Fall Back Good Morning GIF by Hello All

Doing it EARLY. Ha Ha. Just can't think of getting up in the middle of the night to set the CLOCKS BACK!

Now.......Which clock around the house or car do I believe has the right time? It makes you wonder how many doctor's, dentist's, or any other kind of appointments will be missed this coming week.

Hiya KC! Are we getting our prayers at your church for this week?

Looking forward to hearing which pup and why that wart was removed, Lee. With all the fancy modern gadgets at your Subaru dealership, I wonder if like in NASCAR they penalize you for coming into the garage at too fast a speed. :)

The quality control department at your house Mike needs some work if you only tested one piece of the Halloween candy. Good to hear that you are keeping up to date on your vaccinations.

K2; And the question is, Did you get your Bloody Mary when dining with friends?

When I first heard that lots of people feel stress over the election, I blew it off. What's the big deal? And now that it's only a couple of days away, and I see and hear how unstable the Buffoon is acting, I'm beginning to feel the stress. Just how much damage could one nutcase President do if he set his scrambled mind to it?? He sure enjoyed breaking treaties and agreements with our allies the first time he was in the oval office. Along with breaking laws and ignoring decency.

Good morning! I swear I am starting to feel like one of those hamsters on a wheel that just keeps running & running & going no where!

Dave, for sure will remember us all in prayers at church! To me the only thing scarier than Trump as president are the people who insist & honestly believe he was a GREAT president!

Kathie, how neat running into your neighbors at the bar, 2 bloody mary's in one week? You go girl! Never been a fan of them myself, mainly cause I don't like tomato juice.

Lee, now that is a pretty high tech dealership, that's probably why they can't stock better coffee in the waiting room, they spent all the budget on "gadgets". :D

Mike, nice that Michael was able to help Fay pull the last of the tomato plants, I wonder why they lose their flavor so late in the season? Not a fan of dark chocolate I prefer Milk or white chocolate

Today is All Saints Sunday at church & last Wed. after the service we hung about 300 paper crosses that people had decorated for loved ones who had passed, looks pretty neat to walk in & see them all.
This afternoon one of my friends at Church is being ordained as a deacon, choir is signing for this service too so we have to be back at church at 2:30 to rehearse with some choir members from the church she did her deacon in training service at. After that is a reception, I signed up for chicken salad & after church will put 24 mini sliders together. Pam is coming over for lunch since she lives about 30 mins from church & we have to be back so early, made a dish of lasagna for that, so everything is pretty much done.
Starting Monday they are setting up for our church rummage sale which will be Fri & Sat. I will try to pop in to help a couple days but I'm not going to be there all day every day. And that's the reader's digest version of my week, except for my new microwave bit the dust too! I'm thinking it may be a problem with the plug I'm using as the microwave got VERY HOT on the outside, to hot to even touch. When I opened the door to stop it the whole thing just shut down, no power at all. When I get the next one I will move it to another spot on the counter until I can get an electric an out to check the plug & the line, Always Something!

Good Sunday Morning Wrabbits.

Karen: You should wait until you get that plug/switch (whatever they call it) checked before BLOWING another Microwave. Better to be safe than sorry.
Thanks for the prayers. I skipped church today.
You've turned into a regular "on the spot COOK" lately. I see your grocery bill going up girl. :crazy01:

And YES, George and Marie POPPED for my Bloody Mary. They had an Arnold Palmer. Look that one up if you don't know what's in it! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:
iced tea drinks GIF

I made us a German Pancake for breakfast w/Bacon. Cleaned up the kitchen and NOW I'm off to Shampoo the Family Room and hallway carpeting. Just feel like it needs a tad bit of shampooing!
I'll get the bedrooms next week.

You all have a good day. 52F here right now and it might get warmer in a few days.

Hmmm. Kathie skipping church! Then TWO Bloody Mary’s in one week!! We all may need to head to Michigan for an intervention! Will drinks be served?
Yes Karen, it sure sounds like you’re on the hamster wheel this past week! Aren’t you glad you had an extra hour to spread out your tasks. Yes, for sure please get that receptacle checked!
We still have a planter that should have been gone long ago Mike. But even this morning the plants are blooming and going strong.
I guess with Subie’s being all wheel drive it makes sense to be able to easily check alignment every time you get service Dave. The unit is right inside the service reception bays. The door opens so you really can’t scream in over the sensors. I sent you a note about our pup with the wart.
We got our flu shots this morning. Appointment was for 9:35. We were done and back in the car at 9:45 after, as Dave would say, milling about smartly for the required 15 minutes.
Time to head to the treadmill.
Everyone have a fantastic rest of your Sunday.

Kathie, I won't plug the new microwave into the same plug I will put it on a different counter & plug. It's likely to be months before I have time to call an electrician and I can't be without a microwave that long.
The count I heard this evening was 160 people in church for Colleens ordination, and I'm betting that was just people who signed the guest book, not including the choir which was 25 people today. It was crowded but it sure was nice having a lot of extra singers to help with the songs.
Only 7 pm & it sure feels later, have a great evening all!

TV Karen: How nice that your church was full for the special service. Wouldn’t it be nice if it was like that for all services. :emoticon 0100 smile:
Not only on Christmas & Easter! Seems to be like that in a lot of churches.

Well Wrabbits, “E” day is almost upon us. Never in all the years I have been voting have I been SO VERY NERVOUS about the outcome of an an election. It’s a good thing I’m on Blood Pressure pills. :emoticon 0104 surprised:
And to think I’m going for my ANNUAL PHYSICAL on Monday, the day before the elections. Glad we both did EARLY VOTING and we don’t have to worry about long lines or any kind of trouble. Whew!

So glad I took the time to rip this Family Room apart and shampoo the carpet. Looks nice and FRESH! I need to do the hallway and bedrooms next. Amazing how dirty the water was. :sleepy smile::shrug:

The Quartz man is suppose to come and measure Art’s bathroom for a new counter on Thurs. I found a sink that will look good in I’ll I’ll pool I’ll look. It’s a rectangle shape. He currently has a black sink and thinks he’s getting another round fix l no eep round sink now and he thinks he’s getting another round one in a cream color (Biscuit) just not round. Surprises are always fun in these projects. Still working on paint color.
The cabinets are a brown gold color and will be painted a light gray color to try to match up with the rest of the house. At least the glass shower doors the floor and toilet and light fixture and faucets are STAYING the same. Whew! t gas ageLess running around.

Got that new microwave yet, KC? Hope the new one is a lot quieter. It is amazing how dependent on those things we've become. Quite the crowd you had at church yesterday.

Lee; Glad to see that you too are keeping up with your vaccinations. None of those vaccinations can guarantee you won't get the disease they are designed to prevent, but if you do get the illness you've got a damn good chance of NOT going into a hospital or croaking.

With all your house cleaning K2, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval" hanging by your front door. "I found a sink that will look good in I’ll I’ll pool I’ll look." ???

Mike with winter coming and your home grown tomatoes being ended, will you still buy tomatoes at the grocery store?

Nothing planned for today. JUST wishing this election would be over SOONER.

Told ya Dave. Too many Bloody Mary’s for our Kathie! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: Tony would have been having a ball with that. And this one!

All kidding aside I hope you find the right solution for Art’s bathroom. Go ahead. If you don’t already have one get a comfort level toilet. We find the extra little height sure makes a difference.
What a great turn out for Colleen’s ordination Karen. I’m sure your church felt full of joy with so many parishioners there to support her and to raise their voices in song.
We’re expecting to see the low to mid 70’s today here Mike. I can’t imagine how warm you could get.
I got to thinking. And that’s always dangerous... Refrigerator, oven, microwave. Of the three which two could I do without?
57F here now. Ava and I got part way around our early walk and it started to rain. We double timed it back home. Two days ago it felt like 32F.
There are a lot of people in the world watching tomorrow’s results very carefully. We have friends who, in light of the already sinking CDN dollar against its US counterpart are already thinking twice about cancelling their winter in Florida. Depending which way the vote goes will likely decide it for them. And I’m sure it’s the same for others. I’m so glad we deal directly with Sunshine in CDN dollars.
All of you have a fantastic Monday.

Happy Monday Morning GIF by Lucas and Friends by RV AppStudios
Enjoy the day Wrabbits!

Not sure what was with all the ERRORS in my previous post. I did get a laugh out of the fact it could have been too many Bloody Mary's! Ha ha. (I wish) And YUP, Tony would have put in his 2 cents about those mistakes for sure.

I have nothing for you folks this morning.
After my Annual Physical today I'm driving over to see Manny. He's going to be surprised. His family is ALL working outside of the house today and he'll be home for the first time in a long time with nobody around. Ashley said she would come home for lunch to let him out and I just couldn't resist going over to spoil the little guy.

ONE MORE DAY and we find out our FATE for 4 more years. Lordy it's never been this stressful of an election EVER.

Oh Kathie, you have such a good sense of humour and attitude with all of the typos. I sometimes think that it’s the ghost of Rutie taking over our keyboards. Have fun with Manny.
Why yes, we are crazy. We went to Costco after The Navy Yard. Every time I go there l long for the good old Covid days of one way aisles and proper spacing. That place is just a zoo! It seems to bring out the worst in people.
Enjoy this Monday.

Good afternoon!

Kathie, you really outdid your self on your last post, usually I can pretty much figure out what you are trying to say, that one is in a class by it's self, sink shopping after to many Bloody Mary's can be expensive! Hope your Dr. visit went well!

Dave, no new microwave yet, I'm going to take the last one I bought back tomorrow & probably get a new one either then or Wednesday. It's a pain not having a working one for sure!

Lee, I have a Sam's club & BJ's membership & about the only thing I use either one for is to put gas in the truck, both places are generally .05 or more cents a gal. cheaper than the other gas stations. On the rare occasions I do venture inside the shopping trips don't last very long.

Next weekend is the church rummage sale which means this week is taking in donations, sorting, folding & hanging them. I went over around noon today & worked till 3, would have stayed a little later but the only person with a key to lock up had to leave by 3 for a Dr. appt. My back was glad I didn't stay longer.
From the look of the 2 church fridges not as many people stayed for the reception last night as expected. My 2 platters of chicken salad sandwiches were still there along with at least 3-4 others & bowls of potato & macaroni salad. We ate some of the leftovers today, but I'm afraid the majority is going to end up getting tossed, such a shame.
Tomorrow I have an appt. with my eye Dr. I had been trying to hold off going until my appt. in January but I am really having trouble reading lately. Trying to read the music in my hymn book is hard & I can't make out the words on the big screens hardly anymore either. Hopefully it's just my prescription needs tweaking. Barb is going to drive me since he will most likely want to dilatate my eyes & I don't trust myself to drive home after that.
Now I think it's time to pour a glass of wine, put my feet up & relax a bit!

I enjoyed every ones post but I don'e thave my regurlar glassed and I cant tell if I am makikng a lot of mistakes.
Are you using an extention cord Kc, if so that could be the problem.
Lee, I could do with out all 3 ot t hem but I think Fay would have a lot of problems. II don't care for warm or cool, I like for the most part hot or cold.
Daave, Fay will eat the store tomatoes but I won't, They may be good now but I quit eating thenn years agi,
I would guess K2 and Kc don't feel any pain when they go to the dentist after their wing and bloody mary's

We were going to pick up my regular glasses today but Fay didin't feel gooe so we didn't go. I don't drive any moer. Hopefully we will go tomarrow.

Quick check in before I go to bed.

Dr Appt went just as expected. Went through the Blood test results, asked all the usual dumb questions, had me remember "3 words" and then asked me what they were later, (yes I passed) checked my breathing, listened to my heart, looked in my ears and mouth, checked my thyroid and gave me a refill prescription for 2 meds and a thyroid scan to be done and I was on my way. Missed doing a lot of the things my former doctor used to do.

I went to see Manny and he gave me all kinds of puppy kisses. We played, went for a walk and played more and then I was off to come home.

On the way home I stopped at the DO IT YOURSELF Car Wash and clipped a throw rug that doesn't fit in the washing machine and HIGH POWER WASHED IT. Then I went over my car to get the dust off of it.

Stopped and got us a carry-out Pizza for dinner.

Put the dripping wet throw rug over a small step ladder/stool so it can drip off all the water.

Also, earlier I put the furniture back in the family room and changed the bed sheets, etc.

I felt like I was "KAREN" instead of "KATHIE" doing all this today. I just put some CBD cream on my sore back! Ha Ha.

FINALLY, it's Erection Day! Sorry.......That's a completely different day. :)

FINALLY, it's Election Day! Even after the counting is all done, it still may be days before it's officially announced who won the Presidency.

And right now hundreds of lawyers are rubbing their hands together trying to figure out a way to make a buck out of the election. Heck, already there's over 200 lawsuits filed, and the election isn't over yet.

"Refrigerator, oven, microwave. Of the three which two could I do without?" Well Lee, I'd have to hold onto having a refrigerator.

So nice to hear that you had fun with your Grand-Doggy, K2. And what did you take him this time?

Lots of luck at the church's rummage sale KC. I tend to look at a rummage sale as the same as a yard sale except it's inside a building. You sound like me when it comes to leftovers. I detest throwing out food. Yup, it sounds like you need some new glasses.

Mike; In your neck of the woods, do they still hold elections at any schools? Around here they always used school gymnasiums for people to vote in. But a few years ago, with all the school shootings, they moved it to other large buildings. I can't think of a single school now that has elections at it.

63F here this November 5 morning. That’s just down right unseasonable. But I’ll take it.
I smile when some places call their rummage or yard sales “bend down sales” Karen. If they don’t have enough tables everything goes neatly on the floor or ground. You have to “bend down” to look at the goods. I bet a nearby “soup kitchen” would love all that food that could be headed to the bin.
You sure did have a busy day Kathie. I bet it just flew by. When they asked me the three word memory test I couldn’t resist asking “which three words?” It was at that moment they ordered a colonoscopy for me because I was being such a smart @SS. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:
Store bought tomatoes just can’t compare with beautiful fresh home grown ones Mike. Those store ones just don't have the flavour.

It is a day Dave which I think the whole world is waiting with baited breath to see what the outcome of the erection election (you started it!) will bring.
My appliance of choice, considering where we live, would be the oven. I could cook, bake, boil water and so on. Without a refrigerator I could shop daily for food and perishables which I could store short term in a cooler if need be. A microwave is a convenience we all have but really don’t need. If I lived in, say, Florida I would have opted for a refrigerator. I could always get a top notch grille to do all my cooking year round.
Off to Jim’s basement. Today SHOULD finish off the drywall. Except the storage area where the electrician needs to come back and run a couple of lines.
Have as good a day as you all can.

“Erections”! Too funny. You guys sound like you’re really getting excited for the results to come in tonight, tomorrow, or next month!:D

I drove over to our school to see just how the parking lot looked. It had more cars than usual for a voting day. A steady flow of people coming and going.
Even a Sheriffs car parked off to the side, but very visible. Nice touch on the townships part!

I tried to rake leaves earlier this morning. What a joke. With the HIGH GUSTS of WIND it was laughable. I got 3 full bags and about 3 more bags went flying down the street. I laughed out loud a few times!

I HAVE NOT put the TV or RADIO on all day. Just couldn’t handle listening to speculation for hours unpin hours.

Karen have fun at your Rummage Sale. Make sure to take a COUPLE of Tylenol pills as you leave your house! It might help ease “back pain”.
Good idea to get your eyes checked. Hope it’s a quick fix.

2:00 pm Nov 5th and 73 F. :adoration::clap002:

Dinner tomorrow at my Brothers house. I’m bringing an Apple dessert!

Later gang. Gotta make some POPCORN for the LATE SHIW tonight!

Mike: Hope that Fay is feeling better.

A’Burg Guy

Environmental Compliance Officer
Yes Mike. How is Fay? There was a big space between your line about you glasses and Fay. I didn’t scroll far enough.
I bet if you had known the wind would blow the leaves down the street you could have just raked them to the curb Kathie. I really liked the turkey recipe you shared with Lu-Ann. I think they’d be great if we were hosting games day close to Christmas.
I’m trying not to watch any news today either. Oddly enough what happens a mile across the river does impact us. We can’t do anything about today so we’ll hope Wednesday morning starts with a good news.
After The Navy Yard we made a trip to the grocery store to pick up the stuff Costco and our other grocery store didn’t have. That after a productive morning at Jim’s.
Me, I’m gonna finish my coffee and hit the treadmill. There’s 30 minutes and 2 1/2 km down there with my name on them!
Enjoy the weather on this amazing November day!

Quick check in as my eyes are still pretty dilated & it's hard to see with this bright screen. No change in glasses for me, the Dr. said the film on the lens they put in for the cataract surgery is cloudy & I will need to have it lasered. I knew when the tech was doing the eye chart something was going on as I could barely read the biggest letters with my left eye. It's weird to me that one is so bad & it was the one I had done 2 yrs ago. I have an appt. Nov. 10th with the Dr. who does the laser surgery & see what happens then.

STill NICE outside! Loving it!

Lee: Glad you got the recipe. Your secretary, Lu-Ann, does a nice job of passing on my notes!
And I can assure you that a GOOD PORTION of the leaves I was blowing off the lawn did scatter all down the street with every Wind Gust. It's still WINDY outside.
Sure am glad it's NOT RAINING and COLD. I think we'll get a HIGHER than normal turnout of voters because of the nice weather.

Karen: Good to know the problem with the eyesight is fixable. Just NOT SOON enough for you. Hard to sing if you can't see the words! I'm sure you'll do the best you can.

I still haven't turned on the TV to any NEWS channels. Total waste of my time to listen to all those newscasters CHATTER about nothing. Things will get better by midnight. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile::eek: Hopefully.
