Good Morning, as usual my plans to return yesterday afternoon went astray

Dave, more computer issues this morning? It speaks volumes about the good relationship you have with the 2 older grandsons, teens in general usually shy away from talking to adults and autism adds a whole new meaning to the "awkward teen" phase. Kudo's to you & Kathi!

Kathie, glad you enjoyed the music, since they have the new live stream set up there have been issues with the sound. One week Rev. Lisa went back & edited ALL the music out of the live stream it was so bad. As with all things techno related it takes time to get all the kinks out.

Lee, sorry you weren't able to fix the legs on your sign, I know a person on your route to Florida who likes to tinker with broke stuff & is always up for a challenge. I am working on a light up pumpkin for Jane. It was a big plastic pumpkin shaped container that we bought at Sam's club with packs of pretzels in it for halloween years ago. She tried selling it at the yard sale this weekend with no luck, so I have sprayed the inside of it with orange spray paint & then I'll paint a face on the outside & put a small solar light thru the plastic lid and she'll have a cool solar Halloween Pumpkin

Mike, I'm hoping the board agrees with all the people who set up Sat. & sold nothing and moves the sale to the Spring. Either way I'm not sitting outside freezing again for a yard sale.

Last night Pat, Pamela & I went to a play in Dell Web, a big retirement community near us. One of the guys in the choir was the director and tickets were a whopping $5. The play was Miracle on 34th street & was done as an old time radio show. There was quite a good size crowd and a nice turn out of folks from St. Mary's to show their support.
Today I'm going over to Jane's to put out a few Christmas decorations for her & then maybe come home & make cut out Christmas cookies. I was planning to do treat bags for the choir but I think I'm running out of time so I may just take a platter of cookies & call it good. There's always next year. Now it's time for more coffee & the last 2 pumpkin muffins, we didn't eat any Sat. as Barb brought us Burger King croissant sandwiches
Supposed to be back up in the 70's here this week!

Fr Dave must be sleeping in..... or his computer is on the fritz again.

Lee: Can you see who is at your door when you're in Florida on your phone?
Jill is able to see her house and driveway and can see if Mr Manny is in the upstairs window or in the Bay window downstairs. Also, gets the normal alerts of somebody in the area.

Okay folks.......today Art and I will attempt to take down the big mirror in his bathroom. :oops:
He's worked hard on getting the faucet disconnected and we just want to be ahead of the new counter install due on Friday! I'm going to call over to the granite place and make sure they are REALLY coming on Friday. Doesn't hurt to let them know we disconnected the water, etc, etc and need this to be a sure go for Friday.

Right now I'm going to finish my coffee and start to make some Pecan Mini Tarts.

Drizzled around 8 a.m. and is just gloomy right now. Glad we got the leaves picked up yesterday.

By the way.........I think Lee & Lu-Ann should take the 20 mins to stop and visit Karen on the way down to Florida or on the way home. It's really close to the freeway. Depending on which freeway you use! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: Easy for me to suggest.......I'm not the one driving! Ha Ha

I agree Kathie, I could meet them at the exit, they could drop off the broken sign on the way down & pick it up on the way back! Heck, I'd even buy them a cup of coffee at Dunkin which is right there.

Yes, it would be good to meet up with Karen this year. But once I’m on the freeway I only stop when I get where I’m goin’. Or to pee.
I had tried to just tap the HoHoHo legs into the ground but they didn’t go as far as i’d like. The sign does have hangers so it’s now on the house and looks cute. Funny enough, there are two other HoHoHo signs in the neighbourhood and both of them are broken now too! That wind just snapped the cheap metal like nothing.
The doorbell camera transmits a signal to us wherever we are Kathie. Last year when our friends came to check on the house we were talking to them through the doorbell. It sounds a lot like “The Manny Cam“.

Going to make Pignoli Italian Pine Nut Cookies. Made with almond flour!

Glad the Shooter has been caught. Thanks to a McDonalds employee that was alert and called the police! Sure hope that person gets a reward!

Lee, lf I remember correctly the Ohio River flooded every spring. There would be a lot of snow in the hills that would melt. My sister's in -laws house would get flooded almost every spring or so it seemed like it. My son has a hookup and he can check his mail. If it is an electric gadget, he has it.
NEVER again will I set up for a December yard sale! I am with you.
Dave, I got into my laptop at the beginning and when I got to your Posts you were typing. I thought I would copy and paste it but eat supper first, when I came back you weren't typing. Don't confuse lil old me.:confused:

Procedure went well this morning, Barb was late picking me up so I was about 5 mins. late, but they still took me. Eyes are super dilatated still but I can SEE!!

Amazing how we all can SLOW DOWN on here when one of US is not doing well. Sure hope our FR DAVE gets the meds he needs and gets better soon.

Stopped in to check on Dave They have him on a bipap machine. Similar to cpap machine but stronger. Staying atleast another night
