Good Tuesday morning, Bunnies! Pretty much just random thoughts from me this morning.

We're underway for just week 2 of the Buffoon returning to the White House. Even though if feels like it's already been 6 months. And along with him returned his chaos. I sure enjoyed the 4 years of Boring-Joe.

I wonder Lee if Miss Ava has already been out for her wander. I have no idea if I'm watching the original "All Creatures" or the second one. All I know is that the TV is set to only record new episodes. Waiting to hear about EPCOT.

My visit to the heart doctor yesterday went good enough to get them to OK me to get next week's prostate surgery. One doctor down, one family doctor to go.

Time to give KC a call, K2. A gentle nudge to pop in and say HI. It doesn't have to be long, just give us an idea of what she's up to. Making people pay to watch the last season of a series which had been free is a dirty damn trick. Screw that show, in my book.

My goodness Mike, we're getting up in to the mid 30's today. What's in your forecast? Whatever it is, we know in won't include ice fishing.

Good morning!
51F here now headed towards 74F later this afternoon.
I’m a long suffering Bills fan Mike. We used to live about an hour and a half from The Bills stadium so they were my NFL team. A short visit to the doctor is usually a good one.
Yes Dave, Ava and I left at 6:02 this morning and went for a half hour wander. Bunnies and armadillo were out this morning. Much like us she looks at the armadillo and thinks “what is that creature?” Good to hear that the first doc has signed off. We hope to take in the “Frozen” ride in Norway tonight. Then have a wander leading up to EPCOT’s fireworks at 9:00. Hope I can stay awake that late! Our next trip to EPCOT will be at 4:00 am February 21 for The Princess 5K.
Maybe your Doc Martin channel has a free trial week that you can binge the last season Kathie. That would be good. We have been watching the British and Australian versions of The Traitors. A group of 24 regular people trying to make it to the end to win however much cash is in the pot. We tried the US and CDN versions but they use so called “reality” stars as players. Not quite the same dynamic.
Time for coffee. I know if I leave a cup out someone will join me.

Good Morning Wrabbits. Weather says it's 24F and feels like 30F. Now that seems rather strange. The good part the past few days is that it has been SUNNY. Makes all the difference.

Dave: Good to read that you're on the right track to getting total approval for next weeks surgery. Is this a IN and OUT surgery or do you get to spend at least a day or two in the hospital? Either way I know you'll be glad when it's over and done with.

Regarding me calling Karen that won't be happening. You called and she said she was busy, so I'll have to leave it at that for now. I respect her space, as much as it's killing me. Miss her.

Lee: It always makes me laugh when you write that you and Ava see Armadillo's on your walks. Funny how different states and areas have different local creatures hanging around.
Speaking of HANGING AROUND........I haven't read much about that one type of bird falling out of the trees when it gets too COLD. Not sure if it's a Parrot or not. Perhaps the hurricanes blew them all away!
Sounds like you're going to have a nice evening. May I suggest a early afternoon glass of wine and a NAP so you don't fall asleep! Can't wait to see the Princess 5K pictures when it's over. Just be careful and if you feel "winded, etc" STOP and walk the balance of the race. Hate to see you overdo it.

MIKE: I called Comcast and added the "ACORN TV" station and binge watched the last 9 episodes of DOC MARTIN. This morning, I called and cancelled the station. They PRO-RATE the charge and since I only basically used it for less than a whole day it should be a very minimal charge. I was glad to be able to see the last season and the 9 episodes and now I'm done with Doc Martin. Like most long series, the producers have a hard time ENDING a show. The last final episode was a mess of bits and pieces, and you could tell they were struggling on just how to finally end it. The entire production, from Season 1 to Season 10 was a joy to watch. You got the feeling you were part of the series family when you Binge Watch. No commercials and having to wait for a week to go by to watch the next episode.

Made some individual Banana Nut Breads. Easy to freeze and Art doesn't eat them as fast as if a regular size loaf was on the counter.

Off to sit down and scan the TV for another series to watch during the week.
I really need to pick up the book I have on my nightstand and start reading it.

filled my pillbox this morning, that always a fun thing to do.
Lee, when I first saw t h e picture of you I thought it was Fay's brother in law when he was younger. My sister and her husband lived in Williamsville for years, I still have a niece and nephew that lives there.
K2, youre banana bread looks great.
Dave, Our forecast for today mid 30s, it will stay in the mid 40s or 50s for the next 10 days. Fay mentioned to me that since both my parents came over I may be an illegal but my dad became a citizen. If frump finds out my Dad was a strong coal miner democrat he may send me back.
I think I'll join Lee in a cup of coffee if it's not too late.

37F with wind chill of 21F here! Brrr. Suppose to get some snow flurries sometime today.

I’m up because I fell asleep on the couch watching Jimmy Kimmel. Woke up to the mandatory ALERT CHECK WARNING ALARM. If there was a public notice that needed to get out to everyone they would interrupt and do it on the TV.
The Alarm is rather loud.

It's an early start to the day, especially for Kathi. Gotta leave here for the hospital for some blood tests at 7:15 for my surgery next week. When we get back, I'd make a big bet that Kathi goes back to bed within an hour.

There's an overnight stay at the hospital after the surgery, K2. "Acorn TV", now that's a pay channel I've never heard of. As they say......."Reading Is Fundamental!" Now put down that TV remote.

By your pictures Lee, could you be trying to tell us that you are carbo-loading for your 5-K? Looking forward to more details about EPCOT.

No 50 degree temperatures in our 10 day weather forecast, Mike. Lower to mid 40's is it. The Buffoon may try to deport you just because you didn't vote for him.

Good morning.
Your banana bread sounds like it would hit the spot with a cup of coffee Kathie. Am I right Mike? I think you were thinking of the iguanas that get cold and fall out of the trees. I read Caroline Kennedy’s speech. Excellent points on yet another unqualified pick for a position. No free chocolates since Covid. I can tell you Ghirardelli isn’t as busy as it used to be! I hate those loud government alerts too.
Fay’s brother in law must have been, like me, a very handsome man when he was younger. Are you buttering me up for a chocolate too?
Acorn TV is a streaming service that features British shows Dave. The other being BritBox. We tend to switch back and forth because they both have good shows that we enjoy.
EPCOT was bustling last evening. It’s their Festival of The Arts. Lots of artists, street artists doing sidewalk art and musical shows. We have to keep time alone for Ava in mind so picked up Debra at 5:00 and met Eric at 5:20. He works at “Adventures By Disney“ (high end travel planners) and his office is in Celebration. After a quick dinner in China we headed to Norway. The Frozen ride was over an hour wait. Nope. We wandered about half way around the countries and paused at The United States for the Disney on Broadway production. Checked Frozen again and decided to get a spot for the fireworks. Which, as only Disney can do, were amazing. Eric, people affectionately call him “Mr Disney”, knows every nook and cranny of all of the parks. He loves to share his knowledge and takes the time to point out many little details most people miss.
Before we knew it the evening came to an end and we were headed home.

Lee, you are right, the banana bread would be very nice with a cup of coffee. If it workds I will butter anyone up for a piece of chocolate. Do I get dark or milk or does it make a difference how much butter do I lather on? Yes, Fay's brother was handsome, athletic and muically talented. The more I read about Kennedy the less I like him. Thanks for the pictures. It sounds like you had a very busy and enjoyable day yesterday.
K2, when you are eating some of that food that you vacuumed you will be glad you did it and enjoy every bite. Did you go back to bed after you woke up this AM?????
It's only 45 now, but supposed to warm up some the next few days Dave. I won't be satisfied till it gets much warmer. We, like you, still have some small patches of snow on the grass where it is shady.

A nice lunch with friends at Columbia in Celebration today. Tomorrow we’re off, with Ava, to Blue Spring State Park to see the manatee. As long as she’s on a 6ft or shorter lead she can come too.
