I am sorry, but, I can't recall any drinking on previous Duck Cruises.

And I suppose the next thing you'll be trying to sell us is the fact that Jameson's is non-alcoholic, right? ::eek: ::eek: ::eek:

Mal's Niece placed third in the Semi-Professional division of the jousting tournament...great going, Sara! :thumb :thumb

Tomorrow....ooops, make that later today....is the trip to Atlantic City. If we hit a big jackpot, Ghirardelli's will be on us next year!
On the topic of drinking, is there an official Ducks drinking song?
None that I'm yet aware of, but I did find this ditty (one of several versions and the only one I can repeat :grin )...

If the ocean was whisky,
And I was a duck,
I'd dive to the bottom
To get one sweet suck.

But the ocean ain't whisky
And l ain't a duck,
So we'll round up the cattle
And then we'll get drunk.

Good Sunday afternoon, Duck Crew.

The latest I heard from Judi (last night) was that some winnings were eaten up by a longer stay in Atlantic City. So...I guess we're on our own to go to Ghirardelli Square - or any other yummy place.

Hope your day is going well, Duckies!

Ahoy There Momma !

I checked out the Bay Quackers web site. I think this would be a great tour of The City for the Duck Crew. Their prices are very reasonable and they have group rates available.

QUACK, QUACK !!

Calgon - many thanks for the reconnoitering! Does indeed sound interesting and very different from usual San Francisco tours. For those who want my assistance with hotels, once I get the Duck Crew settled in the hotel(s) of their choice, I can start looking into this, among other things. All the hotels should have their rates by the end of this month. Duckies are flapping their wings into SFO from the weekend to the day before sailing. From what I can tell so far, there's a pretty wide diversity of interests once we invade the City by the Bay.

Good morning, Ducks, Ducklings and DITs, from central Joisey where it's a partly sunny 77 degrees.

We had a FANTABULOUS weekend. The Queen Anne's County Fair was a true one, in that they had cows, goats, donkeys, etc., etc., etc. Colleen fell in love with a little spotted goat kid and wanted to take it home. Needless to say, she did not.

Saturday, we got a late start and never got to Atlantic City until around 5pm. I managed to hit a nickle machine at Caesar's so we decided to stay over. We were able to find a room at Harrah's (at a HEFTY price and the only casino hotel that even had rooms), so we decided to stay over. Once again, we managed to come home with almost as much as we took with us, not counting the cost of the room. That's a good trip for us! ;)

Unfortunately, everyone is on his/her own for Ghirardelli's.....unless I hit a big jackpot during the A.C. meet weekend!

Hope everyone has a nice & safe day! :thumb :thumb

Good morning D, D, & Ds! ! ! With the days getting shorter, the mornings are not as bright as they were. Getting harder to see if its going to be a nice day. Can no longer tell just by looking out the window. :( But then, that just means we are closer to our cruise! :grin We each 5,000 miles waiting to go into our FF accounts. Of course we are still working on getting more. Still need a few thousand for when we book our air. Can't thank you enough for the heads up on this program Judi. =hug

Have a great day! ! !

Good Monday morning, Duck Crew. The week seems to be getting off to a good start - except for those who may be in the Florida/Southeast/Gulf Coast areas where Fay may be targeting.

Behave yourselves - not! I'll be glad to see our returning AK cruisers (WELCOME HOME) start to join in again!

Have a great day and a great start to another week, DDD's!
