Fantastic pictures Lee. Thanks for sharing.

I went to get my car washed and put in my Quarters to do it myself and NO WATER came out. I flagged down the attendant and he said just get in the line for the BIG AUTO car wash. That's the one where you pay $20 bucks a month for unlimited washes. Works for me. I only put in $3.00 worth of quarters. And I got a better wash and they even have 2 kids drying off your car as you get out of the tunnel.

Went to CVS and picked up items we use that are offered FREE with the cash card we get from the insurance company that Ford works with. Saved $55.00 buck-a-roo's~ Amazing day so far. Only thing they didn't have was B12 pills in the strength I use. I'll check another CVS later this week.

Okay, off to get a cup of coffee and relax until I have to make dinner. Which is almost now!

"that man is the most digusting piece of s__t in t he universe" How true that is, Mike. Right before he was to speak I said to Kathi, "Who do you think he's going to blame for the airplane/helicopter crash?" And that's exactly what he did instead of consoling families.

K2; You and a BUNCH of people around here were lined up at the car washes yesterday.

Thanks for the pictures Lee, and thanks for mentioning the Manatees in the water. I don't think I would have seen them if I wasn't looking for them.

How ya be, KC?

Yesterday morning I got a call from our Family doctor's office. And they said that they just learned that our Family Doctor had to give clearance for me to get next Tuesday's surgery. (Yea right, they were probably notified 2 weeks ago.) And they couldn't get me in till Monday afternoon.

That would have almost guaranteed a delay. So Kathi got on the phone and bitched to somebody there and next thing I know I get a call saying I could get in yesterday. Problem solved. And the clearance was issued.

Hell, that could have been handled over the phone since either the surgeon or the hospital already did all the testing that was needed.

A lovely early walk with Ava this morning.
I think that The Universe would likely agree with you Mike.
Good deal on the car wash Kathie. I’m gob smacked at the cost of car washes. So, what was for dinner last night?
Good for Kathi lighting a fire under somebody’s butt Dave. With the technology today your results were likely easily shared with all concerned. It should have been, as it was yesterday, a couple of calls doctors to doctors and a call to you with the thumbs up.

I’m surprised your president didn’t blame and cut funding to North Carolina. They were first in flight.
Be good my friends.

Good Morning Wrabbits. RAINING now and supposed to rain until 5pm and then we might get flurries that shouldn't amount to much. Joy, Joy. It's gloomy outside and a good day to read a book.

Lee: We had Stoffers Stuffed Green Peppers. Always a "Quick meal" when I don't feel like cooking!
And yes, car washes are expensive unless you do it yourself or go to the one or two that are still $3 bucks that you quickly drive through. Those are quickly being bought up and changed over to the crazy pay by month type of car washes with at least 20 Vacuums that hardly anybody uses. They charge monthly about $20 bucks or more. CRAZY. Of course, in Arizona car washes are anywhere from $30 -40 bucks a crack. And that was at least 10 years ago when we were there.

Lee/Lu-Ann: Enjoy your warm temps today! Suppose to be a high of 80F. Go out by the pool and get a suntan while you can.

DAVE: Nice to know that your sweetie (Kathi) took care of you getting the clearance for surgery. She's my kind of gal. Who in their right mind would think all would work out by having you go into the office the AFTERNOON BEFORE you were to have surgery. The whole world is nuts lately. Wishing you all the best next week. Tell Kathi to give us a report after it's done.

Mike:
that man is the most digusting piece of s__t in t he universe! You have that right for sure.

I'm out of here to get an English Muffin and fresh cup of coffee.

Right you are Kathie. It seems that it's 82F under sunny skies and feels like 86F. Now that’s the weather we came to Florida for. We are careful in the sun though. We’re enjoying a nice cool glass of “Butter Kissed Chardonnay” by the pool as I type.
How was that coffee and English muffin?

English Muffin had Rasp jam on it and coffee was good.

Next week you will have a whole week in the mid-80’s. FINALLY! Jack up that pool heater and stay home and float around in the pool. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

It’s Friday night and never a good an evening for TV.

We got about 1” of snow all in about a little over a hour.
Stopped for now!

Good night all.

Good Saturday morning, Bunnies!

A weekend, where we retired folk have to share the stores with the "workin-folk". :)

I'm surprised that we've still got some patches of snow in the yard and on some bushes after all the 40 degree temperatures and rain we've had in the past couple of days. A few of the bushes, the weight of the snow and ice broke them down pretty good. We'll have to see if they recover come spring.

Today should be sunny but top out at around freezing.

Happy for you Lee that you FINALLY got some of that Florida weather that you went to Florida for.

The cost of going through a car wash is nuts. I only use those basic, do it yourself car washes where you insert quarters.

I see that the Buffoon is putting his stupid tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China today. That idiot seems to be the only person who doesn't understand that Americans are the ones who pay for those tariffs.

I think he gets stupider every day.

I think he gets stupider every day.
Is that even possible Dave? Only time will tell…
A little drizzle towards the end of our walk this morning. There must have been critters about. Ava kept stopping and looking around.
Pool heat is controlled remotely Kathie. Most of the pools are like that now. Too many guests setting the water temp too high. Ours was comfortable yesterday. After we shared a Publix French Onion London Broil sub for lunch we did the toasted thin bagels for dinner!
Not much else this morning. We’re meeting friends at the Summer House on The Lake in Disney Springs for lunch.
Hope you all have a great Saturday!

Happy Good Morning GIF
Enjoy your coffee folks. 22F and bright outside. No more snow, so far.

Lee / Lu-Ann enjoy your trip to Summer House.
Tell me, is parking still free in that structure close to Disney Springs? They were working on something the last time we visited Disney Springs. Can't remember what it was. Some attraction. It's most likely torn down by now, since it's been so long since we were there! HaHa

Dave: Try not to pack your tummy up with too much food the next few days. I'm sure you'll be drinking some of that UGLY JUICE they make you take to clean yourself out before surgery! Even if they don't........eat light the next few days.

Mike: Did you get snow yesterday? I hope you and Fay are doing well.

I'm out of here. Be back later if I have anything interesting to post.

Our KAREN must be extremely busy to stay away for so long. HELLO FRIEND!

feb 1, just 3 more monthe til June. Who's counting, I am.
K2. it was a balmy 60 degrees yesterday, 38 and sunny right not.
Lee, hope you enjoyed your visit with your friends. What do you consider comfortable for the pool water? 80!!!!! I think Canada is thinking about raising the cost of electricity to the US, don't blame them, hope it doesn't start a tariff war.

It seems that it's 82F under sunny skies and feels like 86F. I can live with that
I think he gets stupider every day.
His IQ is allready down to -100 car wash, whats that??????Years ago when I had a truck I was afraid to wash it, was afraid the only thing holding it together was the salt on it.
That idiot seems to be the only person who doesn't understand that Americans are the ones who pay for those tariffs.
I guess he thinks he is showing US and Canada how tough he is
The Tierneys came over last night, as usual we had a nice time.
I'm going to get a cup of Coffee, join me anyone?

MIKE: GREAT POST.......thanks for sharing. I feel like we will all be in the poor house very soon with all these new Tariffs that started today.
He also FIRED long good FBI agents because they raided his Mar i Lago house. The man is so HATEFUL he is very dangerous.
I envy your temps Mike. We're at 27F right now.

Lee: So happy you're finally getting some WARM TEMPS down there. You're paying enough for them. So, what's the temp of the pool today? And do they have a cover over it to keep the heat in at night?

Later gang.

Still a tad overcast here today. But we don’t have to shovel overcast.
Lunch at Lake House was nice. Our friends get a 20% cast member discount. Because they have treated us to three parks we felt the least we could do was to buy lunch. We also gave them a WDW gift card they can use on their upcoming Disney cruise.
Parking is still free Kathie. Three huge garages and a surface lot. Wolfgang Puck’s and Gloria Estefan’s “Bongos” were demolished and replaced by Lake House and Jose Andreas’s Jaleo. The pool covers were declared safety hazards so rental homes in this community no longer allow them.
To answer both you and Mike, pool temperatures in rental homes are regulated at 86F and spas at 104F when the jets are on. We are so fortunate that we pay Sunshine directly in CDN dollars and our rate is about 40% less than the advertised rate and she includes the pool heat which can be $25USD and up per day! YIKES!!
Sadly Mike Washington appears to want a trade war. As with most wars it’s the innocent people, consumers in this case, who pay the price. The “Harmonized System” used internationally to determine a products origin for tax purposes is quite complicated. I doubt the little orange dictator baby even grasps or understands the system.
And now, yes, I’ll join you in that coffee.

LEE /LU-ANN: Looks like you’ll have one fantastic week of warm temps. Very low percentage for any rain. Enjoy!

Decent weather forecast for Lee. Most of the rest of us will have to deal with temperatures that are half of that. Oh, Lee and KC are the lucky Bunnies.

Haven't got much to talk about because we didn't do much of anything yesterday. And today's schedule looks much the same.

Ya'll be safe.

Hope you are stocked up on tequila, it's gonna get expensive now. :)

Somebody with four paws and a wet nose had me up just past 5:00 this morning. Being a good doggy daddy I got dressed and Ava and I headed off for a longer morning walk. We spotted a number of armadillo and a couple of bunnies. Funny, when it was cool and wet when we first arrived she’d stay snuggled in her little bed until after 7:00.
Now I’m enjoying a coffee as I catch up with my hutch buddies and the morning news.
Thanks for the forecast Kathie. I’m a bit of a weather geek and primarily use AccuWeather, Weather Channel, and Apple Weather. Lu-Ann showed me Angeline’s post remembering Tony. Hard to believe it’s been four years since we lost him.
Today is a good day to stay out of Orlando Dave. It’s the NFL ProBowl. Cheap seats aren’t a bad deal starting at only $29. I guess the new flag football format doesn’t garner enough interest to be on regular tv.
That coffee was so good yesterday Mike I decided to start today with an early one. Perhaps you’ll join me this morning.
Whats up here today? Well for starters about 7:14, the sun. Beyond that only time will tell.
Have a good day everyone.

23F and they say we will get 2" of snow today! Welcome to February!
Dave said:

Have you seen prices on Tequila lately? The price is ALREADY out of control. Glad I don't drink a lot of Margaretta's! Ordering one of those in a bar or restaurant will set you back a lot with the "tariffs".
I read that Canada and Mexico are going to implement tariffs on the USA some starting Tuesday.
Sure hope Lee is able to get back into his country alright! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: :canada:
Lee: I saw the remembrance about our Tony that his daughter Angeline posted. Still miss that guy. He kept the humor up in here with Mama Bear (BB) and I enjoyed reading their posts.
Dave: I hope your surgery goes well on Tuesday. Make sure Kathi keeps us posted or maybe even you will be able to shuffle to the computer and let us know how it went.
Are they keeping you for at least a night or two? Hope so.
I'm out of here for now. Nothing new here to chat about.
