HI,
Just stopping by to say goodnight, but did anyone see the show about the families road trip?
It's a take off on other shows, but it was pretty good.....at least the couple that lost was the one I liked the least........at the beginning she bragged about her diamond "how many carats is it, dear" and mentioned that they really weren't high mainentance, they just looked that way!
Give me a break!
Off to bed.....Bill will be home tomorrow night around 10, so it's going to be a long day. I may just go visit the Indians, if I can gather enough energy to face the drive.

Guess Bill and Kevin will miss the shuttle.................I think its tonite(I know BB will know)..............
Im just doing loads of laundry..............and am making spaghetti sauce in the crock pot...............added fresh spinach to it............had so much I had to do something with it................figured it will be like a florentine...............also added mushrooms and sausage(hot and mild)................I like stuff in my sauce..........
Dennis is in Largo(FL) and so far does not have a load for tomorrow............NOT GOOD.......he just might change jobs and again IMHO that is not good for our off time!And with this other job,he'll be gone 7-10 days at a time,if not longer.............

Didn't get to watch that show last night. We went the "intellectual" route and watch the show on Discover Channel about the Pacific Ocean and the creatures found there. I even had to DVR Ice Road Truckers. Go figure!
That would stink, PH, if Dennis had to be on the road for that number of days. I hope he doesn't have to do it and gets a load for tomorrow. Gotta keep that cruising money coming in, right?
Your spaghetti sauce sounds delicious. I'm still trying to decide what to make tonight. It's a toss up between peppers, onions & sausage sandwiches or ribs with baked potato and corn. Both sound good to me, but I have to decide soon. The meat has to come out of the freezer.
It's laundry day around here too. There's a couple of loads waiting to be done. That's what happens when you goof off for a couple of days. Guess I better get to work on it. Oh well ...

Got a better deal than that - - - Miguel Valle Landscaping does our whole place weekly for $80. a month! That includes edging, trimming bushes, and fertilizing when necessary. What a deal!!!!

Dennis got up early and went for a DOT physical.............has to have a current one(his expires in Sept) for any new company he may go to............and now we have to go pay for his 2290(IRS Heavy highway tax) $550......its due by Aug and the new employers want a paid in full one now........
If he does change(and I think he really needs to).. ......Not so sure about any future vacations(but I did warn ya before,BB).........but lets keep our fingers crossed.........
he has been with Premier almost 10 years so he wont have a problem getting a job cuz in his field, 10 years with one place is ALOT!!

Our lawn service in included with our condo fees, but I wish they would start a tad later in the day. Seems they are always starting their machines around 8 a.m. Try to sleep in with that damn noise!

Rita - Funny you should mention the new JE book. Bert just got a call from the library that a book he has on reserve has come in. I'm hoping that it's the new JE one. I had him reserve it for me. I'm getting cheap in my old age and didn't feel like paying the price for a book I'll be finished with in a few days. Bert's got other books on reserve also, so there's a chance they got in one of his instead. Now I just have to kick him out of here to go see what came in!
I know what you mean about lawn service starting too early. Our guys often come at 8 on Monday morning. They don't know how lucky they are that I don't up and shoot them at that hour. LOL
I really feel for Bill having to take care of all this stuff. I was the one who had to do it all for Bert's mother, so I know what he's going through. It really is a pain in the SSA!
PH - That will really stink if Dennis changing jobs screws up our cruise! Bert's looking forward to having Dennis around to chat with. He said the dog races kept getting in the way on Saturday! Just checked the RCCL website and there's now a senior discount on a D! for less than our D2. Already put a call in to our TA to make the change. I'll take $162. savings any day. More money for the casino!!!

OK Chick [I mean you, PH], Marcia is still in the hospital and no one seems to be sure when she will go home. I guess that they are waiting for more test results to come back. I talked to Marcia yesterday......I'll try to talk to her tomorrow. Carl is still in the same hospital recoving from his fall etc.
Looks like Nancy and I will be doing the September 19 cruise all alone. Marcia and Carl won't be able to go now and John and Angelia cancelled because of the baby being due in December. The tests came back all clear, Rita......genetics, down syndrome, all good.....and they confirmed that it is a boy.....Michael Gordon McKenna
Sounds like a good plan to change jobs for Dennis. You would think that if he worked for Premier for 10 years that he would be treated better with routes etc. Good luck to him.

Well, if Dennis cant go on the FR,maybe I can just get a new roomie...(tu) thats always an option............we'll see. Its not like his company is holding back on the loads.......its that they dont have as many as before.............more drivers than loads.......thats the problem.............
