Good morning, I think I'm finally rested up enough to try & string a few words together & make a complete sentence, Wilma's cabinets whipped my butt!
Dave, we always knew you were a man of eclectic taste, just from some of your breakfast combos!
Regarding your coffee survey, I'm currently drinking Folger's Columbian, but on Friday bought Maxwell house Columbian because it was $4 a can cheaper than the same size Folgers. I brew it in a Black & Decker drip coffee maker I bought at an Estate sale for $4. I also have a Keurig that I use for Decaf coffee in the evening or Starbucks Sumatra in my refillable pods
Pat, I bet it was wonderful to see Wes again even if it was for a short visit. Hopefully he will decide to move back to the area sooner rather than later. Did you get your Mimosa?
Lee, that breakfast pic you posted the other day looked delicious!! I could see me munching on that for several days. So what's up next for the old guy construction crew? Fall is just around the corner so I just know SOMEBODY has a project or 2 in mind.
Kathie, those were some beautiful water pic's you posted! I don't remember the lake water being so blue when I lived in Ohio.
I hope you haven't paid the cabinet guy in full yet, sounds like one screw up after another!
Bill, those were sure some screwed up Cribbage standings you posted, sounds like you need a new scorekeeper for next year.
Nancy, I don't blame Bruce for not going back for round 2 of the sleep study. I don't think I could ever do one of those, I need it to be cool, DARK & Quiet for me to be able to sleep.
I finished up Wilma's cabinets last Thurs. morning, a day ahead of schedule. For the bottom cabinet doors I ended up putting the doors back on the base to paint them. Her living room where she painted them doesn't have very good light so they were pretty splotchy looking, with the better light in the kitchen I was able to get them evened out. She was quite happy with how they turned out & gave me $100 for helping her. I wasn't expecting that & tried to give her back half of it but she insisted, so I said Ok. Was a very nice surprise!
Yesterday morning I mowed Jane's front yard & did some puttering around her house. The grass has finally slowed down growing now so I can stretch it to 8-9 days between mows
I've got a couple of flower beds to weed in the neighborhood this week, one of the sister's I did work for called me last week to ask if I was still doing that & would I do hers & her sisters again. I told her I had been taking a little break because it had been so hot, but I would get them done this week probably in the early evening.
And that is about all the happenings going on here in Beautiful Belleview, have a good Monday all!
