SUCCESS! How fantastic for you DAVE! So happy that everything went well. Keep up with those drops Buddy! LIFE IS GOOD in Massillon!

Love the Video you posted about the
PACZKI. They're a MONEY MAKING thing over here all week, but especially TODAY! I had 1/2 of a Raspberry one yesterday. And yup, it was good.

Lee: Have fun at Mt Dora. Watch out for the Pin-Heads on the road!

I'm off to get my wedding ring cleaned at a Jeweler that is Serbian! It's run by the sons and daughter since the two brothers have passed away. They still do a great job, but I do miss the brothers that sold Art many special trinkets back in the day when he did his Christmas gift shopping. Those were the days. Now I have no interest in getting new jewelry. I'll just pass the items onto Jill and Ash. Ha Ha.

Okay, you all be good and have a safe fun day.

I actually saw a FLAKE or TWO of SNOW when I looked out this morning. We'll get some on Thursday. They call it "Winter MIX". Rain and Snow! YUK.

Good news Dave. I enjoyed the song Lee, never heard it before. Have fun at the Fat Tuesdau part Nancy. That was a lot in volved to get the pups Lee. Were they ever excited???? Both of our girls will be here this evening. Linda will be taking Fay to the heart doctor tomorrow.. You can keep those snow flakes in Michigan K2. Every one Have a good day.

Celebrated Shrove Tuesday, or as some designate it: Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) by getting an enormous pancake at First Watch- a nice start to the day which is bright and sunny and about 72degrees.
It was good to have two new NCIS shows to watch last night and both ended with a cliffhanger that will rope us in to watch again next Monday.
Folks back home are bracing for 4-8 inches of snow and from all the notifications being posted by utilities and local government agencies, you would think they were expecting the Storm of the Century. Of course it is easy for me to be critical when I am in warm, sunny FL.
Glad that your surgery went so well, and that you are so pleased with the results, Dave. You have pretty much
summarized my experience and my feelings about the results.
Lee, I remember being disappointed the last time we went to Ghirardelli's in Disney Springs and discovering that they no longer gave out a free sample, but it didn't stop us from enjoying one of the sundaes and buying their delicious candies. Even today I can't pass on purchasing some when I am in a store which has them.
With football season ended, will have to content ourselves with watching the Celtics as they continue their quest for another NBA title or the Bruins as they compete for the Stanley Cup.
Spring Training begins and we may quickly find out if the Red Sox can change gears and get back on the winning path. Last year was brutal

Good Wednesday morning Bunnies!

Hovering a little above and a little below freezing here today. But we're lucky that it'll be dry. No snow, no rain. I feel sorry for those who got a wet snow yesterday, because overnight it probably all turned into ice.

Still adjusting to my vision improvement. So much lighter and colorful. It took years and years to get so cloudy and blurry, and since it was so slow, I barely noticed the decline.

I couldn't tell you when, but it seems like Lent must be coming up. On the way to my check-up yesterday there were multiple churches with signs out front promoting their upcoming fish fries.

I liked the song you posted Lee. But to be honest, I couldn't have picked Harry Chapin out of a Police line-up.

Hot damn.......Jon Stewart is back on the "Daily Show" on Comedy Central. But only on Monday nights. (I make sure I have the TV set to record it.) That guy is the BEST at political comedy. Making fun of the things that happen on the right, left, Republican or Democrat. Everyone is fair game if they are doing dumb stuff.

Well, that's it from me this morning. Enjoy all the beautiful bright colors of life.

That gives him endless opportunities for new material Dave! I thought of your new visual clarity when I remembered a couple of the lines from Harry’s song. Hope the eye is continuing to improve.
A very Happy Valentine’s Day!
We get similar texts when a “potential for service disruptions” are in the forecast Bill. Somehow it doesn’t have the same effect as when we’re at home.
Hoping for a good report from Fay’s heart guy Mike.
Not much on tap today. I’m off for a haircut at 9:15. Funny that. A couple of years back I had a haircut here. I mentioned to our friend Eric that I needed a haircut and he told me about this great barber he goes to. Next thing I know he’s letting me know his guy can do my hair today. I get the address and name of the shop. Well, don’t ya know, it’s the same guy who is now at a different place in Davenport. Taking a tune from WDW, “It’s a small world after all.”

MT. aDORAble (see how I did that :)) really is an adorable little town Kathie. Some old Florida charm, lots of friendly folks and many pet friendly shops. I’m sure they have Walmart and name stores somewhere but not downtown. Everything is a Mom and Pop kinda place. Once we passed the turnpike exit on 429 there was hardly another vehicle on that stretch of road.
Best get my breakfast of yogurt and Plant City strawberries under way. Then, like when you tidy for the housekeeper, I have to get a shower and wash my hair.
Have a great midweek Wednesday.

To all my Wrabbits…Happy Valentines Day.

Dave: I too love Jon Stewart. Wis he was on everyday and earlier.
So glad you can see clearer. Will you get the other eye done?

Lee: You know it’s getting close to going back home when you’re getting a HAIR-Cut. Have a fun day with your Sweetheart.

Bill: Looks like you dodged some snowy weather back home. Be glad you’re in Florida.

I have nothing else right now. Have a fun day all!
Happy Valentines Day Karen! Miss you!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE.

We had a good time last night. Since they had two cakes they were able to invite a few more people. Once couple live on the next block and have been there for 20 years but we had never met them. Our next door neighbor and the man across the street from them got the babies.

Bruce is home today because he has to rearrange his van so he can get 4 bags of cement in for a job he has.

Tonight is the real start of NASCAR, with qualifying for the front row and setting the starting lineup for tomorrow nights Duals.

All have a great day.

I guess it depends on who you talk to or exactly where in relation to Boston you live. Logan airport which is right on the water apparently only got .1inches of snow yesterday and on the part of the South Shore where we and our kids live, they got perhaps 3 inches- certainly not the blockbuster that they were told to expect. Some parts of the Cape did get the 7 or 8 inches predicted. Apparently the storm passed out to sea a bit lower than expected and some places in NY, CT and RI got a foot or more. Meanwhile we have to deal with sun, blue skies, and temperatures in the 70s. Oh the horrors!
Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Give your loved ones a big hug!

Waiting for the Ortho Dr to come into the room. X-Ray’s done. All feels good. Thank goodness for our low $10 buck co-pay on x-rays. They make their money on these things big time. I was just here 2 weeks ago.
Later gang. Hate to be on this thing when he walks in!

All better than expected with the x-rays Kathie?

Such a shame that Kansas had a nice VICTORY PARADE.... only to be over-shadowed by a mass shooting. It never stops. 1 dead and 10 or more in the hospital. It was at the end of the parade. If I was ever on the Winning Team I'd make sure to wear a bulletproof vest and they'd have to have a bulletproof shield around the entire float.
:(

Lee: X-Ray's look really good. Nice to see that Hardware so clearly in my knee. :emoticon 0115 inlove:

Actually looks a lot like this GIF picture I found! ;)

Might get some "WINTERY MIX" here in our area. And 25 mins to the WEST they will get nothing. Same for Monroe, MI area. So I'm thinking Windsor and A-Burg might get spared too.

Bill: Better lather on that Sunscreen if it gets any hotter down in your area! ;)

Paying some bills online and then off to watch the Mich State Univ Basketball game. Nothing on TV on Wednesday.

Have a good night all.

Good news with the bionic knee Kathie. They reckon we’ll get about an inch of snow. In Amherstburg of course. We have a couple of bills to pay on line too.
Another example of the outdated second amendment gone wrong.

Would you be a Dum-Dum or a Life Saver?

No tickets were handed out or people arrested.......But yesterday at a local high school a State Highway Patrolman looked inside each students car as they pulled into the schools parking lot.

If the driver's cell phone was visible and within reach of the driver they received a Dum-Dum lollypop. If their cell phone was out of sight and not in arm's length they received some Life Saver candy.

Quite clever.

Only you Lee would go on vacation and get involved in a construction project. But if you enjoyed doing it and it helped someone out, more power to you. I'm sure when you visit KC she'll be able to subcontract you out for lots of projects. :)

Oh wonderful K2; You've got me interested in a good TV show, (And one without commercials.), just as it's coming to an end. Peachy. GEESH, $24 for the 2 of you to see a movie at the theater. It's no wonder I never go to a movie theater. Plus the fact I can't hit pause when I need to go to the bathroom. Eye is still healing fine, and no, the dogs haven't noticed any difference in me. Even when I wear the eye guard for naps and regular sleeping.

Don't worry Mike, you'll find that picture of you standing in front of the Ted Williams statue when you are looking for something totally unrelated. That's the way it works for me.

Bill; That Valentine's Day GIANT meal you mentioned sounds like a week's worth of food to me.

Speaking of food, it's off to the grocery store for us this morning.

Good morning. Today is going to be another warm day and tomorrow a cool down.

The races last night were like last years, first pretty calm, second was going good when a driver decided to do a stupid move and wrecked 10 to 13 cars, most of the field. Today all three series are on track with tonight being the truck race.

In a bit I have to go to the store for a few things.

All have a great day.

DAVE, I just have to say I look forward to opening up our HUTCH every morning knowing you'll have a fun and interesting post waiting for us all. I just wanted you to know that
you make my day! Thanks! And to think you do it at around 4'Clock in the A.M. is even more amazing. THANKS!
More and more of the shows we watch are ALREADY going into re-runs. Just seems too early for that to be happening. I'm going to look into how much it costs to get a PBS "Passport" and see just what kind of series are offered and if they let you see them from the very beginning. There are many other series that I would like to watch from PBS, but I need to do some research on the cost of membership. I'd rather give to PBS and get some good TV watching than go to the local movie theater for what they're asking for 1 movie.

Can't wait to read if you threw something "odd" or "interesting" into the grocery basket during your visit.

Lee: So how did the project go? What's on tap for today and the weekend for you
and Lu-Ann? Are you planning on stopping by Karen's on the way back home in March? At least the TEMPS are finally getting much warmer for you guys. Sunny and bright here today.

Negc: It seems like it's about time for you and Rita to be CRUSING somewhere! Ha Ha. It's been over a week or more since your last cruise. Any thoughts of going to a local Casino, if there are any in Vero?

Karen: REALLY........I think you need to get back to the Hutch, if only to say HELLO! I miss you girl! Hope all is going good with your sisters, kitties and church life. Have a good weekend.

Out of here for now. My tea is waiting for me and a nice English Muffin to go with it.

I'm glad that Dave commented on my post about the $79.95 meal at the airport restaurant and all the food that was included, because I can no longer see it on this thread. Strange.
Slept in especially late today, perhaps because I slept so poorly the night before, but now, I feel considerably more rested and ready to take on a hard day of relaxing.
No cruises in our immediate future, K2 but we do have one booked for this
Fall which will leave Boston, visit Bermuda, Aruba and Curaçao and end in Ft. Lauderdale and back to back sailings in 2025 from Boston to San Juan and then to a couple of ports in the Caribbean. Hope we aren't being overly optimistic about still being able to cruise at that point.
Got that much needed haircut yesterday so I feel, and probably look, a bit more human today. Now that CBS has begun showing new episodes of its various programs, isn't it about time for NBC to start doing the same? Tired of seeing their
repeats and the delay is likely to hurt them as audiences begin watching CBS and become addicted to its programs.
No chocolate for me,Lee?:-<
Speaking of which, we tried the new Reese's peanut butter cups with caramel and decided that we still prefer the original ones with just chocolate and peanut butter. The addition of caramel just seemed to make them a bit too sweet for our taste. YMMV

LEE: What “Sweetie” buying a Choc for me! I give you permission to enjoy it for me!
Hope you two are having a good day!

Jill and Mark are flying out for a few days out on the Gulf of Florida tomorrow. Bummer that it will be raining off & on for a couple of days. They both just needed to get away. Manny will be in charge of watching the two adult grandkids! Ha ha. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

I got ALL the Plantation Shutters dusted off and then washed off. Not a bad job. The sun can shine now and I won’t see dust on them for a while.
Later gang.

Looks like they will be getting a lot of rain and temperatures in the low 60s, K2 but it will still be better than what they left behind in MI.
Here, today, it is a very comfortable 76 degrees- just perfect for sitting outside and catching up on my reading.
There are several arcades in the area that have slot machines but the nearest true casino is about an hour or more drive away in Brighton near Lake Okeechobee. At least some of those arcades appear to have closed since last year so I think that many were far less successful than the owners expected them to be.
Just checked the movies currently showing at the local AMC theater complex and there was nothing that I would care to see, so I guess we are limited to watching TV as our entertainment source. At least Blue Bloods will be new tonight.
