I blame it on reading all the things being miss placed or lost in this Bunny Hutch. It’s catchy.
We broke a temp RECORDS here today. 61F and Sunny, and windy. Next week is going to tough on everyone after a week so warm.
LEE: I was up early because NATURE CALLED! Nerve seems to have settled down. It’s NOT totally gone, but it doesn’t BITE like last week.
MIKE: You put the bug into me and I think we might get PIZZA tonight. There’s a Small Italian family owned restaurant that we were told has really good pizza. We have had pasta there many times, but now they have PIZZA and we’re going to give it a try. There’s a story behind his restaurant.
HERE’s your night time story for tonight.

The owner opened the restaurant years ago. At the time there was ANOTHER Italian restaurant just 1/2 Mile down the street. Well, it didn’t sit well having completion so close and the guy went over and waited until closing time and beat his “rival” with a BASEBALL BAT when was closing up the restaurant one night.
The beaten man barely survived and was in the hospital for months. The guy who beat him up ended up in JAIL AND LOST HIS BUSINESS. I guess you can say KARMA BEAT HIM UP.
THE PLACE WAS CLOSED DOWN FOR YEARS. The property finally got bought and remodeled and is a Seafood restaurant currently.

OKAY I need to post this and hope it works. It didn’t, but I managed to copy and paste it hear. DON’T ASK. HA HA.

Don’t worry Kathie. I had typed my early mornin’ note and seemingly forgot to hit post until 11:41! Indeed, as Jimmy Buffett sang “if we weren’t all crazy we would go insane”.

Once upon a time….

We went to the Italian restaurant and ordered the Pizza. WOW. The crust was great and the tomato pizza sauce they use was was sooo good. It cost us LESS to eat there than the Pancake Factory. ( which is just totally over-priced)!

Made a batch of Pecan Shortbread cookies that looked SO GOOD IN THE PICTURE! Well, they will be “just okay” for coffee or tea, but I won’t be making them again. Live and learn! Duh!

As they say in Serbian:

Welcome to Super Bowl Eve, Bunnies!

I'm beginning to think the NFL should cut Taylor Swift a check for all the attention she's given to football and the Super Bowl.

Got the phone call yesterday from my eye doctor telling me what time my Monday morning Cataract surgery will be.

Speaking of which; I talked with KC yesterday telling me what her experience with her cataract surgery was like. And no she hasn't been away because she ran away with a cowboy from Texas, nor did she take up a part time job as a palm-reader, nor did she get a tattoo of the Buffoon on her back. I just thought you Bunnies should know.

K2; Your cartoon sure looks like Jack, our Wiener-Dog. Ah yes...Back in the day when big malls were the place to shop and people watch. Now it seems that most shopping takes place on people's computers.

Mike; You and Kathi both could eat pizza every day. When we decided to get a lawn-guy, I ended up selling our riding mower to a nephew, but for some dumb reason I've still held onto our regular self-propelled mower.

Lee; With every year that passes you probably appreciate more having a smaller yard.

Good to know that you talked to Karen Dave. I know that you wished her well from all of the old gang who miss her. We’ll leave a light on for her.
Funny your observation about brick and mortar shopping malls. We did pop out to an outlet mall nearby yesterday. Total time spent in the mall was 34 minutes. That included looking in a couple of stores at their “outlet quality” sub standard things. It took us longer to get there and back.
All of you have a wonderful Saturday. If you’re out and about watch out for the possibly distracted Swifty Super Bowl shoppers.
I’m gonna try to remember to hit “post” this morning.

I do know when 5am is, Lee. It is one of the times during the night when I am up answering the call of nature.
We were up early today though not that early, and were off the ship and picking up the car by 8:30 and back in Vero about 11am.
Cruise was very nice but I think we were a bit spoiled by the Icon and Simphony seemed a bit more confining except in spots like the Solarium. This time though we had a wonderful handicap accessible balcony stateroom close to the elevator lobby. The room was extra large and we were able to keep both scooters inside and charge them overnight and still have plenty of room. While onboard we booked a cruise for next year and have the exact same room on Oasis.
The casino was pretty generous even on the last night of the cruise, which is usually when I give back whatever I might have won earlier in the cruise. I did better this time but while I was there, someone won $5,000 and another person won a little more than $2,000 on slot machines.
Today is our 56th wedding anniversary so I think a meal at the fabulous Ocean Grill in Vero is in order.

I haven't listened to too many of Swiftikes' songs but what I have heard I liked. I liked her when she was doing country and I enjoyed when she did a song on cats. I am keeping my lawn tractor, will ride it to t he garden or just ride it aroung the yard.

Lee, I like malls, unfortunatley all of the malls close to us have closed. Congrats, you hit post.
Nancy, I very seldom have plans but Fay makes up for my lazy days. Our son unexpectally dropped in this AM and Fay had him take her to Krogers.

Ya Mike, there are so many empty stores or “t-shirt shops” in malls you wonder why they even bother to keep the doors open. I do remember when Ms. Swift got most of her air play on country stations.
Lunch today was at BurgerFi. We can split a burger, onion rings and super huge “only size we sell” soda. Even doing that it’s a crisp Andrew Jackson out of the wallet!

Fertile Myrtle gave birth to baby #8 yesterday. A girl who's name will begin with the letter L. (The males she gives birth to always start with the letter J, and the females begin with the letter L.) Are she and her hubby done trying to repopulate the earth? WHO KNOWS.

Mike; I like your idea of using your old riding mower for transportation around your property. Takes up a lot less room than a golf cart.

Lee; I too remember when Taylor Swift was almost strictly country. And when she shifted over to pop music a lot of people thought that would be the end of her career.

Yes K2, we will always keep the light on for KC. Great Lady. Kathi decided that we'll have pizza during the game today. I need to ask her what game she is talking about.

Good Super Bowl Sunday morning.
Bye this time tomorrow a lot of money will have changed hands, the biggest impact on water systems (the half time flush) will have happened, there will be smiles, tears and hangovers.
I have to admit that the pretzel crisps or tortillas chips and dip get broken out if Lu-Ann and I binge watch anything Mike. How many episodes in a row does it take to become a “binge”?
So, pizza for the game at your place Dave. The question begs to be asked…what toppings either during baking or added on later? Just in case I miss you in the morning buddy, I hope you’re in and out in no time having had a super successful procedure. And yes, as Kathie asked, please have Kathi keep us in the loop as to how you’re doing until you are comfortable enough to get back on the magic light box in person.
