Bellalago Belle
2nd Officer
Good morning!
Kathie - Know that we are all thinking of you and are sending prayers, as you get through the next few days. Are you and Manny still comparing your bee stings?
Bill & Rita - Have a safe flight and have a wonderful time in Aruba!
Karen - I saw on the news last night that both Ocala & Belleview had over an inch of rain yesterday. I guess you must have been in a pocket that the rain went around. We got a good dose of rain around 5:30 with lots of thunder. By 6:15 it was all gone and the sun was once again shining. We're supposed to have an even better chance of more rain today. I hope so, as our lawn is brown and getting crunchy when you walk on it.
Dave - I'm with you about the way some things are packaged, especially meds. The one that gets me is Imodium. You only use it when you have diarrhea and you want to take those pills asap. Trouble is that you have to actually cut the pills out of the packaging and then hope you cut the package enough to get the pills out. There should be a law against that!!
Lee - Say hello to Trader Joe for me. We haven't been to see him in well over 3 years! Just hasn't been any reason to head in that direction plus Aldi's carries very similar products that we use a lot of - like cheeses. That sounds like a very interesting Zoom meeting tonight. I hope Lu-Ann gets lots of good information from it.
It's going to be a relatively slow day around here today. I think the highlight of the day is going to be going over our wills, which haven't been updated in over 20 years! Time to make some changes, additions and subtractions for how life has changed since these were written.
Making jambalaya for dinner tonight. We haven't had that in ages and I'm just in the mood for it. Besides it's simple to make!!
Time to make some hard boiled eggs for our lunch today. Happy hump day, everyone!
