It snowed about five inches on Monday. The official total wasn't that high because the weather service office is in town where it didn't snow. Then on Wednesday it snowed really hard on the other side of town and even an inch and a half on the strip! Henderson got about 8 inches and school was closed on Thursday (which I don't really think was necessary)

Very interesting weather.

Sunny today and 42 degrees. Supposed to get down to 29 overnight. Brrrrrrr.

Hey there TMoore in Ann Arbor, MI..........about 1.5 hours away from me here in Macomb, MI!! :wave This weather SUCKS big time. I hate Winter to begin with and this freezing cold and wind is horrible!!

Detroit/Metro Area has had 3 degree temps with BELOW ZERO -l7 last night Windchills! ::eek:

SAN: Nice to see your gas prices coming down a little. I still think EVERYONES GAS PRICES should be lower since the cost of a barrel is down so low. The gas stations are making their Christmas Bonus's I think!!

Stay warm all.........

Detroit/Metro area is getting light rain right now and temps are 35-40. Nice.

Tons of SLUSH in the streets. Hope it doesn't freeze tonight. (td)

Boba: If you were in Florida then you'd complain when the temps hit 50 degrees.

Merry Merry Christmas to you all. Keep posting.......it's fun to see where some of you live when you post.

REMEMBER TO PUT WHICH CITY/STATE YOU'RE FROM. MAKES IT MORE FUN TO READ.

We're off to friends tonight to celebrate a Traditional \Polish Christmas Eve. Then the gang is over here
tomorrow. Thank goodness it's almost over. Way too much cooking and baking. But that's what it's all about
FAMILY and GRANDKIDS, BROTHERS and SISTERS and all the rest. Enjoy.

Detroit/Metro area: Got a blast of snow earlier for 5-10 mins and then it stopped just as quick. Then it rained for about 20 mins and froze on the front windows of the house. It's 30 degrees and just cold and dreary outside here.
Thank goodness I'm staying home all day. I have one duplicate gift that needs to get returned....a headset for my IPod........and that can wait until "Next Year" to get taken back. Quick and easy.

Polish dinner at Christmas Eve TMoore was just about the same as what you had. We broke the traditional wafer with each other too. I love the homemade mushroom soup. Yummo.

You all take care today and try and remember to put your City/State in your posts or signature line so we all know where you're reporting your weather from!

We had a little more snow here in Vegas last night. Only the third time on record we have had any on Christmas. It was overcast with rain showers at my house. Nothing like the storms we had week before last, just a trace of snow this time.

Today it was 35 when I was on my way to work. Only supposed to get up to 45 today and mostly sunny. That's 10 degrees below normal. I guess it is pay back for the 10 degrees above normal we had for most of the Fall.

Hopw everyone had a great Christmas.

[large]Detroit/Metro area: We're suppose to get up to 58 degrees on Sat!! Good time to take down the outside lights. Hope some of this SNOW MELTS before it gets back into the 30's again.

Michael: Nice to see you posting again. UNREAL that you got SNOW again in Vegas. But it doesn't bother
the people in the Casino...........they just keep throwing away their money!! :girly I heard that you can throw a bowling ball through some of the Casino's because of the bad economy right now. NOT AS MANY PEOPLE THROWING AWAY WHAT MONEY THEY HAVE LEFT!! Scarey.

Take care and have a safe New Years Eve and New Year all.

Detroit/Metro Area: The WIND has finally calmed down. Had a lot of electrial outages all over the place. We were spared this time.

No rain today and we actually got to see the Sunshine for awhile. Still in the high 30's.

We saw a lot of Flooded fields while we were out tonight. I guess it's good that the wind was blowing most of the day to try and dry things up.

Take care all........

MBandy: You better start getting some nicer weather out West. My hubby and I are going to be in Scottsdale for the month of Feb and a week in March and I expect it to be a LOT WARMER than it is right now!! I know you'll do your best to keep any cold weather from getting over there from Vegas.

Hope your temps get warmer soon enough for you!! Have a good week all.
