights in the bedroom protecting us. He doesn't leave the bedroom until I do in the morning.

Karen - Glad you figured out how to get to the doctor's office tomorrow. We did a run the other day to the hospital where I have to get the bone density test. I like to know where I'm going well in advance. Glad you got those tiles and put them in place already. Try and stay dry today!

Dave - After having M&J live with us for over a year, this really isn't that different. They do chip in and help, which is a good thing. Plus I end up with someone to talk to when Bert disappears into his computer room for hours.

Our Yankee diner supper last night of fried shrimp sandwiches worked out great. I fried up over 3 lbs of shrimp and figured there would be plenty of leftovers for lunch today. WRONG!! Jimmy's cousin & her husband came too and they helped to finish off every last shrimp. He alone at 4 sandwiches! Man has a fabulous appetite and is so skinny.

Tonight will be our Cajun dinner and Jimmy's cousins will be back again, along with G&E and her boys. We probably won't be able to eat outside due to rain, so looks like we're going to have to eat in the dining room.

Well, well, well ... Bert just emerged from the bedroom, so I think it's time for me to get off here. We have to make a run to Sam's for more SHRIMP for tonight's dinner and want to do that before the rains arrive this afternoon.

Have a wonderful day, everyone. Play nice and wear your mask! :)

Good afternoon!
I got the elliptical today! It was an older one but still did the trick. The only problem is my heart rate. It was 127 going in, 127 at the 10 and 20 minute marks and, yep, 127 when I was done. My blood pressure dropped at the end of the exercise as it should. I tried to blame my heart rate on a) Vanessa for holding my arm to take the vitals and b) the scantily clad Olympic Women’s Beach Volleyball players on the TV. She wasn’t buying any of it. The nurse practitioner is supposed to call me about it. Maybe she can talk to the cardiologist or get me in permanently with Dr McFarlane from the rehab hospital.
Clutter drives me nuts. Not that that is a long drive. I like bathroom and kitchen counters and stuff kept nice and clear. To that extent I feel your pain Pat. It sounds like so far Cappi is ruling the four legged roost. Three pounds of shrimp!! How many sandwiches did that make?
“OK Art. You trim the shrubs and I’ll clean the bathrooms.” Seems to me that bathroom duty may be harder on your knee than doing the shrubs Kathie. Unless the shrubs involve a ladder. Those rigatoni crisps looked pretty tasty too! Nothing like a southern accent to warm a heart you all.
So Dave, I looked on Amazon Canada and can’t get the KitKats here in Canada. And for now I can’t cross the border. You do have my address, don’t you? I’m asking for a friend. Funny how a little accent paint can add so much to any job. It looks like we’re in for a good weather week as well. After a year living here and watching the weather patterns most of the weather we get here seems to come across Lake Erie from Ohio.
Sometimes Karen even we’re amazed at the diverse friends and connections we have. Al was supposed to be going to see Mike and Micky in Ohio, as close as they are getting to Canada, in September. With COVID that too could be in jeopardy. Not the game by the same name…Al is a military history professor with a couple of books to her name. She’s hoping to convince Mike to let her write about his Mom, Bette, who invented liquid paper better known as white out.
Hmm. Just got a weather advisory for funnel clouds which could develop in tornados.
My gosh sometimes I do go on, don’t I.
OK, time to find my ruby red slippers just in case I need to click my heels to get back home..
You all have a fantastic rest of the day. See you tomorrow!

Good afternoon!

Lee, nothing like a brisk ride on the eliptical to make your heart going pitter-patter huh? Sure hope they can get things back on a more even keel for you!

Kathie, you were quite the chatty early bird this morning...glad Art now realizes what a good landscape person you have been for him! Btw...tomorrows appt. is with my Dermatologist...next week is the eye Dr...

Dave, I will have to check out Amazon for those KitKat bars...I don't have prime...but I also don't usually have to much trouble finding $25 worth of "stuff" to order & get free shipping...
Sounds like the painting projecting is moving right along...can't wait to see some pic's!

Pat, glad to hear Cappi is making it known that SHE is the Queen of the roost & all dog interlopers had better keep their distance! Just hope she doesn't go back to making a snack out of your Oxygen tube...
We sure had the rain here yesterday and on thru the night...I woke up several times to very hard rain...it hadn't rained today so far...but I'm hearing rumbling now so I expect it won't be long...
Today was deep clean day...cleared out a couple of the "junk" drawers in the kitchen & then tackled the craft closet in the spare bedroom....I have quite a pile of stuff that is going to be dropped off to one of the area thrift stores that help the community...

Tonite's dinner is sautéed chicken breast, mushrooms & broccoli with an Asian Sesame Sauce & Ramen Noodles....should have enough for left overs another night...
Barb called me this afternoon & she got her 1st Covid shot today...she was not able to get the J&J so she went with the Moderma the same as I got....we are still working on Jane to get it now... Think I will go enjoy this brief pause in the rain to relax on the back porch for a while...catch up with you all again tomorrow!

Been watching a package from Walmart that was shipped Fed Ex...original delivery date was Thurs.....then it was saying Mon. Aug. 2nd....the tracking shows it spent all day yesterday in transit in Ocala...whatever that means....then this morning it was in transit in Wildwood...which is South of Ocala....and NOW it's in Orlando....who knows where or when it will actually make it to Belleview...I am liking FedEx less & less

Kathie, unfortunately due to our lovely Gov. DamSantis the cruise lines in Florida are not allowed to ask for proof of vaccination...just another dumb decision by our fearless leader!

Sending this out to Barb for getting that first poke Karen.
Dinner sounds “delish”. We tried potstickers in The Ninja. They came out really good.
Funnel cloud warning for us ended. Yay!
See you tomorrow my friends.

"Potstickers"??? Are you trying to make me even more confused than I normally am, Lee? I even looked it up, and got more befuddled. In your own words, tell me what they are. Stuffed dumplings? I didn't know Canada had its' own Amazon site. Must be because it'll show prices in Canadian money. Yes, please look further into the oddball heart rate you have to contend with.

Today or tomorrow is when the base-paint is "suppose" to be in at the hardware store, K2. Lack of it is sure slowing down this painting project. Art volunteered to trim shrubs? Is that lad's bike broken?

Suddenly I'm putting my money on Cappi, BB. "You're in my house now, don't mess with me!"

So happy to hear that Barb got her first Covid shot, KC. I sure hope that you praised her up and down for doing it. Pass on my thanks to her too. She's now no longer part of a problem, but part of the solution.

Around here it'll be another day with hardly any chance of rain. Today it's coat #2 of the dark green trim on one side of the shed. After yesterday's painting session I was completely beat, and today I still feel worn out, so I may not even go out.

This just popped into my head, K2; This past week Kathi picked up another box of 2 pieces of Key Lime Pie. The brand name of this one is "Edwards". It has more filling and a thinner graham cracker crust. We both agreed that this brand is the best we've found, so far.

flgirl51

Dave, Yes...Edwards Pies are the BEST!! And every so often our Publix stores has them on buy 1 get 1 free....I checked out the prices on those KitKat Bars and will pass....I don't "love" key Lime that much...

Woke up to more rain this morning....I'm starting to think maybe I should have built an Ark while I was building the deck & stairs...we might need it....heading out to the Dr.'s in a little bit...catch up with everyone later....masks on!

Good morning.
Lu-Ann has a bone scan this morning so I’m waiting, coffee in hand, for her to be done.
Yep Dave. That’s a pretty good description of Pot Stickers. A stuffed dumpling is a good way to phrase it. Kinda like a perogie with an Asian flare.
Yes, like many countries we have our own Amazon. We can usually order things from other Amazon’s but then you run into stupid high shipping costs and possibly taxes and duty.
Ah Karen, just one more thing we can only sample in Florida, Edwards Pies. I hope your visit to the Doc’s is a good one!
After Lu-Ann is done we’ll check out Costco. If it’s lined up we’ll just head home and I can weed whack. Lu-Ann cut the grass yesterday while I was at rehab. That’s cardio rehab. I do like to specify.
Back later. Stay safe my friends.

Good Late Mid-Morning! I've been up and busy since my SIL (Art's brother's wife) Judy called at 7:45 am! I didn't recognize the number on the caller ID and didn't answer. After a bit I thought maybe it's one of Art's biker friends that needs some help, so I called and it was Judy. She apologized and said she hit the wrong saved phone number in her list of contacts.
No harm done. Just got me up and moving.

I made us some yummy oatmeal w/ fresh peaches on top. I'm not a big breakfast eater so this was a treat.

Then I proceeded to CHOP, CHOP, CHOP veggies for "Stuffed Green Pepper Soup"! It smells and actually tastes just like them. I need to cook a 1/2 cup of raw rice and add it later today when we will have it for dinner. The rest of the BIG POT will get frozen for those WONDERFUL QUICK MEALS! I have a tube of that Pillsbury Corn Bread Rolls that I will make to go with it. Jill brought me that over the other day. She volunteers at a local Food Bank and they ALWAYS have left over fresh food and she brought me some. She tried to give me 2 cartons of Cottage Cheese, but I sent it back with her to give to her neighbors. I just bought a large cartoon the other day. I give Jill a lot of credit for doing these community jobs.

DAVE: Thanks for the Heads up on the EDWARDS Key Lime Pie. Not sure if we have that at our Kroger's store, but I'll look.

So how do you like the TRIM COLOR so far? I bet it looks great.
Good idea to take a OFF DAY. You're not on the CLOCK for getting that shed painted quickly.

Karen: I was going to send a regular size envelope with something inside of it to a friend and took it to the post office yesterday. Well, the nice clerk looked at it and put it into a SLOT he had by his station and said "This is considered a Parcel and will cost $4.72 to mail". I told him "that's not happening" and just ended up taking it back from him. I did buy 2 sheets of FOREVER STAMPS because I overheard another clerk tell a customer that the price of STAMPS is GOING UP AGAIN at the end of August. I do need stamps for those bills that some doctors won't accept credit cards over the phone for payment. And then there are actual Sympathy cards, birthday cards and other cards that I send out to people now and then. It's highway robbery what it cost to mail things these days.
So when you said the KitKat bars are a tad expensive I can just imagine what the SHIPPING CHARGES would be. Just not worth it. To me KitKat bars and the chocolate covering on the outside taste like wax. I know they have to make them that way so they don't melt. But I gave up on buying them long ago.

Lee: Now about that heart rate. It's good to have that top number 127 when you're just doing nothing. But the idea of getting on those machines is to INCREASE the RATE...RIGHT??

You are either just barely pedaling that machine or the Tech's blood pressure cuff is broken!
I had a light-headed feeling yesterday afternoon and took my blood pressure and it DROPPED. It came back up to a decent rate after I waited and took it again. No use calling and asking about it to the Cardiologist, they never give me a decent answer as to why it happens. All they want to do is change your meds. Well, I just suck it up and don't bother with them. If it happened often I guess I'd call and make a appointment, but by the time I would get in to see the nice doctor my symptoms would be long gone. Crazy how we can figure out when it's important to make that appointment and when it's just a waste of time.
Some my problem is I don't usually eat a decent breakfast and lunch is not part of my meal plan. :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Sure do feel sorry for you Southern Belle's getting all this rain, but it's better than Hurricanes and Tornados.

Pat: How was day 2? That's a LOT of PEOPLE to cook for. Sure hope you didn't have to lift a finger after making the food with that many "moochers" in the house! How many times did you have to sneak into your room to grab your wine stash and tip a few?? LOL
Hope you get to rest a little today.
When do the grandkids go back to school over there? I see picking them up in your future! You guys are going to get the BEST GRANDPARENTS AWARD for sure this year.

Okay, folks I need to go and stir my pot of soup. Then I'm going to ask Art to pull the hose around to the front of the house so I can water my plants. It looks so nice around our house right now I hate to see it start to thin out and fade away.

Have a nice day all. Lee: Hope that Lu-Ann's bone scan shows nice strong bones. We all know she does enough exercises to keep her calcium level for the bones up. Every time I go and get that bone scan it shows the bones are weaker than the previous scan. I take calcium injections twice a year and I swear that doesn't do anything but make my bones brittle. You just can't win. I'm progressively getting OLDER and that's just what happens. But the doctors wouldn't make any money if they told me that and skipped the scans. It's a racket. Ha ha

Later...........

Good morning, y'all! I'm sure that by the time I finish this morning will be long gone!

Karen - Yippy, Barb got a jab! Now it's time for you and Barb to gang up on Jane and convince her to do the right thing too. Good luck with your dermatologist visit. Bert has to go next week, I think, and can guarantee he will be getting more spots removed. He has to go every 3 months and there's always more. Sorry about all your rain. Right now our sunshine is in the liquid state! It's going to be another one of those type days!

Lee - Sorry to hear that your heart rate was so high before, during and after the elliptical workout. You just have to stop watching those porn movies while exercising! They tend to make your heart beat faster, or so I've been told. LOL Glad the pot stickers worked for you in the air fryer. Our crew love them and I end up boiling them, as I have to use the whole package. They'd become impatient if I fried them in small batches.

Dave - Just for the heck of it, I checked on Amazon for those ley lime KitKat bars. It's amazing how many different flavored KitKat bars there actually are! Good idea taking a day off from the painting. You're the boss, so you can work on it any time you want. Unless Kathi is the boss and a slave driver about the painting. Ha Ha!! Cappi actually has the 2 dogs afraid of him. He watches them constantly as they're going in and out of their room. Daisy is about years old and is a real love. Gypsy is a little older than 6 months and is still acting like a crazy lab. Plus she still has "accidents" if allowed to roam in the house.

Kathi - Our dinner last night went very well. You've seen pictures of the trays I use to make the Cajun dinner in. Usually I made 2 of those big trays. Last night I made 3 trays, along with a big pot of jambalaya rice. We have a small bowl of dinner left, but still have lots of rice. Missy can take either or both for lunch at work for the 4 days she works this week. Before dinner I had made a charcuterie board that Bert had to refill a second time. Jimmy's cousin brought a cheesecake sampler for dessert. They also brought me a beautiful vase full of roses to thank me for inviting them again. They didn't have to do that, but these flowers sure looks beautiful sitting on the table! I had also broken down and made some pumpkin spice muffins like we were talking about the other day. They are very moist, but I'm not sure I'd make them again. The spice cake would have been fine without the can of pumpkin in it.

Uh oh! I've got 2 hungry kids and a hungry husband looking for some lunch. Today's my easy day. They're getting hot dogs for lunch and then pizza for dinner. Better go feed them.

I knew I would never get this post done before noontime, so I'll say good afternoon now, as I head out of here. Have a wonderful afternoon. Enjoy your beautiful weather, if you live somewhere sunny. Karen, sorry once again for our weather. Notice not one word in my post about our state's resident a-hole!!!! Stay safe, all! :)

Checking in to see how you’re all doing as this Wednesday approaches dinner time.
That‘s the damning part with this heart repair Kathie. Today the heart rate has been a lot lower. I did 30 minutes on our stationary bike and it never went above 120. I know the numbers at rehab are good because the machine has built in sensors for heart rate and my Apple Watch measures heart rate. Lu-Ann didn’t get her scan done. Something to do with the paperwork. Another call to yet another doctor.
“You can get anything you want at Pat and Bert’s restaurant”. Think the tune “Alice’s Restaurant” and sing along. I’d post the song but it’s a DJ’s bathroom break tune. 18 plus minutes long. I hope the clouds gave way to bright sunny Florida skies!
How did things go at the doc’s appointment Karen?
Did your paint come in Dave?
I best get chopping. Falafel with Shawarma spiced potatoes and beans over mixed greens drizzled with a garlic hummus drizzle.
You all have a fantastic evening and we’ll see you tomorrow.

And it's raining here again! lad we didn't plan on going to the Grille tonight. It's definitely a pizza night and Bert will get it when either Missy or Jimmy get here. I passed on lunch today, so I really am getting hungry now.

Time to get off the computer for tonight. It's thundering again! Have a great evening, everyone! See you tomorrow!!:emoticon 0115 inlove:

Good morning all you cute little Bunnies!

Yesterday's best news story here in Ohio was about one lucky Granny. It seems that her relatives were helping her to move to another place and they were cleaning up her old place, including emptying out her frig and tossing stuff. A while later Granny asked them if they had made sure to keep a bag in her frig with an envelope inside containing $25,000. NOPE, it had gotten trashed. The trash truck had already made its' pick-up. An excited call to the trash company and they tracked down the truck and that he had dumped his load at a recycling place. Before it was all ground up, the crew there was put to work looking for this bag and envelope. Within 10 minutes they found it, to Granny's great relief. If nothing else, I believe Granny will be relying on a bank instead of a refrigerator as a place to keep her money, from now on.

Yes, the hardware store did get the paint we needed delivered yesterday.

Speaking of painting, neither of us did any of it yesterday. Just a laid back and goof off day for both of us. The only thing I did yesterday was to roll up the extension cord to the shed for the boom-box. Wednesdays are the day the lawn crew mows.

Around 8 this morning our painting will continue. With a time limit because we have to pick up our groceries at 10.

Sunshine and blue skies will continue at least through the weekend, as we inch our way to finishing this painting project. But with each day the humidity level will increase.

And that's what is happening in and around this burg.

Looking forward to later reading about what's happening in all your burgs.

This one is for Karen! I just know if this little kitty showed up at your doorstep she would take it in! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

I'm going to spend the first half of the morning waiting for the Anderson Door installer to come by and adjust the rollers on the Screen Door on the slider door! (a/k/a: Doorwall)! Since it's under warranty and we paid so much for the dang door I told Art not to touch it. It needs a TAD bit of adjusting to make it close tighter. My window of service time is between 10 am - 12 noon! So you might just say the entire first half of the day! Always something.

Lee: What a BUMMER for Lu-Ann not getting her Scan. You just want to SCREAM "WHY ME" when things like that happen.

DAVE: Good for you and Kathi taking a day off from painting. It's not like you have a deadline to get it done. Does the grocery store have a minimum order policy?
That Granny money story reminds me of Art's Mom and how she would hid money in one of those 3# coffee cans they use to have back in the day in the old dryer that didn't work and she kept rugs in there. She had over $10,000 in cash in the coffee can at one time and when her car keys were taken away because she was starting to have dementia she got ticked off and took the money up to the local town car dealership and was going to buy herself a car to drive. (she called a cab to get there) The nice car salesman knew the family and called Art's oldest brother to tell him what was going on. They stalled the sale telling her paperwork would take a few days. Alan went up and retrieved the CASH from the dealership and put it in the bank account. We were all amazed at how caring and concerned the dealership was to do something like that.

The big family JOKE was that we all wanted the OLD DRYER when Grandma passed away! Ha Ha. Grandma managed to hide 5's, 10's and 20's in books too! It took days upon days to go through all her books on the shelves to make sure they weren't throwing money away.

Okay folks, I have nothing right now for you. I'll be back later!

Pat: Hope the pizza was good. I can just imagine what your FOOD BILL will be like for the next few months! Keep a running tab and just deduct it from their inheritance! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

Good morning.
Endless calls to rehab's (cardio...I still do like to specify) nurse practitioner and the heart institute to get my Holter Monitor results release to the the nurse. She would like to review them after Vanessa was concerned about my increased heart rate. The Saga continues. My friend Pete starts cardio rehab today in Chardon, OH. I hope he has better luck than I am having.
Well Dave and Kathi, aren't you two just a couple of slackers! :p Good on you both for taking a day off. It's not like you have to get the shed painted before you back to work!
Funny about the generation that Granny was from. My Mom always had a whack of cash (not $25K) sitting around. You know, "just in case cash". In case she wanted to buy a new car like Art's Mom or a house or fund a small army?? Admittedly we keep a few bucks, and I do mean a few bucks, tucked away but nothing even close to the extent that my Mom or that dear Granny did!
I hope that your window guys come earlier in the time frame rather than later Kathie. Then you can clean the window and disinfect everything they went near after they leave. Come on, you know you will. I do hope they are respectful and at least wear masks.
And what kind of pizza did we indulge in last evening Pat? How's your weather look today?
I found a listing for Key Lime KitKat bars too Karen. 24 bars for $75.00 CDN. Shipping was free. At that price they should send somebody to unwrap them for you as needed!!
Yes, a simple error either by the doctor or the receptionist resulted in Lu-Ann not getting the test. The way the requisition was worded it would not have been covered by OHIP. The tech picked up on the error, questioned somebody in the front office and said that unless we wanted to "chance" getting a bill for $150 we'd be best to sort the requisition out with our doctor. We're both tiring of doctor's visits and tests pretty darned fast! Sometimes it seems that our pets get better care and follow up than we do!
Speaking of pets, I'm off to the vet to pick up a bag of Katie's special gastro food. $147.00 for a 35 pound bag. But you know, there will come a day when we will miss having to pay that for her special food.
OK, you all behave. Keep those masks handy and ON if you're out and about! And don't forget to wash, wash, wash those hands!

Good morning from sort of sunny Florida! The sun seems to keep coming and going this morning.

Dave - I think all of us have someone that was keeping that much money in the house. Bert's aunt had $10,000. at Bert's mother's house from an account that Bert had her close in Ocala. When she was packing to go home, Bert's mother luckily looked at an envelope that his aunt had thrown in the garbage. It was the envelope with the money in it! She had early dementia and totally forgot what was in the envelope. Her step daughter called Bert after she passed that there was a goodly sum of money missing from her bank accounts and tried to blame Bert for taking her money, which of course he did not. I wouldn't be surprised if she hadn't thrown some of it away at her own house. She also used to send very generous checks to her son in California, but more than once in the checkbook register wrote Bert's name instead of her son's name, as she didn't want the step daughters to know she was sending money to her son. That was another battle to try to explain. Why do old people do that kind of stuff??? Glad that the paint came in and your weather will be perfect to paint some more. Just don't overdo it and quit when you get too hot.

Lee - Our pizza last night was 1 cheese pie and 1 XX large pie with everything on it. Jimmy insisted on buying them which was nice of him. There's a few pieces left for tonight while Bert & I escape to the Grille for dinner with friends.

Kathy - Our food bill would be a lot higher if we had to buy everything at Publix. Restaurant Depot saves us a lot of money. Then there's Sam's for things like chicken breasts and chop meat. It all works out in the long run. We have enough food in the freezers to feed an army. Just have to hope we don't have a major hurricane where the electric is off for days and days. Good thing we have a generator in case something like that happens.

Karen - So what projects or such do you have planned for today? How was the rain by you yesterday? We had rain coming and going most of the day with a couple of t-storms thrown in for good measure.

Not a lot going on around here today until we're going out for dinner, if it doesn't rain, that is. Oh rats! I almost forgot that I have to get some laundry on while I can. Once the boarders get home, they always have a load or two of clothes to wash. Guess I better get to that now.

Have s super day, everyone. According to the a-hole this up surge in the virus is all Biden's fault, as he's allowing
millions of illegals to enter the country and spreading all over the country. Of course. We should have known that and not blame this jerk for doing such a wonderful job ... NOT! Stay safe and do what we all need to do- wear your mask and wash your hands! :)

SERVICE MAN was here right at 11:00 a.m. Came to the door and asked if I wanted him to wear a mask and I "sheepishly" said yes. I handed him a FRESH NEW one out the pkg by the door so he wouldn't have to go back to his truck. And YES, I put mine on before he walked into the house! Whew!
He adjusted the rollers on the screen and the big heavy door.

TIP OF THE DAY: He said to only use PLEDGE furniture spray on the track. NO WD-20! It's not good for the doors, tracks anything! Said I could use the Pledge 2 times a year and all should be good.
The screen now rolls like I feel it should.
Really nice fella. Said just call if I need any service on the door or screen! It's covered in the warranty.

PAT: You need to try and faithfully GRAB something from the FREEZER at least 3 times a week to thaw out and make for dinner. Time to see just what's in there and use it up or pitch it.
I know you don't have a handy dandy FoodSaver vacuum machine so you might have some freezer burn stuff that's just taking up space in the back area. I know I use to have that on CHICKEN all the time. Hated it. There's like no way I could use freezer burned chicken. Okay, enough from me already.
Nice that Jimmy picked up the tab on the pizza. These days pizza is not cheap.
Now you have me wanting Homemade Pizza for dinner. I have all the fixings just need to whip together some dough!

By the way our Stuffed Pepper Soup last night was fantastic. Today I will put the rest in containers and stand it up in the basement freezer until they get hard and then I will VACUUM SEAL for future quick meals. I know Art would love to have some again tonight, but I'm not a big fan of leftovers! Had too much of that growing up at home.

Back to doing my bathrooms. I have learned to use a pointed stick with a rag on it to get to the corners so I don't have to bend down on my needs. The Swifter does a good job on the open areas, but corners and around the bottom of the toilet bowl it doesn't pass the grade. Amazing how you learn to ADAPT when you don't want to wreck you knee! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:
