Article from Cleveland Clinic on just what a Bipap machine is all about. INTERESTING READ.

It’s just not right signing on early and not seeing the wit, wisdom and antidotes from Dave. Keeping you in our thoughts for a quick recovery my friend.
A good article explaining the difference between the two machines Kathie. I wonder if Dave would consider - or insurance would go for the home version of either?
Lu-Ann baked x3 dozen of her AMAZING chocolate chip and maraschino cherry cookies. They are headed to the grey gals (and friends) annual Christmas cookie exchange today. In the interest of health and food safety we tried one. From each dozen.
Not much else from The Burg for now.
You all have a fantastic day!

Good Morning Wrabbits.

DAVE WE ARE ALL MISSING YOUR EARLY MORNING POSTS BIG TIME! More than that we hope you're feeling better this morning. Take care Kathi driving back and forth to the hospital. Give DAVE our LOVE & HUGS. He has to be missing his TREATS by now! :emoticon 0115 inlove:

Lee: Good move TESTING those cookies before letting them get out of the house. Hate to see all those ladies get sick from two sweet cookies! Ha Ha.

Karen: How are those EYES doing this morning. Can you see better yet?

Mike/Fay: Have you managed to stay away from the Kiffle lately? Or has Fay hidden them!

I need to return the "BELT" for the Carpet shampoo machine. They ordered the wrong size.
It's meant for the right side and we need the one for the left side. I took a picture of the area to be able to show the nice man what it looks like.

ALWAYS SOMETHING! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Out of here for now. Be good and have a good day.

36F degrees here right now. Tomorrow we'll be in the very LOW 20's. Brrrr.

A cool walk down by the water this morning. It was 34F but felt closer to 27F. The squirrels and Blue Jays sure were hungry today!
Gosh Kathie, what did we ever do before iPhones that let us take photos to show people exactly what part we need.
We picked up a bag of dog food for Ava. She needs special “sensitive tummy” food. A 16 pound bag was, everyone sitting down?, $116.55CDN. And we need two more bags to take to FL with us because she goes through a bag about every 6 weeks.
What is it you say Kathie? “Always Something”.

I don't know about you and Lu-Ann but it sounds like Ave will be well fed. If you two get hungry you can always sneak some of Ava'a food Lee.
That is very considerate of you Lee, testing all t he cookies, I'm sure Lu-Ann appreciates it.
Surprisingly K2, I haven't eaten any Kiffles since Fay has baked t hem. We have so many other sweets I never get around to them. Is that belt similar to a left handed monkkey wrench????
I hope you are feeling much better Dave and Kathi, take care of yourself.
Karen, hope your eyes are feeling okay.

Just stopping by to see if we have any news on Dave.
Ya Mike, Ava eats pretty well. But she needs that food for her tummy. Our one Greyhound, Katie, also needed the same special diet.
It’s so dull here the outdoor Christmas lights, on a photocell, just came on.

Well Kathie, I look at it two ways. At least you have a postal service. AND, it covered a lot of distance for the price of the postage. ;)

Let’s hope the old saying “No news is good news” applies to our Dave.
What in the heck is this slippery white stuff that’s all over the ground this morning? And the strong winds making it feel like 1F! That’s one degree Fahrenheit.
OGC’s are back to work today at Jim’s. We’ve been waiting on the electrician to finish the wiring in the storage room. Jim agreed early on to have the real trades show up when they could. That, along with other things, has sure caused this project to drag on.
I’ll be back later to check on everyone.
So, you all better be playing nice and having a simply fantastic Thursday.

Also checking in hoping to hear good news about our Dave.

Eyes are doing good, I have a few minor "floaters" but mostly when I am outside and they aren't that bad. Hopefully they will disappear after a while.
The Christmas season is kicking into high gear at St. Mary's, yesterday after church we went & visited 3 assisted living homes to take communion and sing Christmas carols. Met a nice man named Phil at one of the homes who joined us in singing. It just touches my heart to see the people there so grateful for a little attention.

Have an 8 meeting this morning to sell an old Christmas tree I had & then make a return to Walmart. Check back with you all later when I get home.

Thank you so much for your update Karen. I’m ashamed to say I forgot to ask you about how the results from your eye procedure were coming along. What a rewarding way to brighten folks days.

Lee, no worries, I think we all pretty much have Father Dave & Kathi on our minds these days. Have fun with the OGC gang!

Good morning.
Just checking for updates on DAVE!

Karen good to know your eyes are doing good. I think the floaters will float away in time!
Our choir is going to do so nursing home visits and singing too. Always a good feeling to do that.

Lee: Be careful with the OGC project! Don’t be pulling any muscles this close to your trip.
Soak in the tub when you get home.

Mike: Did you get any snow? We can still see the grass, so we got lucky.
SUNNY and 15 degrees outside. Brr.

Later gang.

Was able to talk to the doctor today. Dave is over pneumonia. I asked why they are still keeping him in ICU They are starting to give him the medications he was taking. Dont understand why they quit giving him his regular medications. He will have to stay atleast one day AFTER being moved to a regular room. :(

Thank you for the news on Dave, Kathi. You know that we’re thinking about both of you. Modern medicine does indeed work in mysterious ways.

KATHI we appreciate you coming on and filling us in on our buddy DAVE. Good to know he's getting better. Tell him we ALL send our BEST WISHES and miss his morning greetings.

Made 4 small Banana Nut breads from 3 very RIPE Bananas. House smells good. Hope they turn out as good.

Art went to the dentist this morning and our nice dentist did his magic on one of Art's back bottom teeth. Art still had some "dollars" left on the dental insurance and he was glad the dentist could get him in before the end of the year to use it up. NOT TO MENTION HIS TOOTH WILL APPRECIATE THE VISIT TOO! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

Okay, I'm off to sit down while the Banana bread bakes.

VERY WINDY outside. I used the Lawn blower to get rid of the Willow leaves blown on our deck and all the way around to the front door porch. Also, used it to blow away the light dusting of snow on the driveway. Worked good since there wasn't much there.

Later gang. LEE, hope your work day was a good one.

We get our new counter in Art's bathroom anytime between 8:00 am - 10:00 am. Praying it all goes good! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Kathi, thank you for taking the time to check in & give us an update on Dave! I'd sure be curious too for the reasons they took him off his regular meds. Keeping you both in my thoughts & prayers.

Add me to the list that appreciates you letting us know how Dave is doing Kathi I am glad he is over pnuemonia and hope he is feeling much better.
K2, we got some snow yesterday morning, just enough to see it on t he grass and someroof tops. By noon it was all melted. We will be too far south as usual to have a White Christmas. How did the banana bread turn out. I bet it is delicious.
Ahh, floaters, they amused me when I had boring classes in HS., watched them parade down then flip back up. I was very easily amused when I was in Plain geometer class. I hope the floaters go away Karen.
How many more hours to go before you will be in Fl. Lee.
We had a different day. Our granddaugher gave birth to a little girl early the morning. that makes 4 greatgranddaughters. So far not any great grandsons. Then our landline went out, no line in use so it was the telephone system's problem. I fooled around with it for a long time then realized the problem. A friefnd that Fay called said the same thing. The phones are working now. We do have a cell phone.
Have a good night's sleep

Good morning.
Sure hope we see our Dave back here soon. The weight of generally being the first to say good morning ia starting to weigh heavy upon my shoulders! It’s not easy being Dave. :)
Congrats on the arrival of your great granddaughter! To answer your question, roughly, about 507 hours and 53 minutes as I write this. Sometimes cell phones are handy to have.
Our work day was a productive one. We are at it again today as we figure one more day should finish Al of the drywall. Then the mud, tape and sand guy can come in, do his thing, and leave a fine snow like coating of dust throughout their home. You know, just in time for Christmas.
I had a couple of “come and go” floaters during my last eye test too Karen. The good doc said at that point they were nothing to worry about. Easy for him to say. They’re not his eyes.
I learned along time ago to carry and lift what I’m comfortable with Kathie. That’s because we don’t generally have fresh banana bread waiting for us. I hope yours was fantastic! I did come home and do a half hour on the treadmill (about 2.75 km).
Yesterday with the snow was the first time I’ve engaged “X Mode“ on The Subie for slick driving conditions. It sure seemed to add to the handling capabilities!
That’s about it for now. I’ll be back later on. Everyone, please have a good, safe day.
