Morning..............

Try closed captioning on the TV,BB.......hahahahha

Dennis should be home late tonite............then he's off tomorrow,but heads back out Sunday afternoon...............its the last of the Keys load these next few days......we hate to see what the new loads are gonna pay(find out Monday)...........he's been looking at other companies now........hates to do it(been there almost 10 years)...but if these new loads dont pay the bills,he'll have to............

Im just taking it easy this morning before I do anything....................having some tea now.................

Tea sounds good right about now. We were up before 7 this morning and I am just about coffeed (is that a word?) out.
Been doing some laundry. Can't figure out where all these dirty clothes come from when there's only 2 of us here. I think I do as much laundry now as when the kids were all home. Go figure!

I hope Dennis gets what he wants from the new loads he'll be hauling. If not, there's always Ice Road Truckers!!! Of course, it would be seasonal work!:)D

Yea,IRTrucking..........Im not too sure about that..........I cant even imagine driving on the ice or those hills................SCARY!!!!!!!!

I have laundry to get done too................I'll do that later.................being very lazy right about now.............

I hear ya about being lazy. I'm goofing off too until Bert gets home. Then I'll have to look busy!! LOL

Can you believe that road they are driving this year on IRT? Those hills and curves are unreal! Like a roller coaster on ice. Those guys have big ones to drive that road!!

Ok.....went to the gym............forced myself actually........haha

Came home.........doing 3 loads of laundry,vacuumed and thats about it...........want to go look for some clothes,but really dont feel like going out in this heat! Maybe tomorrow.......

So you think today is going to be cooler? Ha! They were saying on the weather that we'll have a heat index of about 105!::eek:

It was so hot even last night that we didn't stay at the Grill past 8. Just too hot and no breeze. Even all the paddle fans running didn't help. It felt much better in the AC at home.

Need to decide what we're doing tomorrow. The girls are coming down early for Father's Day. They have to leave by 4, so Laurie can get back for when Ron gets home from work. Don't know if I want to cook or if we should go out for lunch. Decisions, decisions!

Nothing much going on here today except trying to keep cool.

I vote for going out for lunch!

Been busy the past few days, Bill is on his annual fishing trip, so I'm getting some much needed me time! He'll be home tomorrow morning, probably early, so ME time ends in about 24 hours!
Still trying to decide whether to go to Lisa's for a cookout for Fathers' Day, or just take everyone out. Baby isn't behaving very well in restaurants these days. We went to lunch on Thursday and she squawked until we gave her the cup of milk from the restaurant with the flexible straw. She then managed to tip it straight up in the air, getting milk all over her.....which she thought was a riot! As long as she had food, she was fine....even to eating a pickle. Didn't like the beans, though, her face was priceless! Maybe we can go a little later in the day after her nap....decisions, decisions.

Cleaned a couple of drawers, vacuumed under the bed (I think somebody was growing there), and just generally did what I wanted this weekend. Next week is very busy in work, lots of final
payments to process.

Sun is out here, for a change. We've had 2/3 of June being cloudy and cool, so today is a nice change. Pool is still too cool for me, but the kids go in regardless.More rain starting tonight, and not ending until Wednesday, so your Florida heat sounds pretty good right about now. I think moss is growing on my north side (or is it the south side?)

Talk with you later.....so quiet without the male contingent. Peaceful:thumb

Hi all...........

We are headed out to the mall..................I need some new sandals...................Dennis already cut the grass...............tried to beat the super heat of late....gonna be 99 today and thats not the heat index....100 tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! Jeez............ok, better than snow in the winter.........

Tomorrow Dennis has to work so maybe we'll see his dad later.................who knows?? who cares?????????????hahah

Hi Ladies! Nice to see you both stopping by.

Made up my mind as to what we're doing tomorrow. I didn't feel like going out for lunch, as the restaurants probably will be crowded. They usually are on "special" days. I just sent Bert to Sam's for a couple of their roasted chickens. I'm making potato & pasta salad today. And that will be the menu. I already ran it by the gang and they're all for it. With this heat nobody really wants anything heavy and this is about the best answer to keep everyone happy.

Rita - Vacuuming under the bed isn't exactly my idea of ME time. Putting your feet up and enjoying a nice glass of wine would be a better way to spend your time. You still have all day to do that, so get with it!

PH - Happy sandal shopping! At least the mall will be cool. Enjoy your day with Dennis. Looks like your ME time comes tomorrow.

Can't even say happy father's day around here this weekend. There ain't no men to say it to!:lol

Time to start the salads. See ya later, gals!

Uh....Bite Me, Rita......I heard that.

We're in Vancouver now....came down from Whistler yesterday afternoon, Met up with Andrea and monty for dinner in the evening.....had a wonderful visit as always.

We board SR this afternoon.

C&A finally called me Tuesday afternoon while I was driving Interstate 5 in the Siskiyous [Mountains around mount Shasta]. Asked for the tote bag again. Probably will give it away.

Yea, I smell male testosterone around here..........Peeeeeeeee-yewwwww hehe.............nice of you to take time out to say hello to us,San........

Wound up getting 3 pairs of sandals but of course,this morning,realized 2 didnt fit very good,so back they go......I'm going into town later(Max is getting groomed) so maybe I'll check out Kohls and the other stores on that side of 75...........Dennis will be leaving here by noon..........

Bill is home from his fishing trip, and we are enjoying the first summer day. NOT! We're having rain and wind, a real nor'easter. We're heading out a bit later for a Father's Day dinner, so we'll see everyone at the restaurant. No cooking for me.

Home again and beat!!

First went to Kohls..........found a pair but the cashier pi$$ed me off and I didnt buy anything.............then off to the mall.........did get one pair in Macys......but still needed more................I saw a black pair of sequined flipflops in Belks I REALLY liked,but they didnt have my size............so after I took Max home from the groomer,I headed to Belks in the Villages................you know you're in the Villages when the "residents" insist on bring little Fluffy(their white poodle) into the store with them............ WHY not leave the dog home in a/c?????????? Does it have to go everywhere with you??????? I love my dogs,but dont shop with them...............the lady told little Fluffy to sit on mommys purse in the shopping cart............................jeezzzzzzzzz..............I see more and more of this all over..............

Hope you ladies enjoyed your dinner.............we had lunch at Steak and Shake,.....wanted Cracker Barrel but didnt want to wait..............soooo busy............
