All the arcades have closed as they were not legal. Her in St Lucie county a few have tried to reopen and they have all been shut down and the owners and manager have all been arrested.

Went to our Nephew's Bar and had the best Perch Dinner while sitting at the BAR! Gotta love being one of the regulars throwing back a Bud-Lite! Ha Ha. Nephew always TRIES to pay our bill and I told him that "we're here to support your new venture and not to put you in the poorhouse". He's a good guy for trying.
Bill: Yup, I saw that it's suppose to be raining the next couple of days. I'm sure the kids will find something to do at an inside venue. There's always the HUGE aquarium.

We had a SKUNK that must have decided to UNLOAD somewhere in the backyard close to the house. I had to put the ceiling fan on here in the family room where I fell asleep on the couch watching a late show! I even opened the back door to the yard to verify the horrific smell. YUP … it was a Skunk.
And I bet both Tony and BB are laughing their heads off over this post. Damn, I miss them both so much!

Nothing odd or interesting jumped into our grocery cart yesterday, K2. We apparently didn't apply ourselves. Gobs of Valentines day candy was selling for 1/2 price. Gotta make room for those chocolate bunnies.

Good morning. For us today will mainly be sunny with rain coming in late afternoon. And tomorrow is supposed to be rain all day.
Because of the rain to be in Daytona NASCAR moved the ARCA race from today to last night after the truck race, they will be showing it at 1:30 this afternoon. Not sure if they will be able to race the Xfinity race today or not.

Kathy, your skunk story made me chuckle, only a city girl would need to open the back door to see if the smell was a skunk or not.

Lee, the state of Florida really needs to add you to the Christmas card list in Thanks for all the $$$ you pump into our economy during your visit!
Bill, that is great news that Kevin doesn't need surgery! I have a feeling he won't be planning any more jet ski rides though.
Spent the last couple weeks trying to get caught up on projects around here & at my sisters, only problem with that is it seems like as soon as one project is done another one pops up that I didn't plan on. I did finally get Jane's huge overgrown Crepe Myrtle tree trimmed back. It had never been trimmed & was starting to grow into the power & cable lines than run into her house. I still have a few more base trunks to take down as there are about 35-30 of them instead of the 1-3 there should be. But at least for that I won't be reaching over my head with the electric chain saw.
Lent has arrived & church activities are in full swing! We did have to cancel choir practice & Sunday morning choir for a couple weeks due to illness. 7 of the 15 choir members were sick, some with covid & a couple with flu like symptoms. We did manage to put together a short song for the Ash Wednesday service with 6 of us able to sing.
And that's about it from gloomy Belleview! My friend Connie from Deltona was planning to come for a visit this weekend, but with the bad weather predicted she decided it wasn't a good idea. She was going to be driving by herself thru country back roads so I don't really blame her. Of course as of now (11:30) we've barely had a sprinkle, but you just never know.

Kevin's jet ski days are definitely over and I suspect that after what happened to his dad, it will be quite a while before Brandon gets on one again. Sorry to hear about the outbreak of sickness among your choir members. Seems that covid is raising its ugly head again which is not something we are pleased to hear.

We got about 3 inches of snow after midnight last night and it was supposed to quit snowing after midnight. Fairfield was on top of things and all of the roads are clear. It is supposed to get pretty cold here the next 4 or 5 days then get up inito the 60s. I can live with that. Ir really doesn't make much difference, I dont stick ny nose out the door when it gets cold.

Our neighbor 3 doors away has a huge deck and it has a few areas that the skirting has openings and I bet he had all kinds of Critters living under there! Our lawn man lives on the other side if the creek facing that house and had seen Ground Hogs going in and out.
Feel bad about all the rain Florida is getting. If it makes you feel any better Lee…. it’s 14F Real Feel here tonight.

Good morning. Well it has been raining but not real hard and so far we have 3/4 inch and of course it is to rain all day.
They have already called the Daytona 500 for today, it will run tomorrow at 4. So the Xfinity race is at 11 am , so we will have a full day of racing.

Lee: I do have to agree with you about the families dumping THOUSANDS of dollars to see Disney this week and walking around in the chilly rain. Spring break time is starting in most school systems and not sure you could convince your kids to skip going to Disney if it's been planned for over a year. Hoping by Monday things get drier.

What's a day without a revelation from the EX-Pres. Now he's got a GoFund Me acct that is racking up money by the minute. Some woman started it and you can't believe how much money some folks are dumping into it. The funny thing is that nowhere does it say that she is really donating it to him. Hard to believe GoFund Me allows these kind of posts. I guess there are enough Minon's in the USA that kiss his feet and love him. I did get a hoot out of all the Michiganders that were lined up OUTSIDE for HOURS in the OPEN FREEZING 14F degree and lower weather yesterday in Waterford, MI to see him. When they opened up the venue (a AIRCRAFT MEDAL HANGER without HEAT) they all piled into it and were still freezing. Trump had GLOVES on during the entire rally. CRAZY NUTS people.

I think you and PT Barnum underestimated the number and the frequency, Mike. Hard to believe that there are so many who have drunk his KoolAid. He has made Jim Jones look like a piker.
As Nancy has reported, the rains have arrived and while it isn't raining hard at the moment, it is constant so I see no reason to be venturing out of doors today. Gray and gloomy are the words of the day.
Gas prices continue on their rollercoaster ride locally and one station which was charging $3.29 a gallon a week ago is now posting a price of $3.19 while less than a mile away on the same road, two stations show prices of $3.24 and $3.34. All are major brands. Meanwhile back home, the price at our favorite station is $2.82. No rhyme or reason.
