Karen so glad that you and your sister (or sisters) made it back home okay. Not a easy day at all.
Hope you get a GOOD NIGHTS sleep. Wish you would take a day off on Thursday, but I know
you will be there because that's just you. Take care in the HEAT.
I Love You Hug GIF by Chippy the Dog

Hate to say this out loud......I'm tired from doing NOTHING today. Go figure that one out! I did sit outside on the deck until the heat got to me. Longer than I usually do. Saw a Hummingbird and Oriole.

I did manage to make us dinner and Art cleaned up the table and dishes. (the stove got missed, but right now I don't really care) I'll get it tomorrow.

Checking out from Macomb. Be good my dear friends.

Time for me to say good night also. G&E and company just left and now it's time to relax at our house. Dinner way delicious. Never got to make the zucchini bread due to the lack of time. Maybe tomorrow? Why knows ...
Have a great rest of the evening. I'm sure some of you are ready for bed, so sleep well. The rest of us "night owls" need to find something to use up the rest of the evenign before we hit the sheets.
Se you all tomorrow when once again things will be quiet around here. Nighty night. Don't let the bed bugs bite!!! :):emoticon 0137 clapping:

Morning!

Lucky you KC on having a chauffeur for you long trip, and day, yesterday. Hope you get Jane's pool project done today.

For you wine drinkers; Have any of you used frozen grapes as ice cubes to keep your wine cool? Kathi mentioned that idea yesterday.

Happy to hear that Art got a good report at the eye doctor, K2. Crack the whip on those eyedrops. My doctor's visit yesterday went smoothly. In the back room on time. Less than 5 minutes before the doctor came in. He yacked for about 15 minutes, and we were out of there. (Circulation in my legs is in terrible shape. Keep upping the walking or time on the treadmill to reverse that. If it begins to hurt too much, sit down for a few minutes, then get up and keep going. Minimum of 30 minutes a day.)

I'm with you on turkey bacon, Lee. If it ain't REAL bacon, it's not bacon. And not those pre-cooked ones either. I mentioned your 6 inch hedge-cutters to Kathi. She too hasn't ever seen such a thing.

BB; After I read your dining menus I invariably get the hungries for one of the items you mention. This time it's for salmon. As for sleeping positions, mine is on my belly. Anytime I sleep on my back I wake up with a sore throat.

Our nephew/contractor showed up yesterday with one helper, and built us a new shed. Only shingles and the new door need to go on it today. (Then we get to paint it the same color as the house. Tan.)

The lawn guy got in a bad motorcycle accident, so we were surprise when his truck and trailer pulled up to our house. Out comes his 2 daughters. One who looks like Twiggy, and the other looks like Mama Cass. It sure looked different seeing them zooming around on those big commercial mowers.

My car's repairs were finished yesterday. With 4 different thing being fixed we were guessing it would come to about $800. But a nice surprise, it was only $500. If I'd taken it to a dealership I bet it would have been 800 plus.

Good morning, one and all. Looks like we are going to be having one beautiful day here in our area. Lots of sunshine and temps just about kissing 90 degrees. Perfect!!!

Dave - Your mentioning the salmon, I have a funny story for you. This is the second time I've planned a salmon dinner and then find out afterwards that the special at the Grille for the week is salmon also. Really bums me out, but I had to laugh when I read that they are serving an 8 oz piece of salmon with 1 side for $20. Kind of pricey, for what you're getting. I told this to G&E last night and pointed out how much more they were getting here. Do you think I could get those moochers to pay me $20. each for their meals? He!! no!!! They wanted it for free, plus the appetizers & cheese cake for dessert. I think I'm doing something wrong here! I like the idea though that we still have a piece left over plus fettuccine alfredo with veggies for another night's dinner. Just not tonight.

Kathie - Glad that Art gave you a hand with clean up after dinner. Bert does that all the time around here, but usually leaves the dishes for me to take care of. I can't even remember the last time I used the dishwasher. When it's just the 2 of us, there aren't that many dishes, so it seems a waste to run a cycle for so little. Now if it was a big family meal, that would be another story.
Actually, I hate my dishwasher and it's my own fault. I replaced the original one that came with the house that I kept having problems with. I chose a Bosch dish washer without doing enough research. Seems like it is made in Germany and has one thing missing ... There's no dry cycle! You have to let the dishes air dry. When I use it, I end up propping the door open a bit to help get the moisture out. Otherwise, some of the dishes are still wet the next day. I can't convince Bert to get another one, so I'm stuck with one that is hardly ever used.

Karen - That was one long day you had yesterday. I'm sure you and your sister(s) were happy to get home and relax. Today should be a day when you will be able to get in the swimming pool for sure. Enjoy it and don't work too hard.

Lee - Just the thought of that teeny tiny clipper sounds so cute. We originally had a round type plant on both sides of out front door that I had to clip to keep the shape. Unfortunately, there turned out to be a dead spot on the inside and I couldn't get to cover that area. And that's why they are no longer here.

I am trying to convince Bert to get some work done on the outside of our house, but so far I can't even get him to look into what it would cost to do. I need him to indulge my curiosity to see what it would cost. Hmmm ... Might have to make him a truly spectacular meal and t hen hope he's in the fight frame of mind to even entertain my ideas. Wish me luck!!!

Time now for another cup of coffee and then to make up my mind as to what I might do today. Have a super day, everyone! :)

Good LATE Mid-Morning. Ha Ha
200.gif
It's Thursday just in case you wonder what day it is!

DAVE: Well, it looks like you have more TREADMILL walking to do. Can you do it a couple of times a day and keep that blood flowing better? Morning and like maybe 3:00 in the afternoon.

Sorry about your lawn man having a cycle accident. Never a good outcome. No real protection on those motorcycles. My brother has a Harley and has even taken it to Reno, NV to see his kids. My sister-in-law flew to Arizona and went the rest of the way with him on the bike. CRAZY. Not sure he would go that again. I'm afraid to get on a motorcycle for a ride.
How sweet getting the SHED up so quick. That Nephew is a excellent worker. PICTURES....we need before paint and after paint pictures. Ha Ha. I know Kathi can do it.

And I think that $500 for all you had done on the car is fair. Heck, they want $68 bucks for a oil change at my dealership.

Pat: Glad the dinner turned out good for G & E. You always do such a complete job of dinners. I've NEVER heard of a dishwasher without a dry cycle. Seems unhealthy and that with all the moisture in a dishwasher MOLD would be growing somewhere. Different for sure.

Karen: Well, by now (11:12 am) you are about to start to shut down for the day because of the HEAT OF the DAY . Hope you got what you wanted to done. Snap a few pictures as you go along. I still need to get a better handle on this project. Thanks.

I didn't sleep worth a darn AGAIN. 4:00 am and I was still tossing. I must have finally fallen asleep when I went out to the couch to give that a try. It was 8:30 am when I realized I did a few hours of sleep. JUST NOT ENOUGH. Sure wish I was a "afternoon NAP taker" right about now!

Lee: What's on your list of things to do. Did you and Lu-Ann get that lawn cutting done? Nice to have a partner and split the job up. I guess that call that TEAM WORK! Good going.

It's 81F and muggy and partly cloudy right now. Suppose to RAIN later and into the night. JOY JOY........more mushrooms! Ha ha.

Well the pool project is finished...but as with most projects it did not turn out as expected..Jane had bought 2 sets of inside the pool steps...the plan was to put 1 set inside & the other set outside connect by the mini platform I built...problem is the outside steps are to steep & Barb can't get up them....and Jane had problems as well....soooo next step....buy the stair risers to connect to the mini deck..along with building handrails up the steps & around the deck...I told Jane I think it's over my skill level but we are going to give it a try anyway....here is todays finished project...Jane did manage to get in & out of the pool but she doesn't feel real comfortable doing it...

Thanks for the pictures Karen. You sure have done a good job. Sorry it's not working the way you all expected. SAFETY is real important. Might be time to hand this project over to a installer. Good luck.
I see a 'electrical cord draped over the patio. Hope that doesn't cause any issues.

Time to go check the "Little Whole Chicken" I put in the oven to roast for our dinner. This chicken is a ONE TIME MEAL! LOL . All I can say is that it came in handy since I'm not able to go to any stores. Thank goodness I stocked up with some items like that.

Sunny outside. I was on the deck this morning. We have a hose right up on the deck and I was able to water the flower boxes on the railing and the HUGE tomato plant right below in front of the deck. The rest of the stuff will most likely get watered if it rains tonight!
Picked our 1st grape sized tomato. We're going to be eating those daily in about another week. WOW. I need to get you all a picture of this MONSTER Tomato plant that is in a 12" round pot. Amazing how big it got. It's way up over the deck height right now!

Art came home from biking and watered the plants out front.

Karen........get some rest.

black-decker-cordless-hedge-trimmers-gsl35-64_100.jpg
Thanks for the pics of the finished pool stairs Karen. I was having a tough time figuring out where the stairs were going. It sounds like your sisters would be more comfortable with a wider tread and a longer climb into the pool. I notice that you have a big rubber mallet in the one picture. That and a roll of duct tape and you're golden to fix just about anything! Quite the day, and a long one, for you and your sisters yesterday.
Sorry about your sleepless nights Kathie. You need to try some CBD oil - without THC. That's legal in Pure Michigan now, isn't it? We were off to The Navy Yard early with the pups. I had my rehab session and while I was out Lu-Ann cut the front yard. Dave asked if we needed the grass cut and I told him no but he and Jan were more than welcome to pop over for a wee visit. And they did.

the stove got missed, but right now I don't really care
So, who are you and what have you done with our Kathie?
Good luck with plying Bert with a good meal Pat. Funny story about the salmon at The Grille and the salmon at Pat's Cucina. And your meal came with dessert and beverages! How far ahead do I need to book to secure a seat at the table and keep that price? Even though there is only Lu-Ann and I we use our dishwasher all the time. We put dishes in and when it's full we fire it up. We'll even use it if we prepare one of our meal kits and have to use every pot and pan in the kitchen.
That turned out to be a pretty good price for the auto repairs Dave. Labour at most of the dealerships around here is in the $110 per hour range. Even if they fix something in 20 minutes they go by the "book value" and charge accordingly. Geez I miss my Wendell Motors employee discount! I hope your lawn guy isn't too badly banged up. I've never been keen on bikes. It seems no matter how careful the rider may be they're at the mercy of cars and trucks - who usually win in a crash. A friend uses frozen "globe" grapes ( I think that's what they're called) in his wine. Larry also like to eat them straight out of the freezer. Good advice to Kathie about the treadmill.
Just got a severe thunder storm watch announcement on my phone and watch. I should try to feed Bear before the storm develops.
You all enjoy the rest of your Thursday!

Hello again!

Dave, we saw a guy yesterday on our way back from Orange Park that scared the crap out of Barb & I both....we were going about 60 miles an hour down a 4 lane highway in the right hand lane....in the lane next to us was a med. size pick up truck...all of a sudden we hear this loud whining sound and this guy on a motorcycle shoots between my sisters van & the truck...he must have been going at least 90 miles an hour...if he'd hit one little piece of road smutz he would have been toast!

Pat, your dinner last night sounds excellent as usual...nice that the crew left you enough for another meal or 2...I too rarely use my dishwasher...just as fast & easy to wash 1 plate, bowl or whatever & be done with it...

Lee, before this project is done duct tape may very well come into use...poor Bear just can't catch a break with all the storms lately...

Kathie, sorry you are having so much trouble sleeping...is it because of pain or you just can't shut down the brain thinking of all the things you can't get done right now?

I am taking tomorrow off for ME...hopefully if the weather is decent I can go to the pool for a little bit...haven't seen my buddy's in a week or so....now I think I am going to go re-heat the baked ziti Jane sent home with me today....enjoy the evening...and Thanks to whoever posted that today is Thursday....I swear I can't keep track of days anymore!

Lee: That gal named... Kathie.... is still around. She's just not into making suggestions these last few days. Today I did leave all the throw rugs outside the back door for Art to SHAKE. It worked, he came home from biking and shook the rugs before he came inside. I used the steam floor cleaner while he was gone. Held onto the counters and kitchen table to take the weight off the leg. Wasn't suppose to do that, but hey, I gotta tell you it was a quick job after I used the swifter to pick up lint and sand, etc. There was NO WAY I could sit and watch Art try and do that without me directing him. And that's just not a good thing to do when a guy comes home from 40 miles of biking. I iced the knee afterwards and it's fine.

Karen: Thanks for the heads up on the Electrical Cord. I just don't want anybody FRYING themselves in that pool!
And I am in NO PAIN. Sure it's sore at the 2 spots where they put the probes in, but no worse than a paper-cut.
The issue is that I'm not a BACK sleeper and I'm suppose to keep the leg level and straight out. If I turn on my side the leg bends. I've tried small pillows and it just doesn't work. So tonight I will try a GLASS of WINE! I don't want to get use to taking sleeping pills. I think I'll be sleepy enough to actual catch a few more winks tonight. Thanks for asking.

My LITTLE CHICKEN is out of the oven resting right now. Want all those juices to absorb before we dig into it.
Dance Chicken GIF by Zu
I use to have one of these chicken stands decades ago. Never used it much. Just another
gimmick if you ask me.

Lee: Glad your friends got to stop over. I take it as long as you're ALL vaccinated and you stay away from large groups you guys can visit each other. Any idea when they'll ease up on restriction in your area and open up restaurants, etc?

Did I tell you guys that my CHOIR sent me a $50 buck gift card for one of our yummy local Italian restaurants. I called the President and Get-Well committee member and told them THANK YOU and then said that I really shouldn't have gotten that much or a card at all. They both said that I never go into the hospital for anything and I deserved it. Oh well, now I feel guilty enough to send them a generous check for the treasury. Good thing they don't all know about half of the times I've been in the hospital. Ha Ha. Let's just keep it that way is how I feel. I am a VERY GOOD GIVER of kind gestures, but I am a HORRIBLE RECEIVER.

Okay, that chicken must be ready for us to eat by now. Later all.

Found a new long series on Netflix called " Manifest". WE have to get into that later.

What do you call a motorcycle rider who doesn't wear a helmet? An organ donor.
1f601.png

According to one of his daughters our lawn guy will probably be down for a while. He got the crap knocked out of him. And she said if he hadn't been wearing a helmet he'd be dead now. Still no details on the accident.

You've got me nosey BB. What's the work you want done on the outside of your house?

Yes KC, those pool steps are each kinda tall. Probably because they were designed for inside the pool, where the water make you more buoyant so they are easier to climb up. How are you on making shorter steps for outside the pool?

K2; Hope you are in the mood to be eating lots of BLT sandwiches soon. Or do you can some of the tomatoes?

Thanks for the picture of the hair-trimmer, Lee. $110 an hour just for labor at dealerships? YIKES! NO, no, no on that CBD oil without the THC. Might as well use it the way nature made it. Call it organic.

Not much planned here today. Buddy goes in for a booster shot at the Vet's this morning.

Kathi was looking forward to attending a baseball game tonight that 2 grandsons are playing in. (From the family of 6 kids.) But the weather forecast says that's probably not going to happen. Around that time thunderstorms are forecast.

Holy Cow, is it ever raining!!
Now Kathie, what would you tell any of us if we were doing stuff that we shouldn't be doing while we recover. And I'll leave it at that. Funny you asked, today Ontario entered "Stage 3" of the recovery plan. Inside dining is allowed, more people are allowed in stores and so on. I'm still in no hurry to test this phase. Yes, our entire "bubble" is now fully vaccinated. Everyone is two weeks beyond their second shot. Our group of 8 is allowed to gather indoors. That looks like the stand we use to do beer can (or soda can) chicken on the BBQ. A neat way to cook a chicken. Very nice of the church to think of you and send you a little get well gift. Does the restaurant deliver or can Art pick something up? Until, that is, you're allowed to be back on your feet.
Around here if somebody did that Karen we'd refer to them as riding a "doner-cycle". Oh to be young and invincible. Which is a nice way to say "stupid". I hope that the weather is nice enough for you to get time today with The Poolies.
That $110 rate was the posted rate they were charging over a year ago Dave. I can't imagine that it's gone down since then!! For Bear, we need a very low concentration of THC. Last thing we need around here is a stoned Greyhound wanting Cheesies. It's good that your lawn guy has daughters who can pick up the business for him. When do you reckon you'll get the new shed painted?
Wow, it looks like we have a momentary break in the rain. We are forecast to get 2 1/2 inches today with more coming tonight. I may need to get those Ark plans from Kathie!
I'll stop by later to see what's on the menu at Pat's Cucina - and if the meal has swayed Bert to consider the work on the outside fo the house!
I hope everyone has a fantastic FRIDAY!

Good afternoon, gang! Moving slow around here this morning after another crappy night's sleep. Sleeping in 2 hour intervals with about an hour awake in between and listening to you-know-who snoring night after night is not good by any means. So now my butt will be dragging once again all day!

Ate at the Grille last night with friends. The main chef definitely was not there last night. I got garlic parm wings and they are pretty tasteless. I brought most of them home and can only hope they will be better when heated up today. I'm not expecting that to happen though.

Dave - OK, I'll let you all in on what I would like to do outside. Those of you who have been to our house know that we have a prominent corner lot as you approach our street. The outside is just stucco with no pizazz. I would like to do a stone veneer on the front of the house by the front door and possibly the garage wall. The stone veneer comes in pieces that are them made to look like solid stone. Bert thinks this would cost a small fortune, but I don't. I think he's comparing it to what we had in Ocala and that was solid white marble rocks on the fireplace which were done individually. We are in this house for 16 years now and have not really changed anything inside the house or anything major on the lanai, which we never enlarged. Almost all of our neighbors have done extensive work inside their houses and installed pools or hot tubs on their lanai. There's no way I'd ever want another pool, but I think it's time to spruce up the outside of the house. House prices here just keep going up and I think the stone veneer will up the value of our house. When I mentioned upgrading, without telling him what, Bert's answer was that we upgraded when we built the house, so nothing else has to be done. Bert may be right in that it would cost too much, but I really would like to satisfy my curiosity as to how much it would cost. So now you all know!!

Kathie - You are the first one to holler at anyone who does something against doctor's orders and what do you go and do but the kitchen floor. You're a bad girl! Now go to your room!! Nice that the church sent you a gift card. Very thoughtful of them!
Not a fan of Manifest. Seen a couple of episodes, but we didn't like it. To finish up Shark Week, I think we're going to watch Jaws tonight. Here's a sad note for you - The man who used to be in charge of running the Jaws ride at Universal Studios and his 14 year old son were killed in a head on collision coming home from a family BBQ on 4th of July. So sad. His most recent position at Universal was running the ET ride. They shut it down for a few days in remembrance of him. Universal actually has an area set aside in honor of cast members who passed away from one thing or another.

Lee - How nice that your group of 8 are once again allowed to get together indoors. I hope it stays that way. Due to all the stupid people in this country who refuse to get vaccinated, our numbers are jumping all over the place. Orlando is considering putting back in a mask mandate for everyone indoors. Between the theme parks and the beaches, there are just too many unvaccinated residents & tourists around. And don't even get me going about Walmart!!!

I see by the clock on the wall that it's time for some lunch, so I'm going to close this post. Tonight we'll be having leftover salmon, so I don't have to worry about making anything special for dinner. Yippy! Too tired to do that today for sure.

Have a fantastic day, everyone. Stay dry, if there's rain by you. Soak up some vitamin D by getting outside, if there's sun in your area. Just enjoy your day! :)

Did the wings improve since last night Pat? So many foods do taste better the next day. I hope wings are in that mix. I bet the “faux” stone would look great on your place. You have a beautiful home and that would add to the curb appeal. I know a guy who would work in exchange for that $20 a plate salmon feast (including dessert and beverages). He’s Canadian and does good work…
With Orlando and area so dependent on tourism and the much maligned snowbirds I would think that the state would like to take precautions to make residents and visitors alike feel safe. Even if masks are brought back into play.
Have a good evening everyone.

Hi gang. We just got through watching 2 more Episodes of Manifest. I like it. Just wish they would have offered ”Closed Caption” so we wouldn’t miss anything they say. Seems like 2 of the actors MUMBLE and it’s hard to understand them. Hate when that happens.

It rained on and off today. Mostly ON. Suppose to rain in the night too.

LEE: I feel so bad for BEAR. So far no thunder blasts here. Hope you don’t get any either. I saw on the evening NEWS that “your people and our people” are talking about opening up the BORDERS Mid August. :friends:
So happy you and your Bubble can now meet up on a regular basis. Just don’t let your guard down in restaurants and big box stores, etc, etc. That DELTA can still cause ALL of us vaccinated folks issues. Sadly.

PAT: I Love your ideas for your house, but I’ve known you and Bert for 2 decades now and I don’t see BERT doing any of your great update ideas. And if you’re not planning on moving anytime soon adding to the value of your house just won’t fly with Mr Bert! The man won’t even upgrade his CAR! Ha ha.
I wonder what he would say if you told him “ It’s either UPDATE the outside of the house or we MOVE” ! Wait….I think I already know the answer! Good luck girl! Does going JERSEY on him ever work?

Confession: So if you all think I was a BAD GIRL for steam cleaning the kitchen floor I must confess Art drove me to the big grocery store down the street and I got into one of those motorized scooters and SHOPPED for the first time in 3 weeks. It felt so good to be out of this house. A young man showed me how to operate the scooter. Those things really TAKE OFF down the aisle. And they turn right or left on a dime! Even BEEP when you go backwards. Art parked the car came inside and followed me around and helped get the items up on the higher shelves. I sat the whole time. I really had the urge to RACE UP AND DOWN THE EMPTY LANES. HA HA
By the way I actually tried to order from my iPhone and was more than ready to have ART go to pick up the order, but darn it I just wasn’t finding the items I really needed. The next time I need to get groceries I’m going to have Jill come over and show me EXACTLY how to do it. DUH!
I think all in all I only had to walk about 15 steps for the entire OUTING!

Okay hope everyone SLEEPS well tonight. Have a GOOD SATURDAY!

FLOOD Warning going across the TV screen …..just what we don’t need anywhere. Mother Nature needs to divert some of all this water to OUT WEST where those fires are out of control.

Good Saturday morning Bunnies!

Ya know, I've grown to dislike weekends. Too many damn sports. I turn on the boob-tube to watch a show I want to see, and sure enough it's been preempted by some sport thing. Ba Humbug.

Lee; It's good that Ontario has backed off on Covid restrictions so your group of 8 vaccinated friends can get together inside of someone's house. Around here, and most of the U. S., this Delta variant has infections jumping way up. We're pretty sure that it won't be long before people again will be required to wear masks inside of stores. Even those that are vaccinated.

How soon will we be able to paint the new shed, you asked. Probably not till Monday or Tuesday. Nothing but on and off showers till then.

A stone veneer on the front of your house house sounds like a good idea to me, BB. Even without any thought of selling your house, sprucing it up a bit with that stone would make you feel better.

And I'm with you on pools. Never again.

K2, you sound like a kid with a new go-cart racing up and down the isles of that store. In my mind I'm seeing people diving out of the way and displays flying. How long will it be before Art hops on a scooter and races you to the check-out? :) Those things are just fun, when you need them.

My ponytail has now gotten to 9 inches long. It was a fun time growing it and experiencing what it's like to have long hair. But your know what? Long hair is a pain in the a$$. All the washing and brushing. And if not pulled back into a ponytail but just left to hang down, having it get in the way of your vision and even having it fly in your mouth. I'm tired of it. This experiment is over when it reaches 10 inches.

At 10 inches the ponytail gets cut off and sent to this organization that makes wigs for little kids that have lost their hair due to cancer treatments. And I can go back to my normal haircut. And just use a bar of Dove soap to wash it while in the shower. Oh yea, the minimum length of a ponytail they want is 10 inches.

From what I've read, the average person's hair grows 1/2 an inch a month. So I'll quit being a hippie in about 2 months.

(It takes 10 to 12 ponytails to make one wig.)

Good Saturday morning, everyone! Getting a late start today due to another crappy night's sleep. Even tried doubling the dose of melatonin and I still woke up less than 3 hours after I went to bed and that was just the start. Did the same wake up 2 hours after I finally fell back to sleep. I think it's time to have Bert pick up some chamomile tea. I remember how Bert's mother used to swear by that to help get a good night's sleep. I'm getting desperate, can't you tell?

That is some long hair you've got there right now and good for you wanting to donate the hair once it's been cut. Our granddaughter, Jennifer, donated her hair last year to "Locks of Love". No one encouraged her to do this, but she saw something on TV or a video and she told her parents that she wanted to do this. She has such a heart of gold and always wants to help others.

Lee - Yes, the wings were better yesterday. Either that or I was just plain hungry and would have eaten anything.

Karen - Good luck figuring out how to finish your project today. If it won't work, I agree with the others that it will be time to bite the bullet and get the job done. This is taking up too much of your valuable retirement time!

Kathie - Still formulating my campaign for the stone front to the house. I don't know which would be a better route to take - feed him an awesome dinner or offer him some crazy monkey sex!! At this point in time, I'm sure the awesome dinner would win hands down!! LOL Aren't those scooters in the supermarket great? Remember how Tony used to grab one once in a while just to drive poor Nancy crazy? He also used to let the kids ride in the basket which is a no-no. I use a scooter like that at Publix now and also at the big box stores like Sam's or BJ's. Just can't walk that far any longer.

Speaking of Publix, I have to put together a shopping list for the next couple of days. I actually mentioned something that I haven't made in forever and Bert liked the idea for when the gang is here - Baked ziti with meat & sausage. Not sure when we will be blessed with one of the branches of the family, but I want to at least get the gravy made. Putting it all together and popping it in the oven will be a piece of cake to do. Guess I should get that done now as sooner or later Bert will want to go to the store.

Have a fantastic day, everyone. Try to find something special to do today, but stay safe! :)
