Had a NAIL in my tire. They fixed it and I was on my way. Gotta love a good Tire Shop!

Having issues getting into my EMAIL ACCT. Right now I HATE Microsoft and HOTMAIL. I have to wait until tomorrow to try and recover my account. Geez!   o_O

Good news with your tire Kathie! Most of the time these days they pro rate the wear and sell you a new one! Frustrating those computer issues!
It was a misleading bright and sunny here all day but oh so cold.
G’nite folks.

Mornin’ Dave.
Today is supposed to hit 37F but it still won’t feel above 30F. Tomorrow we’re looking a 55F and it will feel like it. Crazy early Spring temps.
I’ll check in on you all later. In the meantime behave.

Belleview checking in, bright & sunny here but still on the cool side. No 9:15 mass for the next 3 weeks due to Palm Sunday, Easter & Rev. Lisa's vacation so I get to take my time this morning.
Yesterday I did a quick mow on Jane's front yards, the weeds & oak saplings were taking over. I was really feeling it last night so took a hot shower & 2 tylenol pm's before I went to bed, slept like a log till almost 8 am. Now I need to get some coffee in me & get the day started

Glad you got a good nights sleep in Karen. :cheerleader:

Have a good day Wrabbits!

Show yesterday was very enjoyable and the cast was excellent. We had never been to this theater before but it was very comfortable and our seats were very close to the entrance so getting into and out of the theater was easy despite our mobility issues.
Lisa was able to deposit our checks so no more worries about that issue.
Went to pick up 5 prescriptions at Walgreen's after the show and when I got home I discovered that they only gave me 4 prescriptions. At least the receipt showed that they had only charged me for the 4 that I received. I immediately called Walgreen's and got a message that: "they have 1 prescription for me that is "ready for pickup". Will do that later today but will mention to them that it required an
unnecessary second trip to get what I should have gotten on the first trip. If we are back in Vero next year I will definitely be finding another pharmacy.
73 here right now, sunny with a slight breeze. I liked your picture of the snow, K2 but, then again, I much prefer looking at pictures of snow than experiencing it in real life. Glad that you got that tire fixed before you ended up getting stranded somewhere with a flat tire. It is sometimes amazing how frequently tires seem to find nails or other metal on the roadways.
Today is Palm Sunday which means that Easter is only one week away. Enjoy!

Church was good. You all got a few words put in for you!
Had a really good Choir rehearsal afterwards at our hall.

CALL THE MIDWIFE IS ON TONIGHT. It's a new one in case you follow this series.

Still cold here. Now 35F.

Bill the East is getting hit with snow again. Not sure if it's in your area or not. So far we have managed to 'dodge' the snow this season. Now I hope I didn't jinx it for us here up North.

That's it for tonight.

We had our lawn cut this morning. He didn't raise his prices which is nice. He does it all, mowing, edging and triming. I may ask him if he will trim our rose bushes.
I know where a few of us live but not everyone. I don't know where Bill, Lee and Nanciy live, could the 3 of you let me know.. Thanks in advance. I forgot about my print being so small, had to do an edit and enlarge my print.

Good morning.
Still cool this morning but we’re headed in the right direction, warmer, later today. Tomorrow brings much needed rain.
We used to watch CTM Kathie but then it started to stray from the early episodes and get “soapy”. When is your choir visiting Windsor?
That pharmacy has certainly been a real bother for you Bill. I’m sure you will be met with a shrug of the shoulders when you go back for the other script.
Cutting the grass is something I still enjoy Mike. We don’t have nearly as big a lawn as we did. We live in Amherstburg, Ontario. We’re about 30 minutes south of Windsor. MI is a mile away right across the Detroit River. Here’s a video that showcases out town…

And off we go on another week.

Pretty much just my random thoughts this morning.

Thought of you yesterday, Lee. You tend to be forward looking. I so enjoyed the pictures of how you remodeled you basement. I especially enjoyed seeing that door down there made to look like a bookshelf.

Watching the news, they had a story about building new homes now. It seems that hidden rooms and secret doors are a new trend now. How cool!

On another subject; The History Channel's "Food that Made America Great", has begun showing new episodes. No clue how many episodes make up a "season" for that channel.

I was watching a new recorded episode yesterday on soda-pop. Around the time of prohibition. In the early 1900's pretty much only men went to bars and saloons. But when alcohol was outlawed entrepreneurs made soda fountains quite popular, and women would go in with their hubbies and male friends.

Which lead to the invention of straws. What the heck does straws have to do with women? (So yes Ladies, it's all your fault for all the straws in oceans and landfills. :) )

It seems that the bar owners who turned them into soda-fountains were having a devil of a time getting women's lipstick off of the glasses.

Over time straws became quite popular for all people, especially children.

But you ladies started it! :)

And it's still COLD up here in the NORTH! It's actually 'climbing' up quite fast this morning. Started out at 28F and now is at 40F. Suppose to get rain late, late in the night through early Tues morning. That's it for your UP NORTH PURE MICHIGAN weather!

DAVE: Don't be so quick to blame 'women' for polluting the waters with straws! After all, it looks like it was a man that invented the straw to save himself some extra scrubbing time on the glass rims. ;)

Mike: Good for you getting your lawn cut. Seems early to start that, but you are further SOUTH of us. I bet the guy would clean up your Roses and trim them for the right price. WORTH IT FOR YOU AND THE ROSES. JUST ASK HIM.

I suspect that our fertilizer company will be out by next week putting on WEED & FEED. Then our lawn-guy, ED, will be starting up cutting again. I PRAY he doesn't increase the prices. He did that last year. And he made a killing on the PRE-PAID snow removal prices this past season. Came out 5 times. Whoppee!
Thanks for the LARGER font size. But we all understand if you don't change it every time. It's a pain and we're just happy that you're back in the fold of the Wrabbit Hutch and posting.

Last nights "Call the Mid-Wife" wasn't as good as most of the series. But better than watching nothing!

IOWA girls Basketball team plays a game today. We'll be watching that one for sure.
Iowa vs West Virginia at 8:00 pm. Always a good game to watch. Caitlin Clark is their star 3-point shooter.

You all have a good day. I have nothing more to bore you with right now. :p

I live in Fort Pierce, Florida. It is about 50 miles north of West Palm Beach. Have been here since 1980. We actually live in the county and no HOA for us.

Yep Dave, real trend setters we are. NOT What a neat story about the invention and reason for straws.
Hopefully the weather stays nice enough that I can get my trusty fertilizer spreader out within the next week or so Kathie. The ground here is terrible because although much of the area used to be farmland builders (or the farmers) took the topsoil before construction started leaving us to deal with mostly clay. Even though we put down topsoil before the sod went down. Kathie, I never find your notes boring.
We checked out Netflix last night and were glad to see ”Somebody Feed Phil” was back. Last night he was in Mumbai (formerly Bombay) and Washington, DC.

Good morning. It is overcast this morning but I don't think we are supposed to get any rain.

Yesterday I tried a different pair of pads for my foot and it was great, it is thicker than most and I know that is why it worked to keep my foot from hurting. I actually wore it all day and it helped so much, I will be buying more of them.

All have a great day.

Good afternoon!

Dave, I'm always impressed with the interesting tidbits of information you & Lee always seem to come up with. And now straws are coming full circle, from paper to plastic to metal & back to paper.

Kathie, glad you made it to church yesterday, we got doubly blessed then cause I put in a word for all of us too! Rev. Lisa said this morning we had 92 people at the 10:30 mass yesterday, a much better turn out than we've been averaging. Thanks for the Easter card too!

Lee, I need to figure out some kind of weed & feed to put down on my grass. I had all new sod put down in front a couple years ago & now it's back to all weeds again, so aggravating!

Nancy, glad you found something to help with the foot pain!

Bill, bummer about all the problems you've had getting prescriptions filled while in Florida. I use Publix pharmacy & they've been great so far. I even used to get Scooter's meds there & they would look for discounts for me to save a few bucks.

Mike, getting the grass mowed at last years pricing is always a nice surprise!

It's Holy week at St. Mary's so we I went to the morning prayer service, it was nice & only lasted 30 mins. Then I went to Ford dealer in Belleview to get my oil changed, that took 1-1/2 hours because they didn't have the filter for my truck, which they didn't check UNTIL they had drained all the oil out. I wasn't a very happy camper, then my $29 oil change with my coupon ended up being $41 because it was only for 5 qts & my truck takes 6. Oh well, it's done now & won't need to be done again for quite a while.
Stopped at Miss Reba's & got her flower beds weeded & new mulch put down. She insisted on paying me again, I tried to get it all done & leave before she noticed I was there but her daughter was there & saw me & told her I was there.
Going to take myself to Sonny's BBQ tonight for my last free birthday meal.
Tomorrow I have a dentist appt. to get my dentures adjusted, hopefully after that I will actually be able to eat regular food with them.
Beautiful day here today so I think I'm going to go finish my book on the back porch. Have a great day all!

Glad to see that the new pads helped with your foot pain, Nancy. Ytou should definitely stock up on them the next time you make a purchase.
Rita and I live in EAST BRIDGEWATER, MA except for the three months we are here in Vero Beach or on a cruise, Mike. Incidentally we got confirmation that the fellow who is trucking our car back home, will be picking it up on April 1st. (Hope it isn't an April Fool's trick). If we don't rent a car we will only be housebound for about two days which is certainly doable.
You pretty well described the reaction at the pharmacy when I picked up that prescription yesterday, Lee, although I was at the drive thru window and couldn't really see the shrug.
I did think that it was somewhat ironic that the prescription that they didn't give me on Saturday was the only one where the price was under ten dollars.
I see that a court has reduced the amount of the bond that Trump has to post. I wonder if his lawyers cited as their reason for the reduction was that sale of those "gold" sneakers weren't going as well as they had hoped?
I think that our area south of Boston is supposed to get mostly rain but Maine where two of my grandkids are in college is being buried under a couple of feet of the white stuff.t
I'll add Publix pharmacy to my list of possible replacements, Karen. Thanks for the suggestion. Back home, the pharmacy we use is at the Stop & Shop supermarket and we are much more than satisfied with how they treat us.

THE BIG BAFOON MORON got a REDUCTION to $1.75 millon. Just knew the courts would FOLD. I'm so sure they would do the same for us! Ha Ha. NOT.

Make a batch of Choc chip cookies. "Some" of them will go with me to my 2nd round of Knee Physical Therapy. It comes at a good time, since this past weeks COLD and DAMPNESS makes the knee joint ache a tad now and then. Insurance is paying for this round, so I might as well take 'advantage' of it.

BILL:
Good to know you have a CAR TRANSPORT RETURN DATE. I think it would be more trouble than it's worth to rent a car for 2 days. Concentrate on packing the place up and clean out what's in the refrig. Get a Pizza delivered or offer to take the folks next door out to dinner if they drive! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: :clap002:

OKay, back to the cookie making. The butter and sugar has been beating while I've been posting this! :emoticon 0115 inlove:

I think it’s neat that with everything you do for others Karen you manage to stretch your big day in to your “birthday week”.
You may have said Bill but how long will it take your vehicle to get home?
