Just lost a NICE POST! I bet Dave is laughing his butt off. He always said to type it out cut and paste.
I forgot to log in and when I went to do it I lost the post.

ALWAYS SOMETHING!
Look at it this way I saved you Wrabbits looking at 3 cartoon pics and a bunch of yaking!

No Kathie, I think that is more the speed our Karen moves at! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:
This morning we dropped off a couple of dog crate pads at the groomer who does Ava’s toes. They’re a nice couple of girls who do grooming part time and $10 nail trims once a month. When we were in last weekend I noticed they had a couple of large crates but no pads. We still had a couple of Greyhound sized pads. I asked if they might be interested and they said yes. Erika and Savannah were pleased (surprised) at the good condition they were in and that we had washed the covers yesterday. Then we dropped some old towels and vegetables (not old) off at Wings Rehab “Stuff a Cruiser” event. Wings is local and they take in all kinds of animals and birds that get injured in the wild.
Because you asked Mike, Dancing Queen by ABBA. An upbeat tune for all of us.

Nice "yakking" going on here today. This will be short & sweet I am tired to the bone. Carmen, Pamela, Cookie & I worked on the church grounds this morning for about 2-1/2 hours. We had a member pass away last week & the funeral will be April 12, Carmen was really upset with how unkempt the memorial garden area had gotten so that was our main focus today. There was fountain, bench's, arbors and granite markers that were covered in mold and just nasty looking. On regular building & grounds days the shrubs get trimmed in that area but no one had actually took a good look at the statues & other items. It looks a lot better now but being out in the
sun wore me out. I'm sure Carmen was exhausted as well she's still recovering from heart problems. I'm going to go tomorrow & pick up some flowers & mulch to plant in front of the parish hall where the reception will be held after the funeral mass, Cookie & I will plant those on Monday. That's all from me for today, will mention you all in my prayers tomorrow.
Oh, for those of you wondering who Cookie is, she is one of my friends from here in the Villas, she owns a home here but rents it out & lives nearby. She has been going to St. Mary's with Deb & I for over a year now

While all the kids in school were listening to heavy metal and hard rock I was listening to the crooners, the harmonizers and the great musicians like Boots. Thank you Mike.
For fear of stating the obvious Karen, if she’s a friend of yours she’s one smart Cookie. Now, all of you be careful out there in the sun.
A “Yard Yak”. I like that Kathie.
Have a great evening everyone.

Hi Gang!
Mike & Lee I loved both of your videos! Classics in my book!

Lee—- too funny on that “One Smart Cookie” comment. You’re still sharp as a tack to pick up on that. Ha ha.

I was able to unearth some rather important papers we were missing in our (mostly my) QUEST to get things in some type of order to make things as easy as possible on Jill when our “number is up” here on this crazy earth!
We must have discussed one issue for over 2 hours to make sure we BOTH understood the issue. Ended up in a draw! :emoticon 0140 rofl:
In the end we both were satisfied we got it right! Whew!
I told Artvthst my stress factor on getting things in order went down from the TOP of my head to my eyebrows for now!
It hasn’t been easy getting Art to understand ‘time moves on’ and isn’t waiting for us to have everything in order. He’s coming around. :emoticon 0122 itwasntme:
It all cuts into his daily Crossword puzzle, Sudko and reading the newspaper from front to back! Ha Ha.

Karen: I hope the parishioners all take the time to appreciate the hard work you girls have done around the memorial garden area.
You should have come home and jumped into a nice
Epsom Salt soak for your sore muscles! Thanks for any prayers for the Hutch! :emoticon 0152 heart:

Out of hear for now. I have the News on and it’s the usual DOOM & GLOOM. Sickening

Have a Excellent Sunday. :emoticon 0115 inlove:

Picking up on your “Gloom” comment Kathie, we are supposed to be in for rain off and on all day and possible thunder storms this afternoon. Hopefully we can fit in a walk between the rain drops.
Planning to make things easier for those left behind when our time on this earth is over is never an easy thing Kathie. Bless you and Art for trying to make it a tad easier for the kids and grandkids. Well now ain’t that a cheery topic for a Sunday morning!
This was always one of my favourite Burt Bacharach and Hal David songs. Perfect for this rainy day…

Lee......loved your video. I wonder if Art could do that bike riding trick of sticking your feet straight out behind you while going the hill! Fat chance! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

Like Lee said it's not going to be a sunny day today. I did see our local Rabbit in the yard this morning. Nice little fella except when he eats my flower plants!

You all make the best of your day. :emoticon 0115 inlove: Off to get a coffee.

Lee, enjoyed your song and video. I like the lilt of the song and it is great to dance to. I'lll probably be singing it in my mind all day. I think there is a chance for severe weather today.
K2 , I'll let the kids come in with a back hoe to clean up our basement.

We did manage a walk at The Navy Yard without getting any raindrops falling on our heads. Then we went to the track at the big rec center and walked for 40 minutes.
Glad everyone enjoyed the tune from that 1969 movie. How do I remember the lyrics and that scene but I don’t recall stuff from a week ago!
See you all tomorrow!

And so begins another work week. For us it’s just another Monday.
I have an appointment at the eye doctor this morning. I know my eyes have changed since my last visit. I mean, they’re still brown but I know I need new glasses. They’re so darned expensive and the eye place hates it when I just want to replace the lenses in perfectly good frames!
Then I have to take back a bag of dog food to the vet. Ava is on a prescription diet. At $130 for a bag that lasts about 5 - 6 weeks. Plus cans at $80 for a case of 12. About a 10 week supply. Anyway, with the threat of tariffs on US goods and not knowing what could be effected we tried to switch her to a non US made food. In this case, Royal Canin. We gradually added the new food to her diet over the past week and then on the weekend she developed some real tummy troubles. So, back to Purina EN we go. No matter what the cost may be. Fortunately the vet will take back the open bag with very little out of it.
Geez, that was long and boring if you don’t have fur kids, wasn’t it!
We’re at our high of 48F now and temps are headed down to the low 40’s. Crazy weather! I hope you all made it safe and sound through yesterday’s storms in FL, MI, OH and here in ON.
Have a great day everyone!

Good almost afternoon. Just stopping by to say HOWDY. I'll be back later. ON A MISSION right now with Art. (a good mission) No worries.

Enjoy the day.

Fay had a dentist appointment today, she had a tooth pulled and the dentist had a hard time getting it out.
I hope your mission went well K2/
Can you see a lot better Lee? I generally don't get new frames when I get new glasses but if I had the frames for a long time or go to a new optomitris ??? I'll get new frames also. I hope Ava's tummy problems will be taken care of.
We had tornado warnings last night, I think one set down not too far from here. We stayed in the cellar till the warnings were over.
Hope the rest of your day goes well.

My turn to check in, no major storms here yesterday, we did get some nice much needed rain.

Lee, sorry to hear Ava is having tummy trouble, that's a great vet that will take back the open bag!

Kathie, good luck on your mission, hope it's sucessful!

Mike, hope Fay doesn't have to much pain & discomfort after the tooth pulling, one of my last 4 I had pulled gave the dentist a really hard time. Glad you didn't have any damage from the nearby tornado.

Cookie, Pamela & I put down 6 bags of top soil, planted 2 flats of flowers & put down 8 bags of rubber mulch this morning, it still looked a little skimpy, so later this morning I went back to Walmart & picked up 8 more bags of mulch & half a flat of flowers. Put those down & it looks pretty good! I have one more area at church that I am going to put the rubber mulch down & then most of the flower beds will be done. The few that won't get done are ones that we trim the bushes regularly and the mulch would end up being raked out with the clippings.
Here's a couple pic's of my hard working helpers. Will try to get a couple pics of the finished beds, I forgot to do that when I was there this afternoon.

Still keeping an eye on Ava folks. Thanks for asking.
Good for you and Fay heading to the cellar Mike. Too many folks don’t take severe weather warnings seriously. Hopefully Fay’s jaw feels better soon!
That bed looks nice Karen. I liked the “action shot” of Pamela and Cookie. As long as dry food for has a minimal amount out of the bag (you really have only trialled it) the vet will take it back. Then if a client needs assistance, especially with expensive special diet foods, they will “donate” it to the family.
This is “Mission Control” Kathie. Hopefully your good mission involves fun!
I see “Young Doctor Kildare” passed over the weekend. RIP Richard Chamberlain.
Storm clouds on the horizon. Again…

A bright good morning to you all!
Why did the coffee file a police report on this April Fools' Day? It got mugged.
I am the culprit. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: Off for a coffee on this bright but cool start to morning that feels like 21F.
Have a beautiful day my friends.

Good morning from bright & sunny Belleview! Started off grey & foggy but the sun is starting to peak thru now.

Lee, hope Miss Ava is feeling better this morning!

Kathie, was yesterdays mission a success?

Mike, how is Fay feeling this morning?

Nothing much else to add this morning, have a couple errands to run & then get a few things done outside in my yard. Here are a couple pics of the finished flower beds at church.

Looks good Karen! I’m always amazed at, when first planted, gardens look like they have so much space. Then the plants grow, bloom and blossom and fill the area.
Ava still having a little tummy trouble. We’re baking a couple of chicken breasts that well mix with rice. Then we’ll add in some of her old brand of kibble to get her back on track. All because we were hoping to switch her to a non US based food that could be subjected to tariffs.
