Good Tuesday morning all you Cotton Tails!

Hey Lee, how's about E-mailing us the postal address for your new house. If you did before, I failed to write it down. I find it funny that couch-potato Greyhounds don't usually like to sleep in in the morning. Sounds like there's no sleeping in till 10 or 11 for you in your golden years. Our hounds tend to wake up early too, wanting breakfast. But once they get that and a potty break we often all go back to bed.

So how did that nut-case take to the HOA mowing her lawn, KC? And did Jane's pool get delivered?

Good to hear that you're feeling better after your fall, BB. And ever so thankful that you didn't break anything except the wine glass.

So K2, how are you and Mary's family handling her passing? In the last year, you've been through way too many sicknesses and deaths.

One excursion out into the real world for us yesterday. We got some posies. It's a place we always buy them at called "Mary Ann's". (I still get nervous when I'm around un-masked people, but I'll get used to it eventually.)

As usual I got a flat of Vista Red Salvia's for around the yard light. But this year instead of just red I got half the flat being red and the other half a light pink. I'd wanted white, but they didn't have any.

They sure must sell a lot of flowers. They get 2 or 3 truckloads a week.

Kathi also picked out a hanging plant that she hung from our Shepherd's hook. Purple and white posies of some kind.

Today it's planting day for the red and light pink ones.

I'd better do it early since we may hit 90 degrees today. It's already 70 degrees.

Good Morning Wrabbits! Yup.....it's going to be EXTRA HOT here in the North! Yikes like we may even break a record at 90F.

Thank you for all your support and condolences regarding our dear Mary's passing. I've done what I needed to help them and they're now putting last minute things together for her funeral on Saturday. It will be only at the church. They didn't want 13.5 yr old Kristina to have to deal with doing the "funeral home" showing and then another day at church. Mary had made wonderful arrangements for Kristina to be living with "guardians" in the same area, Ann Arbor, for her school years. The family has a daughter that Kristina has grown up with and they were all very close for over a decade. What a huge responsibility to take upon themselves as a family. But Marie is 82 and George is 87 and they just wouldn't be able to keep up with a Teenager at this point in their lives. Of course, they fought this idea at the beginning, but finally came to realize that Mary made the right choice for her daughter. Can you even imagine having to make that decision. NO.

Thank you ALL again for being so supported of my crazy postings during this time. It helps to type things out at times.

LEE: You guys sure have been busy on the ROAD lately. Amazing in these times that all those papers you're picking up couldn't be put in the mail and delivered to you. Hope it all worked out okay. STAY INSIDE in the cool house. It's going to be ugly outside today.
Art and I saw a ROBO GRASS CUTTER working in front of a lawnmower supply store yesterday. It looked like a huge Turtle going up and down the grass and turning around and going back down another row. I thought of you guys and said if you bought one of these the DOGS would go crazy watching it and think it might be a Rabbit. You'd have to keep the blinds pulled the entire time it was cutting. I hope the new lawnmower is easy enough for Lu-Ann to handle. If not, it might be time to think of getting a lawn-service for the season. You guys take care over there today. Give Lu-Ann my hello's please.

Pat: How are you doing after your fall? Hope a tad better.

Karen: How fun to have Amanda coming over for a visit. I wonder if the pool will be completed by then? Maybe not. There is a lot to do to get it up and running. Hope Jane has found a Electrician to set up a separate grounded electrical box for the filter system. Can't be to safe when it comes to WATER and ELECTRICITY.

NEGC: How is Rita doing these days? You just can't leave us hanging here wondering about her recovery and those blood clots. Is she home from the hospital yet? Hope you are doing alright now too.

DAVE/ KATHI: By the time you read this it will most likely be Wednesday. Hope the planting of the posies went well. Hope you two knew enough to get inside before that HORRIBLE HEAT and HUMIDITY showed up.

Today I go to get my Prolia infusion at the Oncologist office. Not a big deal. Just another thing to get out of the way for 6 months.
I hope the nice young doctor can refer me to a Orthopedic doctor for my pulled tendon or whatever is going on with the back of my right knee. I PULLED or RIPPED something and it finally needs to be looked at. ALWAYS SOMETHING.
So don't feel alone LEE when it comes to taking a lot of meds and going to lots of doctors appointments. We all have to do what we have to do!

Out of here for now. Be good WRABBITS and thanks again for everything.

Good morning, fellow bunnies! Geez, you complained about the cold weather and couldn't wait for it to go away. Now the hot weather has arrived and you're complaining about that now too. Is there no satisfying you d*mn Yankees? LOL For the record, we'll hit 93 today. My answer to that is BRING IT ON!!! We'll have hot weather right through the holiday weekend too!

Kathie - Glad you are able to drop by to help us keep up with your busy life. Good luck with the doctor visit and I hope he can recommend someone for your knee to be looked at.
My aches and pains are feeling better, except for the cut I got on my left hand. That woke me up all night long every time I moved that hand. I put some meds on it this morning before I put a new bandaid on it. I need to keep an eye on it as it might be getting infected.

Lee - Be careful with all that running around you have to do. I hope it's not too hot for you to take the dogs out today. I always shake my head when I see some people here walking their dogs on the sidewalk when it's so hot. Are they that dumb or do they just not care? I'd hate to have a dug's feet get burned. It's going to still be a long year with lots of heat.

Dave - Have fun planting all those posies today. I would love more seasonable flowers, especially flowers that attract butterflies & humming birds, but I can't plant them myself any longer and Bert isn't interested in flowers. Oh well ...

Karen - Glad you got some time in the pool. I bet you'll be finding lots of time in the pool over the next week or so. How wonderful that Amanda is coming for a visit. I'm sure you're all going to be eager to see her. How long will she be here?

Bill - Definitely time for you to check in and let us know how Rita is doing. You know how we all worry about each and every member of our cyber family!

Let's see ... What's on tap for us today? Oh yeah, waiting for the UPS truck to show up once again. Actually, I'm getting 2 different things from them today. The replacement wine that got damaged last week and Bert's Father's Day gift. It's a wooden serving tray that says on the "STEAKS BY BERT" I thought it was appropriate, especially how everyone raves about how he cooks a steak.
Missy will also be coming over sometime today to continue with her cleaning. We figure we'd rather pay HER than some stranger. Goodness knows, building a new house, they can sure use the extra money.
Thank come supper time, they'll all be here to finish off everything from the seafood boil. I'm getting tired just thinking about all this activity today!

Time to get off here and check to see when Missy will get here. She promised the kids that she would take them to the pool today before she comes to go to work. Have a fantastic day, everyone. Be good, behave, and stay safe! :)

Hello AGAIN~ Well, not everything went well today at the Oncologists office. Got in to see her within 20 mins....which is actually good. They take your blood first and then you wait your turn to go in to see her. Okay that was good.
Then you go back into the lobby and wait to get called back to the treatment area.
Well, I waited and waited and after 1 hour they came out and said the Lab machine wasn't able to run one part of my blood work. The one that is needed to know if I can get the drip or not. Well, I said I would wait a little longer. They brought me a nice WARM BLANKET because it was FREEZING COLD in the place. Well, they took me to the treatment area and gave me another WARM blanket and I waited another hour. They said I needed to give up the wait and make another appt. Okay, I was so pissed by then I just MERRILY went along with that idea.
I got home and
YUP..... there was a message that my results finally went through and I could get the drip!~ DUH....UNREAL. I should have waited a little longer. Okay, long story short I will be going at 9:00 am tomorrow.
They wanted 11:00 am and I said NO WAY am I giving up another day. And it's suppose to rain tomorrow.

So now you know just how my day went. CRAPPY!

Pat: I thought you already got the replacement wine delivered?? Or was that a different order. You should be all set with WINE for awhile now.
Nice of you to have Missy do your house for you. Like you said, I'm sure she could use the money. Now it's just a matter of WHEN SHE SHOWS UP. Kind of just like the other cleaner person you had. Always something.

Lee: It sure is a HOT one today. Hope you are CHILLING out INSIDE.

I did get the cover for the Patio table and chairs. One huge canvas. Amazing quality for the price. The stuff at the Big Box Store would have cost 5 times as much as this one did.
Got it through Amazon....called Mr Cover.(brand) It's actually way too big, and I'm going to order a tighter one to see if it will fit. If it does I will take this huge one to Kohl's to have them return it to Amazon. I've never done any of this online stuff so it should be very interesting.

Made a appointment to see a Orthopedic Doctor for my knee issues. It's the back of the knee leg area that has something wrong with it. That's June 9th and not too far from our house thank goodness.

Okay off to sit down and try and CHILL OUT. Lordy it's been one :emoticon 0183 swear: day. :emoticon 0101 sadsmile:

Surprise! Surprise!! UPS actually delivered at a reasonable time today and both packages came at once. OMG!!! These are some real kick a$$ wines from Chili, South Africa, Spain and Italy. They are all 12.5% alcohol or higher. There's no way you're going to sit down and drink a whole bottle by yourself or someone will be picking you up off the floor where you will have been lying on your face!! These wines are definitely for sharing or flor multiple days of drinking.

Missy and the kids are here now, so I'm going to escape to the lanai.

The DAY continues to TEST my lack of PATIENCE!

I went to get on my iPad and it said NO Internet Connection.
Same thing with both Art's and my iPhones.
Called Apple Help. They said call your internet provider. That would be Comcast.
Comcast recorded answering lady is relentless in NOT GETTING YOU TO A AGENT.

Finally get a Agent. She works with me for 1/2 hour. Says she's transferring me to her Supv.
Okay.
Well, that didn't go too well. We got DISCONNECTED. If I had a gun I think I would have shot myself by now.
Call back and get the Recorded SOB again. LOL. Finally get another agent and he was able to get the iPAD connected.

Life is good again. And I'm a absolute wreck from the stress. I HATE COMPUTERS that don't work.

Pat.......if you lived any closer I'd be over your place to drink some of that 12.5% WINE. And I'd drink the whole BOTTLE! Ha Ha
Just remember.....NO WALKING AROUND WITH ANY WINE IN YOUR HANDS.

Hope your house gets cleaned the way you and Bert like it. Not sure how that can happen with the 2 grandkids there. Let us know how it worked out.

Hope you all had a better day than I did. :emoticon 0115 inlove::emoticon 0108 speechless::emoticon 0122 itwasntme:

Be back later! :emoticon 0122 itwasntme: Can't wait to find out just what Pat has to tell us! Maybe she drank the whole bottle of that new 12.5% wine she told us about! ;)

Not a good day yesterday.

Never did get the posies planted. It took so long to get the area prepped that it was time to take 16 year old "Big Foot", (Coco), our miniature wiener-dog to the Vet's to get checked out and agreement that it's time to put him to sleep.

For some time he's had trouble getting around, often having his legs fold up under him when walking. Hasn't been eating well, frequently throwing up what little he ate. Confusion, where he would just stare at a wall. Lost interest in playing with Fuzzbutt. And losing his ability to be house trained The Vet agreed that he wasn't his normal self and letting it continue in his downward spiral would only be for us, and not him.

This is the 3rd pooch around Coco's age that we've had to send over Rainbow Bridge.

And I'll tell you one thing; It doesn't get any easier.

See you Bunnies tomorrow.

Kathy - You already know what I was referring to when I said I had a lot to talk about today. Just as we were getting ready to call it a night, Missy got a call from Jimmy who stayed home to mow the lawn. While he was mowing, their beautiful black Lab pup got into a box of rat poisoning, which they have to use since the property behind them got cleared. The rats come into the chicken coop. But to continue - Gypsy ate all the rat poison plus the box it was in, so they couldn't tell what the ingredients were.
Missy told Jimmy to call the emergency vet and to make the dog vomit asap. In the meantime, Jimmy called poison control, was on hold got over an hour and finally hung up. Jimmy took the dog to the vet and the vet thought by making her vomit, they got most of the poison out of her, but gave her something else, just in case. Now it's a matter of wait and see. Please also keep Missy, Jimmy and the kids in your prayers as they all were very upset last night before they left. The kids were both crying as Gypsy is probably the best dog they ever had.

And no, Kathie, I did not drink a whole bottle of that wine last night. Actually, didn't have much last night at all. Too busy eating seafood. Even after 2 nights of everyone feeding their faces, there still was stuff left that we sent home with both families. Also sent them home with desserts too.

Lee - Those pictures from the Navy Yard that Lu-Ann posted are so beautiful. Also please wish her a happy birthday from us.

Bill - Come out, come out from wherever you are and tell us how the move is going and how Rita is doing.

And so my tale ends. What's on tap here today? Aside from a trip to the library, not much is planned, so we'll be winging it.

Have a good day, everyone. :)

Dave & Kathi….never easy saying good-bye to a faithful pup you've taken care of so well all these years. So sorry for your loss. I enjoyed listening to the stories about FuzzButt all these years.

Pat: I really didn’t know about Gypsy until after I got off of here and went over to Facebook. Sure hope Gypsy is doing better each hour.

Lee: I know Lu-Ann saw my Birthday greeting on FBook, but give her a bib Birthday hug from me!

Art got down the ROLLING WALKER for me when I got back from getting my treatment. Yup….my knee is not co-operating at all. The pain in the back of the knee and down the front is killing me. I could barely hobble out of the car and into the house.
I managed to sweet talk the Orthopedic doctor I was referred to by my doctor yesterday to see me tomorrow at 2:30 pm. Hopefully, he can give me something to hold me over to make it through the funeral Sat.
I’ve never had any knee issues so this is crazy painful. I know I pulled something a few weeks back when I folded my leg getting on the couch. Dumb move. I’m so OVER GOING TO DOCTORS.

KAREN: Hope your day is going well. Any updates on Janes pool?

Our cover for the deck table and chairs is a tad bigger than needed, but does the trick to keep it dry and pollen free. Like it.

Okay, I need to try and get up. OUCH is all I can say.
Later guys.

Lee….you looked good in the pictures from Navy Park.

Kathie, you just can't seem to catch a break lately with all the medical problems.....sure hope you didn't do any major damage to your leg! And I would have been beyond ticked at the screw up you had to deal with yesterday!

Lee, please tell LuAnn I wish her a very Happy Birthday!! Hope today was a good one for both of you!!

Pat, will keep poor Gypsy in my prayers...that is crazy that Jimmy had to wait that long for Poison control..
Good idea to keep a close eye on that cut....you sure don't need to end up in the hospital with blood poisoning!

Jane's pool was delivered today....it was supposed to be delivered yesterday but they had problems with the delivery truck...hopefully the guy will get it all set up for her this weekend!
I got the new patio area finished yesterday & painted the 2 little cement pads in front of her sliding glass doors...turned out really nice...
Worked at Barb's for a little bit this morning putting down some peel & stick tile in front of her door...it turned out nice...UNTIL I went to close the door not realizing the new tile was just a "hair" higher than the old & there was a rough spot on the bottom of the door that put a big scratch in 2 of the new tiles...so now I have to try to fix the bottom of the door & then replace the 2 tiles...luckily it was cheap tile & I had 1 left over so just need to buy 1 more...but I sure hate when a project get's messed up like that!
Amanda & family will be here for about a week & a half...I talked to Alyse yesterday & she is chomping at the bit to start packing...
Hoping to get some pool time in tomorrow afternoon as it's been hotter than holy heck here...and sooo dry...my water bill for this month was $110...it's usually $55-65....but having to water that new sod really bumped it up....oh well can't take it with me I guess...
Going to call it a night now....hope you all have a good one!

Pat, you know that we will be keeping Gypsy, M, J and indeed all of you in our prayers.
I will for sure pass along all of your birthday wishes to Lu-Ann.
Yesterday was my assessment with the cardiac rehab nurse practitioner. I got quite the going over. Maria said I was doing well but not to get ahead of myself and overdo things. That visit was after our morning walk in a light rain at The Navy Yard. A brief stop for lunch after my appointment. We got home in time for our friends to drop by to surprise Lu-Ann with a cake for her birthday. I did know they were coming which is why I was trying to do some light tidying before they arrived. They left around 5:30. I was and am beat. It seems I missed the “don’t overdo it“ part.
So, having said that, I hope that everyone has a really good day. I’ll try to check in on everyone later on.

I'd like to thank all you caring Bunnies for the condolences on Big-Foot's passing.

Yes KC, he was the dog we rescued from one of Kathi's sons. If Jane's pool gets setup this weekend I wonder how long it'll be for the water to warm up.

Good grief BB, that's one tough Black Lab. Gobbling up a bunch of rat poison and it's still alive. (At least I hope it still is.) Give us an update on that pooch. It's amazing what some dogs will ingest. Everything from kids toys to complete socks.

"Always something", as you say K2. In your case it's always some new doctor. Hope it's a minor fix on your knee. And don't be embarrassed when using that walker. A bum knee can give out at any time, and down you go. Sounds like you might use Amazon again.

Happy belated birthday wishes for Lu-Ann from us, Lee. Yes, there's always that point where where your activity is just fine and slips into the overdid it territory.

We finally got the posies planted yesterday. Finished up about an hour before it started raining. Let's just say that they are now WELL watered.

Our super heat wave has ended. Today's high temperature only going to be in the lower 70's. And tomorrow only in the 50's.

Starting off today with our weekly grocery pick-up.

Some lucky Ohioan won a million dollars last night, just for getting vaccinated. At least the first shot. Too bad it wasn't us. And some lucky 12 to 18 year old won 4 years of free college. Bet that kid's parents were thrilled. So, one drawing down and 4 more to go. Announced on Wednesdays.

Great Day GIF by memecandy

Good chatter on here yesterday. Love reading what you all did or had happen in your day.

Dave: Good for you guys getting the Posies planted and Mother Nature watering them for you. With the price of water, you lucked out on that one.
Is your other Pooch running around looking for FuzzButt? That would really be sad.

Saw the Oriole on the feeder yesterday. Made my day a lot happier. Love that bird.

Lee: Good to know the nurse gave you a good going over. Now if you can just get it in your HEAD YOU NEED TO SLOW DOWN you just might get all healed inside and THEN you can move on with your normal routines. Just give it a little more time. Glad Lu-Ann's friends could come by and help her celebrate her Birthday. Is that allowed over there under your
"lock-down"! Aww....it's alright. I bet they all had their vaccine shots....or at least I hope they did. Enjoy your day.

I'm standing up in front of my big computer monitor typing this because it hurts too much to sit and type. 2:30 pm can't come soon enough for me today.

Karen: You are definitely the "flooring and tile" Queen. Sorry that door had to scratch the freshly laid tile. I know you'll make it look perfect again. Just be careful with all the bending and lifting, etc. Take it from a gal that usually is RUNNING AROUND at full speed, it's no fun being slowed down. :emoticon 0101 sadsmile:

Pat: Sure hope that Gypsy is still doing better each day. Missy did post a picture on her Fbook of Gypsy labeled "sad eyes". Hopefully she's still recovering and not going backwards. She is one good looking dog.

How are your aches and pains doing from your fall? And more importantly how is the CUT HAND? Hope you don't have any small pieces of glass in the skin. I wonder if soaking it in warm
Epsom's salt water would be a good healing idea? Give us a update.

NEGC/BILL: How is RITA DOING? Where is she right now? You need to try and give this extended family a UPDATE buddy! Hope you are doing okay through all this. When do you guys move? Now that should be very interesting. I you hired PACKERS or your FAMILY will be doing that job. We don't need you pulling any muscles while trying to lift boxes. I know from my knee situation right now that it's NO FUN not being able to walk normally without pain. Be smart and hire this big job out. And give us a update on RITA. Also pass on our HELLO's to her. Take care.

Okay, I'm going to attempt getting into the shower. I'll tell you one thing the bottom of my right foot will NOT be getting scrubbed! Ha Ha.
