Rita - Funny what you said about Bill still slleping. Bert also managed to sleep through the guys working. Worst part is that once they had me awake, they finished up in less than an hour and are now long gone! ggrrrrr ....

Went to Ruby Tuesday for dinner..........got a free burger for my birthday..(picked the buffalo chix sandwich thou)..........went to Macys(a return) and Publix(frig was empty)..........

Now Dennis is sleeping and will get up at 12:30........really hate having to take him,but if I want the car,have to.............wish we could afford a 2nd car........

Good morning! Got some stuff to do today to get ready to head north. Doesn't help that it looks like I'm getting a cold. I felt crappy yesterday afternoon and was soooo cold. That's just not like me at all. Made myself a hot toddy, but it didn't help. Woke up this morning with my head clogged. I'm sending Bert off to the drug store for some meds and hopefully, that will knock it out.

They're working on the pool again. Woke up at 7 to workers sawing bricks for the trim on the pool. That didn't start my day off the way I wanted it to!

Time for another cup of coffee before I get to work. I promise to stop back later.

I see your new Tijuana Flats has opened on 200. I'm surprised you didn't go there yet. You're slipping!!! LOL

I've found a problem with the guys doing the tile work. When they cut the bricks, it throws up all kinds of dust which is blowing in our direction. Good thing Bert hasn't pressure cleaned the deck this week like he planned. It's going to need it after these guys get finished. Everything is getting covered with dust! Can I go do this to the guy?

That is too funny cuz I mentioned to Dennis about Tijuana Flats yesterday.......but I had that bday coupon for RTs(where btw ,I looked over at the booth where we all ate with Marcia and Carl and just smiled).........

anyway,we need to go to dillards this weekend and will eat at TFs then...since its right near there..

Hate when others work interferes with YOUR home..............I remember all the dust and dirt when they built the house behind us..........thats when I got Curington to put up a privacy fence........it was their spec home.......

have to look up tire places for Dennis.........one of his has a split in it.......so depressing.......there goes another $1200 or so for 4 tires(cant replace just one or else its all off balance).........

Funny you should mention the day we went to RT with Marcia & Carl. We got an insert in today's paper from RT. It was highlighting the New Orleans seafood dinner. That's the one Marcia ordered that day. Isn't it strange how certain things stick in your mind, especially this week?

Got a good soaking a couple of hours ago. Since then the humidity has been on the rise big time. Feels like a sauna out there!

Cold meds are doing their job. I do feel a lot better already, but I am so tired. I'd love to take a nap, but as long as there's no more rain coming, I'm supposed to go to the Grill with a friend. Guess we'll just have to wait & see.

I'm all packed for tomorrow. Of course, Bert had to come up with something at the last minute that had to go in the laundry.

I hope they're not paying the tile guy by the hour. He's been at it for 6-7 hours now and he's about 1/3 finished. He is soooo slow!

I just went to Winn Dixie and Walgreens..........needed some food and a new tank of propane(like to make sure we have 2 full ones,in case of hurricanes,ya know!!).....

No rain YET,but the sky is black..........thundering too...........
